New Orleans- The Saints won their 3^rd game in a row behind and another strong rushing performance from Mark Ingram and a stout pass rush.  Drew Brees threw his 1^st TD pass on the season and the defense got to Matt Ryan 7 times and forced 3 turnovers on the day.

New Orleans- The Saints pulled even on the season with a resounding 31-7 win over the NFC North leading Detroit Lions behind a resounding rushing effort from Mark Ingram who ended the day with 218 yards on 29 carries with 2 touchdowns.  The defense intercepted Detroit 3 times and injured Matt Stafford, which further led to Detroit’s woes.

Tampa Bay came into the game needing to prove that they can win with the big time acquisitions of TE Julius Thomas and WR Mike Wallace after a poor showing against division rival Atlanta. The offense didn't look much better against the Eagles so there will be talk in the media in regards to poor offseason moves by Coach Cypher Simile.
