Atlanta vs Seattle.
Big brother versus little brother. Q vs Q3. Julio Jones vs Richard Sherman. Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman vs Bobby Wagner. Royce Da 5'9" vs Shaq Griffin.
Russell Brand vs D-Block. No matter how you write this narrative, this was probably unexpected heading into this second season. We all knew that Seattle had a phenomenal defense but nobody truly expected Matthew to have the second best record in the entire leag...

The Bengals playoff train keeps on chugging...and Joe Mixon is the conductor. After this weeks dominating victory against Jacksonville the Bengals are only 1 game out of first place in the AFC North. Lead running back Joe Mixon's hot streak has not stopped, Mixon rushed for 201 yards and 2Tds this week while on the defensive side rookie MLB Antwon Bellanca had 3 interceptions against Drew Brees. Those 3 INTs add up to 10 on the year, Bellanca is in the lead right now for AFC Defensive ...

After being sidelined for 5 weeks Joe Mixon returned from the Bengals PUP list week 11 against the Ravens. Pre injury Mixon only rushed for 145 yards and no TDs, since his return Mixon has 270 yards and 3 Tds with 2 100 plus yard games. There seems to be a revival to Mixons play since his return. Siting at 6-6 the Bengals are not out of the playoff race, I caught up with HC Byrd earlier this week and this is what he had to say "Well the plan is to win out, period. We need to take it o...

Despite falling to 2-6, that loss lit a fire under the young Cardinals team. Coach Ed Hernandez told his team "...

Tyrod Taylor got his first start for the Bills since this point last season. It was a rough game for Taylor who gave the Lions 14 points and most likely made Glover Quinn the NFC defensive player of the week. There was some good however as he did pass for 355 and 2 TD's. The INT's are easily correctable it seems.
Jordan Matthews had a breakout game as he reached the endzone twice and rookie Paul Smoot had 12 catches. ...

Top 3 Individual Match-Ups
1. WR Zay Jones vs CB Darius Slay Jr.
Jones leads the Bills in both receptions and yardage. Slay is the Lions top CB. It should be a great matchup. Jones certainly will not be running past Slay who possesses 95 speed and 93 Accel. Jones however, is tied for twelveth in the league (in a logjam) in receiving touchdowns and 11th in pass receptions.
The Minnesota Vikings have been out of action for awhile BUT this Friday noght the league could see them play once again. They sit at 2-7 having only played 3 actual games, and a chance to still win the North. It'll be tough to win out with the oppenents they have left but coach Miller has kept his team confident through this tough time. First game up is the improved Packers, this rivalry heated up in the offseason so we are looking for...
