It was a tale of two halves. Niners couldn't do anything right in the 1st half as the Cards raced out to a 20 - 3 halftime lead. Jimmie G. Even though Jimmy G. Threw for over 350 yards, it wasn't enough to overcome his 4 interceptions. The defense didn't live up to the hype either, giving up critical 1st downs after the team clawed back into the game.

The Niners kicked in the door last season but came up one overthrow short of bringing home the trophy. New coach, new owner same QB. Can Jimmy G.
