The game started out looking like it would follow the trend of the first 7 games of the season. Detroit and it's number one ranked offense against a low ranked defense, driving down the field behind it's electric tight end, Eric Ebron. Ebron started the game with 3 receptions for 28 yards, putting the Lions in scoring position, and that's when Desmond Trufant and the Atlanta Falcons defense took a stand. On a forced pass to Golden Tate, Trufant was able to jump the route and gr...

After losing two straight close games, with the offense stalling with a chance to take the lead, the Falcons have bounced back nicely with a 3 game win streak. Coach Chetty has talked about how his team needed a boost after their two dissapointing losses, including one to the insufferable Coach Hem in which Chetty has been quoted as saying "Coach Hem is the Rex Ryan of MBC and that's all I'll say about that". After a week 1 battle with the tough Vikings, Rams knew week 2 wouldn't be any easier against the high powered offense of the Bucs. Coming into week two the Bucs were number one in the league in offense and number two in defense. Rams knew they would have to try and slow down the big wideouts of Tampa. Most of the night they used a safety over top helping out the CB, but when they didn't they paid the price, as Vincent Jackson pulled in 3 catches for 134 yards and 1 TD. Rams defens...

Both defenses came out firing, giving everything they had as the Saints and Falcons beat up on eachother. Cameron Jordan led the way for the Saints defense with 3 first half sacks, which helped keep this defensive battle going well into the second half of the game. Unfortunately for the Saints, that dominance faded in the fourth quarter as the Falcons rallied to finish with 17 unanswered to steal victory 24-14.

The scoring was kicked off in the 2nd quarter, off of a 15 yard Bree...

Going in to week 1 coach Fisher expected his defense to carry this team, little did he know his RB Zac Stacy had plans of a monster day on the ground. Rams offensive line gave Stacy day light pretty much all game against the tough run defense of the Vikings. Stacy rumbled for 150 yards on 26 attempts and found the endzone 2 times on the afternoon. Rams added many pieces through free agency two of those players being the two oldest on the defensive side of the ball. Ed Reed (35 yrs old) and Dunta Robinson (32 yrs old). These two players might be the key to how far this team and defense can go, being in the tough and physical NFC West the Rams will need to match that physical presence if they want to have any chance in surviving. Coach Fisher will be depending on these two vets to take the Rams to the top. Rams start on that Journey w...
