As the Giants look on to Week 6, a quick recap of this team's
Week 4 & 5 games:
Week 4 was against the Bears at home. After a close first quarter
with CHI leading 14-13, NYG would get hot in the second and third
quarter putting up another 28 to the Bears' 10. The game would go
on to finish 47-27 in New York's favor. Daniel Jones went 15/18 for
264 yds, 3 tds and a pick. The defense was locked in during passing
downs coming away with 5 ints, 3 sacks...
The Giants week 3 matchup against the Cowboys was about all that
you could hope for in a divisional rivalry game; passing yards, run
yards, key defensive plays, fourth down attempts, and a game
winning field goal in overtime.
During the first half of the game, we saw both teams trying to get
a feel for one another's style as we went into halftime with the
Cowboys trailing 14-7. The second half is where the game got really
interesting. Zeke decided that this wo...
After a solid week one game on the road, the Giants took on the
Carolina Panthers for the first home game of the season. What
ensued left many leaving the stadium early, as the home team lost
41-14 in what was a total blowout.
The show that Carolina put on both on offense and defense just
could not be matched. Daniel Jones started the game off looking
actually pretty decent on the first drive, until a redzone pass
that was picked off, and he just did not seem to shake that...
In a game that featured less than stellar QB play by both teams,
the Giants manage to put enough points together to come away with a
win.
Daniel Jones is arguably one of the most confusing players that
Coach Palpatine has seen. DJ will thread some needles, read and
respond to defenses, hit a perfectly placed 40 yarder, then miss a
three yard curl...Badly. That is not to take away anything from the
defensive game the Titans played, but worth bringing up. Jones'
