The Chargers hosted the Buffalo Bills Wednesday night and suffered their first defeat of the season, 30-17. 

The Charger offense could never find it's rhythm due to the Bills defense. "They had a good game plan against us and we just didn't make the adjustments, said Coach Ball Hawk. I'll take all the blame that the team wasn't ready to play." Rookie QB Hollenbach struggled in his first test of the season throwing 4 Ints. 

The Chargers travled to Cleveland on a Tuesday night to face an AFC conference opponent in the Cleveland Browns. It was a very tight 1H with San Diego scoring with 2 seconds before the half to take a 14-7 lead. The 2nd half saw quite a bit of scoring as neither team could really slow down the other. Week 1 is in the books and teams are still looking for their identities. We were subjected to some upsets this past week and week 2 is sure to be no different.

The team looked steady today, though still not firing on all cylinders.  When asked about his performance of 16/27 258 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, Quarterback Gideon Wyatt said, "I felt like I was playing more to not make mistakes than to make plays, I am going to have to start playing better."  The sentiment was felt around the locker room, 5 dropped passes on offense, and 3 dropped interceptions on defense.

The 2019 SFL Season is upon us, every team in the league has made moves this past off-season and geared up for the grind once again. Slates are cleaned and expectations are high, each week a handful of SFL owners will choose winners for each match-up and I may provide an outlook later on in the year.

The San Diego Chargers opened up the new season with a big win over division rival, Oakland, 34-24  Sunday night. 

The Chargers were led on offense by Rookie QB Dillon Hollenbach and Star WR Keenan Allen. Hollenbach was a 1st round draft pick by the Chargers in the past draft.
