::Coach Cypher Simile takes to the podium::
Cypher Simile: Before I take any of your questions, allow me to say that 1) We realize with our record we would be first place in any other division not named the AFC North. 2) This whole division of champions crap we [Dubb, AC, Q] agreed to do was retarded. 3) Lavonte David is a gawd. Question away.
Reporter #1: How do you assess your team's performance thus far?
CS: Defensively we are right where we want to be and offensively we could use a little work. If not for this past game versus Indy, we would be middle tier in every offensive category besides in rushing. We are winning games but to win a championship we are going to need a little bit more out of the offense.
R #2: Who are your offensive and defensive MVPs thus far?
CS: Defense it has to be Lavonte David. Reigning defensive player of the year, got paid and is still playing at an incredibly high level. I would dare say he's the best linebacker in the SFL and will probably win DPOY again which I'm not sure has been done in the SFL yet. On offense I'll say Doug Martin. We came into the year not sure if he would be the runningback of the future as we have a few capable runningbacks on the team and he also needed to be paid. He earned every dime off of his new contract and is still grinding every game. He helps take the pressure off of Mike Glennon and co. with his effort.
R #3: Who, in the division, do you enjoy playing the most and dislike playing the most?
CS: I enjoy playing AC and the Panthers the most. Every game there are players out there dying for the cause. Plus they have the division's second best linebacker in Luke Kuechly over there. Every game seems to always come down to the wire and as a fan of the game you have to enjoy slugfests and close games. As for dislike? Man...I HATE playing those Saints. They play extremely quick and its extremely difficult to make them commit mistakes. He adjusts to whatever the opposition is doing on offense and defense better than anyone else in the league. Definently one of the best owners and most difficult opponents to face.
R #4: Can this team win the SFL Bowl?
CS: Definently. Defense wins championships and I feel as though we have one of the best defenses in the league. The front seven is where it begins and ends for us and there is nothing wrong with that in my opinion. As long as the offense does what it needs to do week in and week out then I believe we will contend year in and year out as long as I'm around.
R #5: Last question, you haven't held the same team for more than one Madden...will this team be the first you hang on to?
CS: Hmm.....maybe. Maybe not. Ask me again come Madden 16 when/if Marcus Mariota is quarterbacking for the squad and I'll let you know then. Thank you guys for y'all time.
