With very little cap for the Lions this offseason they had to decided to let Damon "snacks" Harrison to walk, along with notable players like Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola. With the teams direction of going younger Coach Dough felt that plan was to look at the future and save the cap for upcoming years.

There's no way, this can be a free for all, however, I think we need a little more flexibility from RnG.  But this cannot happen without structure.  Thus, I have drafted, during this faculty meeting LOL, some rules for governing and then I'll post the chart or I can send it to the admin team.  First I want to post structure:

After letting more than 31 impending free agents test the market...all that reamins are WR Sammy Watkins and CB Chavarius Ward. Re-signing Ward was a no brainer. The 25 year old corner is an ascending talent who should have made the Pro Bowl last year. He's no doubt the corner for the future and maybe the best DB on this team. That's saying something considering All Pro Safety Tyrann Mathieu is on this team.

Strapped for cash, strapped for picks. We've learned how to make a dollar out of 15 cents. It doesn't look pretty right now with 36 players but we will rebuild this roster on the philosophies of Coach Carter. The roster is extremely top heavy, we're gonna have to bank on scheme over players. Under the radar players will have to be the move this offseason and beyond. I thought about leaving this alone, but, in good conscience I cannot. Reflecting on  the QB statistics from season one and man, what can I say?  Unfortunately, Madden is going to reward many of you guys for it anyways.  Jameis Winston would love this game.  You get rewarded for being reckless.  I mean throwing 50+ INT's ??
