It has been a very humbling season so far for the Falcons. More then just the loses, its been how they have lost. But despite putting up a better effort in week 6, they still lost to the Packers 38-28.
QB Matt Ryan was better this week, but still threw 2 picks. included 1 in the red zone that may have cut the Packer lead to just 3 in the third quarter. He still had 300+ yards passing and 3 tds, but still wasn't enough. WR J Jones went for 6-100-1. C Ridley 5-93-1 and T Gurley chipped in with 70+ on the ground and a touchdown.
On defense, while they wasn't getting gashed on the ground like in the last two games, they still allowed 150+ and 2 tds to WR D Adams and didn't turn the Packers over at all. The one pick LB F Oluokun was overturned with a pass interference call. Otherwise, the front 7 got not pressure on QB J Love and he was able to pick the secondary apart.
Back to the drawing board and another week of physical practice as the schedule doesn't get any easier with the L.A. Rams coming to town.
