Another 4 games, another 3 wins and 1 loss for the Packers to keep them at 1st place in the NFC North. The QB controversy has continued to rage, as both Love and Levingston have played well, although Love is still getting the vast majority of snaps at the position. HB Aaron Jones has yet to put up the rushing numbers per carry most expect of him, as he is dipped under 5 yards a rush. WR Will Washington continues his breakout season in his second year, leading the team in most receiving sta...

Another season, another seemingly competitive team in Green Bay. The Packers have gotten off to a solid start, going 3-1 in their first 4 games including 2 division wins against Detroit and Chicago. The most intriguing storyline of the season so far has been at QB, where incumbent Jordan Love and rookie Darnell Levingston have both received significant playing time. Both have played well, with Love putting together a QBR of 127.2 in his 3 starts and Levingston putting together a QBR of 137...

The Packers front office put together an interesting free agent and draft class. In free agency, the team was rumored to be interested in multiple big name defensive linemen, however ultimately settled on signing DL Larry Ogunjobi to a 1 year deal to help solidify the front 7. Both of the team's other signings came at the TE position, where they signed TE Trey Burton to a 1 year deal and relatively unknown TE Max McLaughlin to a 4 year deal, expressing confidence that these additions w...

The Packers comfortably took care of the Eagles in the wildcard round, winning 45-17. HB Aaron Jones had a game for the history books, rushing for over 200 yards and 3 TDs. Defensively, the team grabbed 2 INTs. Their run came to an end in the divisional round unfortunately, losing in a blowout to the Cowboys, 7-41. No true bright spots in this one, however Davante Adams did put up 99 yards and 1 TD. The team probably should have looked to stay with the running game, as Aaron Jones had 8 ca...

At the quarter point of the regular season, the Packers currently sit at 2-2 and tied for the lead of the NFC North. The team has been maddeningly inconsistent, at times looking dominant and at other times looking like a burning dumpster fire. In his first season as the starter, QB Jordan Love's play has followed a similar inconsistent pattern. Thankfully for the team and its fans, the team has been much better the last two weeks, winning two key divisional matchups against the Bears a...

Luck is no more in Indy. The prodigal son of Indy has left in the final season of Genesis Football, giving the spotlight to former AFC South foe, Deshaun Watson. "As a front office it's always difficult to let someone like Luck go. He means so much to this city and this ball club, but at the end of the day we have one goal in mind. Genesis Superbowl. We finally made it to the show and we laid an egg. Yes it wasn't all on Luck but we felt that we were finally a contender. Watson gives us lit...[ Continue reading ]
