Last night was the 2020 Draft in MBC. Many teams came in with high hopes of finding that franchise player to build their team around, others wanting to fill much needed holes. Either way , some came out feeling good about how they scouted and how the players fell to them, while others just missed the guys they really wanted 2 picks right in front of them. One thing is for sure, if you want a franchise guy , you better have a pick in the 1st round. Below is how many players teams picked in the top tier of players from the draft:
Bengals- 4
Panthers- 4
Vikings- 4
49ers- 3
Saints- 3
Lions- 3
Pats- 2
Dolphins- 2
Titans- 2
Browns- 2
Jags- 2
Texans- 2
Ravens- 2
Steelers- 2
Redskins- 2
Bears- 2
Bills -1
Jets- 1
Chiefs (cpu)- 1
Broncos- 1
Chargers- 1
Colts- 1
Eagles- 1
Cowboys - 1
Rams- 1
Buccs- 1
There was a total of 57 players 75 or above overall. The last draft had 57.
There was 8 Star, 15 Fast , 7 Slow projected Dev players. While the last Draft had 11 Star, 3 Fast , 5 Slow.
The Panthers wins the best draft award this year. But this one was tough to hand out. 3 teams picked 4 players in the top tier. The Bengals had 4 but 2 were slow dev. Vikings had 1 fast and 1 slow , Panthers had 1 star and 2 slow. So it was boardline a tie with Vikings and Panthers, but with the star player , it gives Panthers the nod.
