Many things have happened to the Atlanta Falcons since season 1 of the Madden 16 cycle. After bottoming out to the NFC representative for the Super Bowl in season 1 (the Rams), Atlanta began laying the ground work to do something that only 2 owners previous to him had done (it's since been replicated in Season 3 by St. Louis). After being told he was "too smart" to trade with, Truth got rather aggressive in the last few Free Agencies and with some smart drafting, Atlanta ended up going 19-0 and defeated the Titans in the Superbowl in Season 2.
However, after adopting the "fast and physical" mantra from Dan Quinn, Atlanta sort out to move some pieces and get better and faster on both sides of the football. Julio Jones still remains the SFL GOAT at Wide receiver. There's probably no one in the league who's able to replicate what he's been able to do. There have been some sad departures, a la Jalen Collins who was shipped off to the Texans in order for the Falcons could acquire another LSU corner, but this guy ran a 4.3 flat at the Combine, C. J. Mays.
After trading away Worrilow and other linebackers, the Falcons ended up acquiring linebackers who were either superstars or had atleast 87 speed in this crazy Madden franchise. Looking ahead though, Season 4 reckons to be the most fun of them all as the Falcons schedule has them finally facing the AFC North who also hosts a 3-time champion in AC and a annual repeat of Falcons vs Rams or Truth vs Pops (4-time champ). Also on the schedule is the always tenacious Gomes who happens to win atleast 13 games every year, so the onus is on the Falcons to try and get another bye week this year. Amongst all of this though, Carolina has re-tooled as well and will not be forgotten. Every game this season will be heart-attack serious and the Falcons will attempt to do what no other team or owner has done, have multiple 19-0 seasons.
