Now the the dust has settled on the 49ers playoff loss and the focus shifts from this season to next, let's take a look back at the season that was.  Despite an ownership change in the midst of a playoff run, the 49ers never missed a beat and rolled into the playoffs with momentum.  Unfortunately the Lions were the better team last night and the playoff run ended, but the season was far from a disappointment.

Despite a strong finish to the season and momentum gaining, the 49ers fell to the Lions 30-10.  The 49ers were unable to get anything going on offense and ended the game with six dropped passes.  Once again the defense gave up over 275 yards through the air and this time they weren't able to keep pace on offense.

The SMLP Playoffs are almost upon us and the schedule is nearly set. With just a few Week 17 games remaining, things are starting to come into focus.  For 20 teams, the focus has shifted to the draft.  But for the twelve lucky teams, the season has not ended yet.

With the regular season concluding, many teams are looking to the future and the most exciting part of every offseason is unquestionably the NFL Draft.

Well, it was an up and down season for the Jaguars and their fans. A seven game losing streak after starting the season 4-1 led to a change in owners. That change inspired the Jaguars play, and allowed them to finish the season 3-1 for a 7-9 overall record on the season.  While they will be missing the playoffs, the Jaguars have a lot to look forward to in the future.
