Bengals playoff hopes stay alive

The Bengals playoff train keeps on chugging...and Joe Mixon is the conductor. After this weeks dominating victory against Jacksonville the Bengals are only 1 game out of first place in the AFC North. Lead running back Joe Mixon's hot streak has not stopped, Mixon rushed for 201 yards and 2Tds this week while on the defensive side rookie MLB Antwon Bellanca had 3 interceptions against Drew Brees. Those 3 INTs add up to 10 on the year, Bellanca is in the lead right now for AFC Defensive Rookie of the year. We caught up with veteran LB Vontaze Burfict and this is what he had to say about Bellanca, "He's gonna be great, no doubt. The amount of life he's brought to this defense is incredible and it's just what we needed. Comin in yanno I started mentoring him ever since his first visit to the facility, I knew this kid was something special." The Bengals will host the Panthers in an important game next week.
