With the 2022 NFL draft coming to a close, the Lions look back at their first round picks heading into preseason. With the Lions trading away their first round rookie WR and back up RB, they landed the 11th pick from the Browns which ended in the selection if Demani Richardson. Richardson who Coach Dough raved about in the draft and OTAs sees that this kid is special with his sense of tracking the football and laying hit sticks, Coach Dough believed that they found their guy at SS.

With the Lions letting Da'Shawn Hand walk in free agency the raiders decided to bring in some veteran play in the trenches on the defensive side ofthe ball with Everson Griffen and Aikeem Hicks holding down the DT positions. As for the back end of the defense the Lion have also bolstered their secondary with 3 new additions in CB with Pat Pete, A.J Bouye and Steven Nelson. With the new additions the Lions hope to have a hungry defense ready to take the field in the 2022 season.

2022 SFL Mock Draft- Round 1

1. Green Bay Packers- This pick I feel could go one of two ways.......however, with DE being a little lighter than CB on the current roster, the pick here should be Kayvon Thibodeaux out of the University of Oregon. His athleticism off the edge is unparalled in this draft and puts him already near the top of current edge rushers in the league. This would be a boon after a 1-15 tank job after winning the SB in season one.

Coach Carter once again found his team missing the playoffs with an 8-8 record. Kansas City had the best division record at 4-2, a marked improvement from last year. However being .500 isn't enough in this death division. Two seasons in a row the AFC West has had every team finish with a .500 winning percentage or better. Unfortunately, we eliminate each other from postseason berths in the process.

The Baltimore Ravens won SFL Super Bowl 50 this past sunday over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs in a last second thrilling victory. Bengals managed to win 11 games this season.  It was a successful season two after a terrible season year 1. This season didn't end as well as we had hoped with a last second loss to the chargers.
