The Chargers hosted the Buffalo Bills Wednesday night and suffered their first defeat of the season, 30-17.
The Charger offense could never find it's rhythm due to the Bills defense. "They had a good game plan against us and we just didn't make the adjustments, said Coach Ball Hawk. I'll take all the blame that the team wasn't ready to play." Rookie QB Hollenbach struggled in his first test of the season throwing 4 Ints.
San Diego's defense played it's normal bend but don't break defense but gave up a few key 3rd downs and one big TD run to ice the game. "I'm proud of the defense right now. They are improving as the season goes, said Ball Hawk. People are quick to forget we traded away our 2 best players on defense in Verrett and Bosa for younger guys and draft picks. I have 100% faith that our defense will start to gel together."
