The Seahawks dominated for three and a half quarters until the Bears came roaring back in the 4th quarter to tie it up 30-30 with 11 seconds left in the game...then it happened...the infamous Windy City Walk-off. Pro-Bowl kick returner, Tyler “the Goon” Lockette worked his magic yet again. He took the ensuing kick-off back for a touchdown to go up 37-30 with 1 second left in the game. This would be the 3rd loss in a row for the Bears on the season, but they would not lose again…

Week 6 at Green Bay (CHI 28 - GB 6) (3-3)

The Bears had a commanding win on the road against their hated division rivals. Jordan Howard and Jake Brake lead the offense to a win along with three takeaways by the defense.

CPU Game

This was the most impressive defensive performance under Coach Fangio. The Redskins were held to 30 total yards. The Bears’ defense took the ball away 5 times. Akiem Hicks intercepted a QB pitch and returned it for a TD. Nick Kwiatkoski finished the game with three picks and earned NFC DPOW honors.

Week 9 Bye

Week 10 vs Lions (DET 16 - CHI 31) (6-3)

Week 11 vs New England (NE 9 - CHI 22) (7-3)

The Bears’ stout run defense held the Patriots to just 33 yards. Jake Brake and Howard again carried the offense to victory. This was a statement win for the Bears. It showed that they could match up the the best teams in the league.

Week 12 vs Minnesota (MIN 14 - CHI 17) (8-3)

Post-season

Wildcard Bye

Divisional vs Dallas (DAL 14 - CHI 15) (14-3)

This was the hardest fought victory for the Bears this season. The Bears went up 9-0 at half but forfeited the lead in the second half and trailed 14-9. The Cowboys drove into the Bears red zone but the whole game would change after that. Fangio send an all out blitz and Griffin Lovelocke forced a fumble on Prescott. Pernell McPhee recovered the fumble and carried it 60+ yards for the eventual game winning TD. This put the Bears up 15-14 with just over a minute left. Kyle Fuller picked off Prescott to secure the victory against the defending NFC champs.

NFC Championship at Arizona (CHI 45 - ARI 21) (15-3)

The Bears travelled to Arizona to avenge their regular season loss and make their way to the Super Bowl. The Bears’ defense mangled Josh Edmonds picking him off 4 times and sacking him 3 times. Two defensive TDs were scored and Michael McClain had his Dash Through the Desert to add insult to injury. The Bears’ dominating victory proved that they were clearly the best team in the NFC and would go to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2006.

Super Bowl vs Indianapolis (IND 26 - CHI 45) (16-3)

The game was very close for the first quarter and a half before the Bears went up 24-14 at half. The Bears defense dismantled the Colts offense taking the ball away four times.
