Great Scott Batman! I have no words for what I just saw, when it was darkest in the night the only thing visible was a glimmer of hope. Ya I don't know what any of that means either. What I do know is that 2nd year man Jake Bentley is a mutha F'n Stud. Even after throwing what looked like a game ending 3rd pick the young QB stood tall in the pocket repeatedly to lead the Niners down the field to bring them back for the win! After a sluggish start, the man from Utah got dialed in, ending the game with a personal best 520 yards and 4td! 98 of it came with their backs against the goal line and rookie WR Thornton able to shake free on a go that saw him come down with the pass and out run the DB to the house! Bentley finished with a 112.7 QBR on 25 of 37 passes. In the 1st half the Niners couldn't do anything right as they fell behind by 14 early. The coaches kept the players focused on their game plan to just keep playing. A pick 6 and a bomb to Hopkins had the limited Niners fans headed for the exit. Only to see them turn around in the parking lot as the Niners started a 26 point explosion in the 4th quarter. San Fran was able to complete the comeback with less than 30 seconds left in the game. Wow, just wow, the teams combined for over 1000 yards in this one. I see some much needed ice baths in the near future.
