Week 1 is in the books and teams are still looking for their identities. We were subjected to some upsets this past week and week 2 is sure to be no different.
Here are the picks and updated standings heading into week 2:
The team looked steady today, though still not firing on all cylinders. When asked about his performance of 16/27 258 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, Quarterback Gideon Wyatt said, "I felt like I was playing more to not make mistakes than to make plays, I am going to have to start playing better." The sentiment was felt around the locker room, 5 dropped passes on offense, and 3 dropped interceptions on defense.
The other offensive weapons, 22...

The Broncos are going into the year with some new additions on offense and defense that they hope will pay off.
With the trading of their second round pick for a speedy MLB, Connor MacLeod, the Broncos hope to boister their big plays on defense, when asked about his impact on the game, MacLeod said, "At the end of the day, there can be only one."
On offense, they are led by their two second year players, Gideon Wyatt at QB, and Walter Payton Jr...

The San Diego Chargers opened up the new season with a big win over division rival, Oakland, 34-24 Sunday night.
The Chargers were led on offense by Rookie QB Dillon Hollenbach and Star WR Keenan Allen. Hollenbach was a 1st round draft pick by the Chargers in the past draft. It was a new sight for Chargers fans as Philip Rivers had been at SD for 13 seasons. The rookie went 23/34 for 287 yards, 2 TDs and 2 Ints. Not his best outing but it was effici...

The San Diego Chargers got off to great start in the first 7 weeks of the season going 5-2. After the Bye week 8, the Chargers are 2-3 in their last 5, 7-5 overall. They still hold first place in the AFC West over Denver but a loss last week to Denver did them ZERO favors for keeping that lead.
The Chargers will have to make this playoff push without star WR, Keenan Allen. He suffered a shoulder injury against Denver and will miss 4 weeks. IF San Diego can make...

Many things have happened to the Atlanta Falcons since season 1 of the Madden 16 cycle. After bottoming out to the NFC representative for the Super Bowl in season 1 (the Rams), Atlanta began laying the ground work to do something that only 2 owners previous to him had done (it's since been replicated in Season 3 by St. Louis). After being told he was "too smart" to trade with, Truth got rather aggressive in the last few Free Agencies and with some smart drafting, Atlanta ende...

Following their 6-10 finish the Carolina Panthers knew they needed to re-boot on both sides of the ball during both the free agency period and NFL Draft. With the 10th overall selection Carolina was in a position to draft a game changer on both offense or defense. Both Greg Olsen and Johnathan Stewart are aging well, butthey could give Cam Newton another younger weapon alongside Kelvin Benjamin and Sedrick Blue, or add another pass rusher/ defensive back to this ever growing defence.

The 2017 season was nothing to write home about for Carolina Panthers' fans. They found themselves down in the ditch sporting a 6-10 record and missing the post-season for the first time in 4 seasons.
Carolina fell into a massive slump following a 28-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 9 in front of their home crowd. The Panthers then lost 7 of their next 9 games to close out the season, it was clear that this team was not themselves.
Cam Newton, the t...

The Carolina Panthers were suffering when it came to their secondary as the 2017 draft began, holding only 3 active CBs on their roster. Among other positions the Panthers were in need of they believed that a third shutdown corner was what this team needed most.
At #22 the Panthers selected Wisconsins' Deon Talbott, a 6'0" speed machine who posseses great speed along with a strong football IQ, two things Carolina wants in a young up and coming corner.
