After finishing the Season 13-3 and earning a first round bye, the Chicago Bears hosted the Dallas Cowboys in the divisional round. The Bears' defense was yet again, the driving force behind a close Bears victory.

The defense forced a quick 3-and-out on the Cowboys' opening possession. Ali Scott would score a few plays later on a long touchdown run. The Bears would then kick a field goal to make it 9-0 at the half.

Following the halftime kickoff, Jordan Howard fumbled the ball on the second play of the drive. Dallas would score on consecutive drives and make the score 14-9. The Cowboys were in the redzone late in the 4th quarter when OLB Griffin Lovelocke sacked Prescott and forced a fumble. DE Pernell McPhee scooped it and returned it for the eventual gamewinning TD. Zach Miller failed to convert the 2 point conversion following the TD.

The Cowboys then had more than two min to get into field goal range and win the game. But Prescott was intercepted by Kyle fuller with just over 1:30 remaining in the game. The Bears were able to come away with a narrow victory and are set to travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals in the NFC Title Game.
