The Chargers dropped their most recent game 45-31 against the Denver Broncos Sunday night. The loss moves LAC to 8-4 on the season and #1 in the AFC West divsion. As of now the Chargers hold the #3 seed in the AFC.
The next 4 games will feature 3 potential playoff teams. Road game at Arizona, Road game at Houston, who could be a potential 2nd rd playoff matchup, and finally home games against Seattle and LA Rams.
Houston is currently 10-2 and ranked #4.
Seattle is currently 10-1 and ranked #3
LA Rams are currently 7-5 and ranked #10
Arizona is currently 6-6 and trying to make the WC in the NFC.
It'll be a tough stretch for the Chargers who at the minimum need to win 3/4 on the final stretch.
Between injuries and suspensions this has been an interesting season for LAC. RB Melvin Gordon will be back by Week 15 but it doesn't look good for SS RayShawn Jenkins who could miss the remainder of the season.
Still the Chargers have had one of the top offenses all season, ranking 1st in total offense, top 10 in passing, top 5 in rushing and top 10 in PPG.
The defense has not clicked all season but a lot of that was due to injuries across the board. The unit is healthy minus star SS. They have slowly climbed out of the bottom of the league defensively to around 15-21 in all categories. Expect the defense to return to its dominating ways the next few weeks and playoffs.
