Rookie WR Tyquan Thornton couldn't wait for training camp to start. He made all the off-season workouts, hit the weight room and called his new QB every day to talk routes. The off-season work seemed to pay off in the 1st game of the season as the rookie wideout pulled in 6 catches for a Buck30. Thornton wasn't able to find the endzone but his timely catches helped set up HB Mostert for 3td in the game. TE George Kittle picked up some much needed 3rd down conversions. The defense stepped up to force 2 turnovers and helped put the game away in the 4th! Week 1 in the books, will take it. Didn't know what to expect with the huge losses on D this summer!
