Week 4 was against the Bears at home. After a close first quarter with CHI leading 14-13, NYG would get hot in the second and third quarter putting up another 28 to the Bears' 10. After a solid week one game on the road, the Giants took on the Carolina Panthers for the first home game of the season. What ensued left many leaving the stadium early, as the home team lost 41-14 in what was a total blowout.
