Atlanta vs Seattle.
Big brother versus little brother. Q vs Q3. Julio Jones vs Richard Sherman. Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman vs Bobby Wagner. Royce Da 5'9" vs Shaq Griffin.
Russell Brand vs D-Block. No matter how you write this narrative, this was probably unexpected heading into this second season. We all knew that Seattle had a phenomenal defense but nobody truly expected Matthew to have the second best record in the entire league heading into Week 15. His lone mistake, a slip-up against Chicken Hawk that destroyed what would've been a perfect record.
Seattle is facing Atlanta who is on the verge of possibly having a third 16-0 season (which has never been done before in SFL history.) Matt's progress before our very eyes has been fascinating. No longer is he out here throwing away games, he's out here commanding his offense and scoring points. The original knock was that he hasn't played anybody. However, that defense just has a dominant performance against former champion Bryce. Shutting him out and statistically holding him to -30 yards passing through three quarters, Yeah, negative thirty.
Seattle has the number one defense (for now) and Atlanta has the mumber two defense. These stats are for the entire league. Couple in that the Falcons have the highest scoring offense in the league and then you can see truly that the next game truly controls who will host the NFC championship game. Both teams have already clinched byes and have very little to play for. However, there will be bloodshed.
