Free Agency Signings

The Bears traded with the Saints to move up six spots to 21st overall in the draft. The Bears gave up their Round 1 Pick 27 and Round 4 Pick 2 to make the trade. Costa looks to make an immediate impact and give the young Mitch Trubisky another reliable target.

The Bears started off shaky, quickly falling to a 0-17 deficit. Coach Alex  Brown calmed the team down and told them that they could still get the job done. The Bears were very active on the first day of free agency, signing veteran MLB Bobby Wagner and young QB Carson Wentz.

After finishing the Season 13-3 and earning a first round bye, the Chicago Bears hosted the Dallas Cowboys in the divisional round. The Bears' defense was yet again, the driving force behind a close Bears victory. 

The defense forced a quick 3-and-out on the Cowboys' opening possession. Ali Scott would score a few plays later on a long touchdown run. The Bears would then kick a field goal to make it 9-0 at the half.
