The Cowboys dropped their season opener to the Carolina Panthers 27-11 in the season opener on the road. The Cowboys fought hard but were overcome with turnover issues that plagued them all game. The Saints continued their stellar start to the 2016 campaign
with a blowout victory over the visiting New York Giants behind a
dominant defense and a balanced offensive attack. The Saints
gave up a 53 yard TD run to fall behind 7-0, but they reeled off 45
straight points and never looked back.
