As we near the playoff push and the conculison of another regular season i'd like to post some of my choices for league awards ( not using madden stats as the only difinitive barometor but also PLAYVER VS PLAYER GAMES NOT CPU VS PLAYER) and how this season may just play out...

After dropping their last two games heading into their week 7 bye, the New York Jets looked to turn the tables and pick up their play when they hosted the Miami Dolphins in this week 8 matchup.
Coach Crim and his Jets have had to rely on their pass game to ignite a spark for their offense lately, with an aging duo of Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory looking to show that they deserved their most recent extensions.
This duo provided a punch on offense this week, totaling o...

Green Bay Struggles In Coach Leaf's Return
Green Bay looks to be securing itself in the bottom part of the league after a rough 24-14 pounding pause by the Texans. Green Bay looked on point for a small portion of this game but the Madden gods thought otherwise forcing some fumbles in favor of the Houston squad.
Rodgers threw for 247 with a TD but also threw two picks. The standout receiver was Randall Cobb who had 9 r...

The Oakland Raiders spent the last 2 weeks being a team of 2 halfs. They were down 10-0 at halftime to the Carolina Panthers and 20-0 at halftime to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Raiders were able to pull out 1 point victories in each game. After the latest comback Head Coach Bo Jackson had this to say " The last 2 weeks has showed the resiliency and makeup of this team. There is no quit in us. However we cant be allowing ourselves to fall behind so early...

The Saints won this week with a blowout of the Broncos. The
Saints were able to achieve this despite Zac Dysert having robotic
implants in his arm casing him to have laser accuracy. The
Saints had a balanced attack led by Richard Boren’s 284 yds and 3
TD’s, and LaMichael Maclin’s 130 yds and 2 TD’s.
On the defensive side, Cam Jordan had 3 QBT’s and Junior

Leading into a bye week its always important to head with a win, but never more so for the purplexing Cheifs.
The chiefs on paper have one of the best teams in the league, but we all know games aren't won on paper or stat sheets. Whats been labeld as a slow start, seems more like the first 4 rounds of a fight between unfimiliar foes, than anything else.
Good thing for the chiefs the pleasantries of the opening rounds should be over, with week 5's victory over ...

The Dallas Cowboys got some much needed WR help in the form of Cecil Shorts III from the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Cowboys sent over RB Demarco Murray in the deal. Murray had seen his role with the team diminish as Keevon Arnold and Lance Dunbar took more reps and performed well. Arnold currently is near the top of the league in rushing. With the Cowboys using a high pick on Arnold that they acquired in the infamaous Dez Bryant deal, the writting was on the wall for Murray as Arnold began ...

The Cowboys overcame four turnovers and rookie mistakes from Hansen Boone to beat the Lions 34-14 in Detroit for their second win this season. It was truly a tale of two halves as Cowboys rookie QB Boone was absolutely horrible in the first of the game. Boone threw 4 interceptions in the firt half of the game including a pick 6 which gave Detroit a 7-0 lead early in the game. "That was about as awful as we have played at the QB position this season." said Coach Coldwar. Boone mis...

The Saints had their 1st away game of the season and it did not
go well for them. They lost their leading rusher, Mark Ingram
for 5 weeks with a torn labrum.
Richard Boren had a good day with 278 yds and 2 TD and the defense
simply did not do enough to help the team win on the day.
