With the Niners offense still looking for an identity the Defense took it on themselves to bring the team out of the darkness. After finding out Seattle only had one move, high and deep to Metcalf. A couple of adjustments and the Seattle offense was closed out in the 2nd half. Safety Hamilton continues to improve daily by leaps and bounds. The Linebackers are showing up and showing out. Forced fumbles, interceptions, the Defense came to play. It was a much needed pick me up as the Offense ...

Just when they wrote him off as washed up, Raheem Mostert shines with a 16 for 169 yards and 3 td game. After a sluggish start last week, Mostert was called out on the team Twitter page, questioning his heart. The old man can still get it as he broke off a 75 yard TD sprint. Raheem found himself in a duel with Joe Mixon for the Bengals as he eclipsed the 100 yard mark also. Both offensive units put on a show as they topped 400 yards each. Niners came with a balanced attack getting 232 yard...

Niners started off sluggish in this one as they attempted to share the wealth on the ground. San Fran topped 100 yards rushing for the game split amongst 4 HBs. Rookie Sturgeon led the way on 8 carries for 64yrds. Last seasons leading rusher Mostert picked up 36 yards on 7 runs. The biggest run came from WR THORNTON on a jet sweep that he took to the house on a 70 yard run down the right side. Niners passing game was not good as Bentley threw an early pick! Niners got the 1st touchdown of ...

In a game the Niners had to have, they didn't have it. Turnovers, bad play execution, dropped passes, you name it San Fran couldn't do it. QB Bentley may just not be the answer the front office had hoped for. The off season may see one of those 1st round picks go towards the future of the franchise. The ground game didn't show as Mostert was held in check, some unbelievable dropped passes by the rookie sensation Thornton didn't help matters much either. The defense didn'...

San Francisco continues to find new ways to lose games. While they could use injuries up front on the oline as an excuse, we won't. The next guy up gets payed millions also. The Niners seem stale in offense, don't forget mostert re-signed this off-season and as usual when guys get the money they struggle the next season. Is Bentley the answer? Yet another game where he missed open WR but finding DBs on the other team on throws he should be making. The defense is the only bright spo...

San Francisco couldn't get the restart right. A slow start on Offense leads to a terrible outing in the other battle of the bay. Mostert couldn't get anything going on the ground as the oline lost another member. Which totally killed the O. Wide receivers couldn't catch and the defense couldn't get off the field on 3rd down. The charger receivers came up with clutch catch after clutch catch on 3rd and long. Road victories have been few and far between this season. Niners st...

In an effort to keep pace with the Rams, San Fran needed to beat the Cards in a divisional game. Not unlike like the 1st meeting when the Niners needed a late rally in the 4th quarter and a last minute score to win the game. This one was over early as the Niners took the lead and never looked back. Mostert topped 100 yards again and QB Bentley had another good not great game . The defense however came up big when needed in an effort to keep the Cards at bay. Some key interceptions by the s...

After dropping a last minute game vs KC, the Niners needed to get back to basics and that all starts with the defense. With Tampa coming to town the defense knew big arm Josh Allen would be looking to show it off. Niners D was up for the challenge as they came away with 5 picks on the young QB, also holding him below 130 yards passing. San Fran shut down the Bucs offense, holding it below 200 yards for the game. Not to be left out the Niners offense played a well balanced game. Mostert chi...

Great Scott Batman! I have no words for what I just saw, when it was darkest in the night the only thing visible was a glimmer of hope. Ya I don't know what any of that means either. What I do know is that 2nd year man Jake Bentley is a mutha F'n Stud. Even after throwing what looked like a game ending 3rd pick the young QB stood tall in the pocket repeatedly to lead the Niners down the field to bring them back for the win! After a sluggish start, the man from Utah got dialed in, e...

Rookie WR Tyquan Thornton couldn't wait for training camp to start. He made all the off-season workouts, hit the weight room and called his new QB every day to talk routes. The off-season work seemed to pay off in the 1st game of the season as the rookie wideout pulled in 6 catches for a Buck30. Thornton wasn't able to find the endzone but his timely catches helped set up HB Mostert for 3td in the game. TE George Kittle picked up some much needed 3rd down conversions. The defense s...
