With season two past the midseason point, the Saints find themselves at a lack luster 4-6. With 2020 being a very peculiarly odd year for most people across the planet, this sentiment didn’t stop in regards to the SFL season as well.
Dallas- The Saints won their 4th game in a row despite Mark Ingram being injured behind good game management from Drew Brees (19/28 195 yds, 1TD) and a defense that made plays at the right time to escape “Jerry’s World” with it’s fourth victory in a row. New Orleans- The Saints won their 3rd game in a row behind and another strong rushing performance from Mark Ingram and a stout pass rush. Drew Brees threw his 1st TD pass on the season and the defense got to Matt Ryan 7 times and forced 3 turnovers on the day.

New Orleans- The Saints pulled to 1-2 on the season behind a defense that didn't break when needed and a stalwart running game which accounted for the teams only 2 touchdowns. St. Louis- The visiting New Orleans Saints had a much improved defensive showing led by Jarius Byrd's 2 interceptions and a visious pass rush that got home 7 times, but could not muster enough offense to leave the stadium with a win. Rookie QB Richard Boren was diagnosed with a torn labrum that will leave him sidelined for 5 weeks and a deteriorating Drew Brees threw 2 interceptions and Jimmy Graham fumbled on the potential game winning drive.
