It has been a very humbling season so far for the Falcons.  More then just the loses, its been how they have lost.  But despite putting up a better effort in week 6, they still lost to the Packers 38-28.

QB Matt Ryan was better this week, but still threw 2 picks. included 1 in the red zone that may have cut the Packer lead to just 3 in the third quarter.  He still had 300+ yards passing and 3 tds, but still wasn't enough.   WR J Jones went for 6-100-...

The Falcons have dropped to 1-4 on the season and they have 2 really big questions to answer:  Fixing the run defense and fixing Matt Ryan.

Let's address the defense 1st.  In the last two games versus the Giants and 49ers, the Falcons have allowed Breida and Barkley run for over 600 yards.  And this was at home.  Thank goodness, due to Covid, only a few fans were in the stands to witness it live.  Otherwise, there might have been a riot.  <...

From the opening drive, you could tell things were just off for the Falcons.  On RB T Gurley's especially carry of the game, he seemingly had a hole to run through but for some reason lateraled the ball all the way back to QB M Ryan who was tackled for a 15 yard loss.  And even though on the very next play Ryan hit WR C Ridley for a 95 yard td, things still just did not feel right, especially on offense.

The Falcons bounce back from a last second heartbreaking loss to the Cardinals in week 1 and clip the wings of the Ravens 48-24 at home in MBS for Week 2.

In a rematch of last season 1st round playoff game were the Cardinals eliminated the Falcons 31-17 in Atlanta, this time the Falcons traveled to Arizona, but still fell 27-24 on a last second 50 yard field goal by Zane Gonzalez.
