The Denver Broncos dealt with an injury riddled 2020 season to say the least, but they are looking past this for what is hearing up to be an interesting 2021 season. Broncos stud receiver Jerry Jeudy (The Judge) missed almost half the season right after week five which initially hampered the team's passing attack but they got back on track after getting him back. Von, despite leading the lead in QB tackles was in and out of games with injuries left and right or I'm sure his numbers would've been even better. Starting offensive lineman ending up getting the injury bug as well. Made for a very rough division push down the stretch.
Denver didn't end up winning the division, but swept the division winners (Raiders) and split with the Chiefs and Chargers. Now that all these teams are healthy healthy or even more stacked with abilities, Denver has their work cut out for them, but the upper management wouldn't have it any other way. When asked if they have any block buster trades on the horizon, the GM was mostly coy about the idea of it, simply saying "anything's possible."
Next season should be interesting as Drew Lock has ascended to Superstar, the WR Corp is healthy and that's the most interesting part. There were times when the defense had to carry Denver and now the offensive side of the ball seems ready to shoulder that burden. With a looming war within the division and then playing the AFC North as well, this should be the most fun season of the cycle.
