The other day I put out a fast tier ranking for RZ users on Twitter, and didn't really spend any time doing any research. I see and hear that tier rankings are always a touchy subject so I thought it would be interesting to see how the league as a whole views each use for the cycle.

The Perfect Pick
Presented by: Kfox
Chicago Bears
Team Needs: DL, Secondary, C
Pick: 5th overall
Perfect Pick: CB Tyreke Watson, Utah State
When you look at this secondary, one of the biggest weaknesses is the lack of speed. 5th overall might be a little high for a CB, but the Bears have to seriously look into upgrading this area. Watson does not have elite size but makes up for it with his athletic ability.
Cincinnati Bengals
Team Needs: LB, CB, OL
Pick:10th overall
Perfect Pick: LB Dashuan Mobley, Texas
The word on the street is that Coach Moji cannot wait to get to this offseason and gut this defense. I fully expect a complete makeover and a ton of new faces on the defensive side of the ball. Dashaun Mobley offers elite size at 6’1 and 261 lbs. but don’t let that weight fool you, he plays fast for that size.
Buffalo Bills
Team Needs: T, EDGE, SS
Pick:13th overall
Perfect Pick: DL Keenan Gooden, Notre Dame
I honestly believe that this team will pick the best available defensive player on the board no matter the position after their defense gave up an average of 33+ points per game. Play Keenan Gooden inside or outside, it doesn’t matter. He has shown the athleticism to be a major force on all three downs.
Cleveland Browns
Team Needs: QB, G, WR
Pick:1st overall
Perfect Pick: QB Roman Crowder, Alabama
After trading the house this post season to move up to the 1st overall pick, Cleveland now has the chance to fill their biggest need and get Coach Longville his franchise QB. Right now Roman Crowder is the clear-cut top QB in the draft after his dominating performance vs LSU where he threw for 6 TD and 414 YDS.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Team Needs: QB, DL, LT
Pick: 26th overall
Perfect Pick: DL Andrew Brackett, Florida
Unfortunately for the Bucs the top three quarterbacks could be long gone by the 27th overall pick so I look for them to upgrade that position in free agency. Boosting a defensive line that’s likely to lose starters to free agency and retirement is paramount to the Buccaneers reloading this offseason. Plug Brackett into the 3-technique with Vita Vea on the nose and this could quickly become a dangerous line.
Arizona Cardinals
Team Needs: OL, IDL, HB
Pick: 27th overall
Perfect Pick: G Robert Swayne, Utah
Man, this offensive line is along one of the worst in the entire league which aloud Kyler Murray to be sacked 47 times. Robert Swayne is one the top IOL prospects in the draft. He is an athletic, versatile lineman who played has played all four positions up-front, which gives the Cardinals flexibility in how to deploy the five best lineman on the roster.
Los Angeles Chargers
Team Needs: G, T, LB
Pick: 25th overall
Perfect Pick: G Glenn Dodson, Auburn
The Chargers offensive line is expected to lose the starting guards via free agency this offseason. OL has not been a weak spot on this team but the front office would like to keep it that way and find these replacement guards fast. Glenn Dodson has the flexibility to play guard and potentially tackle in the league which is always a plus. He could be slotted in right away in week 1 and flourish.
Kansas City Chiefs
Team Needs: EDGE, CB, TE
Pick: 14th & 22nd overall
Perfect Picks: TE Deionte Leary, Louisville & CB Rudy Clement, Wyoming
With a pair of 1st round picks the Chiefs will look to fill some holes with immediate impact players. QB Pat Mahomes has stated multiple times that he wants the team to address the TE position ever since Travis Kelce left. Leary is a versatile, athletic tight end who I look for Coach Scott to fall in love with when the combine rolls around.
What Rudy Clement lacks in speed he makes up for in size at 6’3 194 lbs. Luckily coach loves his zone coverage which is a perfect fit for Rudy because that’s where he excels at.
Indianapolis Colts
Team Needs: DL, C, G
Pick: 9th overall
Perfect Pick: EDGE Cliff Barwin, Colorado
This defense lacks an elite presence on the EDGE. Kwity Paye & Frank Clark have their moments, but they are not long term answers. Cliff Barwin has exceled as a 4-3 defensive end in Colorado, at 6’6 and 277 lbs. he has the strength, motor, and length to be an impactful player right out of the gate.
Dallas Cowboys
Team Needs: OL, DL, LB
Pick: 74th overall
Perfect Pick: G Bradley Foster, USF
The days of the elite Dallas Cowboys offensive line are long gone. Zack Martin with his HOF career has been stuck with a below-average group for some time. Bradley Foster does not “wow” on tape, but he does have the physical tools and IQ to play guard at the next level with the right coaching.
Redzone Rookie Report
Presented by: Kfox
Good morning Redzone! I present to you the first volume of the Redzone’s rookie report where we will have different topics with every volume ranging from impactful rookies to scouting reports on the new incoming prospects.
I plan on dropping two-three of these reports a season, if you have any suggestions on content or just want to provide some feedback any and all would be greatly appreciated.
Season 71 draft was an eventful one to say the least. We had the Eagles who had three 1st round picks all in the top ten, the Jets drafting 17 total players throughout the draft, Bengals front office wheeling and dealing.
10 Impactful Rookies
10.) DT Rishard Perryman - Titans
11 TAK - 3 SCK
Season 71 had quite a few DT’s worthy of being selected in the first round. Perryman may have slipped down some boards a little bit with the other big name DT’s above him, but hey that worked out great for Tennessee because he is looking like a great fit on that defensive front.
9.) WR Emmett Wright - Eagles
24 REC - 393 YDS - 16.4 AVG - 4 TD
Wright was brought into a wide receiver group that was already heavy. I personally did not like this pick, but looks like I could be wrong down the road. Wright and Peterman are slowly working up a nice connection. Excited to see where this goes.
8.) QB Travis Peterman - Eagles
89/162 - 54.94% - 1,213 YDS - 10 TD - 16 INT
The Eagles are 1-4 and Peterman’s stats are not the greatest but I look for this ship to turn around soon. Peterman has proven he can throw the ball, now it’s time to bring everything together.
7.) DE Andrew Royals - Eagles
5 TAK - 4 SCK - 1 FF
This team has quite a bit of holes on this roster and did a good job of drafting to fix them. Royals has been playing since day one and have put up some numbers.
6.) DE Justin Locke - Chiefs
12 TAK - 4 SCK - 1 FF
Kansas City had one of the worst defensive units in all of redzone last year. The team spent a ridiculous amount of money to bring in EDGE Von Miller and used two first round picks on pass rushers.
5.) DE Zach Hobson - Falcons
9 TAK - 3 SCK - 1 FF - 1 TD
Atlanta could have gone multiple ways with the 2nd pick of the draft, but they stuck to their gut and went with the best player available on their board. Hobson has been putting up some nice numbers so far.
4.) OLB Christain Chamberlain - Cardinals
8 TAK - 3 SCK - 2 FF
Christain Chandler's sudden retirement really put a damper on things in Arizona. The team entered the offseason with legitimate pass rushers outside of J.J. Watt. Chamberlain has played every down as a rookie and is putting up some nice numbers.
3.) LB Clyde Macklin - Seahawks
33 TAK - 2 SCK - 1 INT
Seattle traded away veteran LB Bobby Wagner who has been the rock of that defense for the last couple of years. Macklin has stepped into that role nicely, it’s almost like Wagner never left.
2.) WR Jarred Hatchett - Giants
27 REC - 569 YDS - 21.1 AVG - 6 TD
I hated when the Giants traded up in the draft to pick number four, but man it is looking like it was a great move. The Giants have their new number one WR.
1.) LB Kordell Bayless - Rams
26 TAK - 2 SCK - 2 INT
Bayless was viewed by many as one of the best players in the class, Rams really got lucky that he fell all the way to pick #10.
QB Class Rankings
Below we are going to take a look at the QB classes of 2021 & 2020 and compare each 1st round QB’s rookie year:
2021
QB Trey Lance was the best out of this group (has the best supporting cast out of the others, so that definitely helps). Trevor Lawrence has been the greatest prospect since Andrew Luck, he is having some growing pains early in his career and has yet to live up to the hype.
2020
Joe Burrow’s rookie season ended short in Cincinnati due to the season-ending injury. Justin Herbert has gone down hill since his red-hot rookie campaign.
The 2021 class has the greater stats but that is due in part to playing time. It’s going to be interesting to watch these QB’s progress through the next 7-8 season’s in Redzone and see who will come out on top as the best quarterback.
Week one of Redzone season 71 is in the books! Here are seven of my top rookie performances in week one of season 71:
QB Travis Peterman – Eagles (L 35-38)
Drafted: 1st Pick, 1st Round
20/41 – 49% – 3 TD – 2 INT
WR Jarred Hatchett – Giants (W 43-25)
Drafted: 4th Pick, 1st Round
6 REC – 112 YDS – 2 TD
EDGE Andrew Royals – Eagles (L 35-38)
Drafted: 7th Pick, 1st Round
2 TAK – 2 SCK – 1 FF
LB Kordell Bayless – Rams (W 45-24)
Drafted: 11th Pick, 1st Round
3 TAK – 1 SCK – 2 INT
RB Sidney McKinley – Jets (L 7-30)
Drafted: 14th Pick, 1st Round
25 ATT – 136 YDS – 5.4 AVG – 1 TD
OLB Christian Chamberlain – Cardinals (L 17-21)
Drafted: 20th Pick, 1st Round
1 TAK – 1 SCK – 1 FF
(Note: 1st round players only)
Season 70 Mock Draft V1.2
Presented by: Kfox & Rfox
#1) New York Jets
WR Jarred Hatchett
HT: 6’3 - WT: 197 lbs - Age: 22 - College: Stanford
I fully expect the Jets to trade this pick before draft day, with a weak QB class I could see a team giving up quite a bit of capital to move up and take the one “decent” looking QB available.
Since we are not doing trades here I have the Jets taking one of the top weapons in the class. There were only two players on the Jets roster with more than 50 receptions; TE Jordan Mathews (80) & WR Elijah Moore (53). Hatchett shattered school records this year and this caliber player is exactly what the Jets need.
#2) Atlanta Falcons (3-14)
QB Travis Peterman
HT: 6’1 - WT: 219 lbs - Age: 22 - College: Ohio State
Record of 4-12 in 2020 and finished 2021 at 3-14. It is time for this Falcons rebuild to begin and why not start with the best QB in the nation? Travis Peterman from Ohio State.
Drafting a QB will not fix all of coach IJ’s problems, but it is a start. I do not see the Falcons finishing with a draft pick this high in the coming years so go ahead and get your guy while you can.
#3) Los Angeles Chargers
DT Ty McCullough
HT: 6’1 - WT: 303 lbs - Age: 21 - College: California
LAC has a lot of veterans leaving this team this offseason, one of those players happens to be 33 year old DT Linval Joseph. This is going to leave a huge whole in the middle of this defensive line.
DT Ty Mullough right now looks like the best interior defensive lineman and possibly one of the best players in the whole class. Pairing him up with dominant EDGE defender Joey Bosa could be scary.
#4) Philadelphia Eagles
DE Zach Hobson
HT: 6’2 - WT: 259 lbs - Age: 23 - College: USF
With Ryan Kerrigan & Derrick Barnett expected to hit free agency that leaves 35 year old Brandon Graham (who is entering his last year on his contract) and Josh Sweat (only recorded 5 sacks in 21’) left on the Eagles front line.
Zach Hobson fills a need and also happens to be the best player available. The only downfall is that he is 23 years old, not 100% sure that Coach Tauph will take a chance on an older player or not? I think once he scouts Hobson a little bit more he will fall in love.
#5) Jacksonville Jaguars
G Dane Richards
HT: 6’3 - WT: 337 lbs - Age: 21 - College: Washington
We all know Coach Him Juseman will be looking HEAVILY at the defensive players in this draft but G Dane Richards is too good to pass up! The front office committed to the full rebuild when the drafted QB Trevor Lawrence #1 last year, now it’s time to protect your investment.
Not much to say about Richards, he’s young and has great size. I see him being a day one starter.
#6) Dallas Cowboys
DE Andrew Royals
HT: 6’4 - WT: 250 lbs - Age: 21 - College: North Dakota St
Rumor has it that the front office is letting DE Randy Gregory and DT Brent Urban walk this offseason. This leaves two big holes on this defense.
Royals has great physical tools making him a work in progress type of pass rusher. He has been stuck playing weaker competition while at North Dakota State and is going to need to prove that he has what it takes to be a dominate edge rusher in the NFL.
#7) Denver Broncos
LB Cory Beech
HT: 6’1 - WT: 251 lbs - Age: 22 - College: Penn St
I really wanted to go QB here for the Broncos, but I believe that the staff will roll with Teddy Bridgewater one more year before looking for their replacement. With that being said I have them selecting LB Cory Beech out of Penn State to start this defensive rebuild. I could see this team going multiple routes in the first round. Currently the team is still coachless so it’s hard to tell what they’ll do.
#8) Pittsburgh Steelers
QB Michael Bethel
HT: 6’6 - WT: 235 lbs - Age: 23 - College: Virginia Tech
It’s not official yet but the word on the street is that QB Big Ben is going to announce his retirement in the next few weeks. Cam Newton & Dwayne Haskins also will not be returning.
Bethel might not be pro ready at QB and may require A LOT of work before he is ready to start in Red Zone but Coach Theo is in a tough spot where if free agency does not go right he may not have a choice with drafting him.
#9) Cleveland Browns
WR Emmett Wright
HT: 6’2 - WT: 205 lbs - Age: 22 - College: Oklahoma
Drafting a WR will not help Coach Longville and this team get any better. They currently have Jarvis Landry on the trade block, Rashard Higgins is not expected to return, and Odel is turning 30 with two years remaining on his deal.
Emmett Wright was voted the nation's best wide receiver for a reason. The kid has all the tools to be a great WR in redzone.
#10) Philadelphia Eagles (via IND)
CB Tyler Baker
HT: 6’0 - WT: 186 lbs - Age: 22 - College: Arizona St
The secondary is a major weak spot on this roster so any help added to this unit is a plus for this team. CB Darius Slay is 31 years old, Steven Nelson is not expected to return.
I gave the Eagles one of the top pass rushers in the draft earlier and now I give them one of the top corners, not bad of a draft so far if your Coach Tauph.
#11) Detroit Lions (via LAR)
WR Darren Burgess
HT: 6’2 - WT: 204 lbs - Age: 22 - College: Washington
All you have to do is go look at this team's current WR’s and you will see why I am drafting one. Currently the teams top four WR’s are not expected to return in 2022. Quintez Cephus is expected to be the team’s number one wide out in 22’. I was a very big fan of him coming out of Wisconsin but I am not sure the Lions coaching staff feels the same way. He recorded 0 receptions in 2021.
Burgess has a good mix of size/speed and showed big play potential towards the end of the year for the Badgers.
#12) Philadelphia Eagles (via MIA)
G Marc Ricci
HT: 6’6 - WT: 330 lbs - Age: 21 - College: Washington St
Eagles QB’s were sacked a total of 46 times this past season. Guard Brandon Brooks is going to be 34 years old and Landon Dickerson could be playing better.
Marc Ricci could possibly be viewed by some as the best offensive lineman in the class.

Madden 22
Season One Predictions
Welcome to my Madden 22 season one predictions!
I tried to assign teams based on everyone’s favorite team, for the most part I was successful. There are a few cases where I had three users that are a fan of the same team (Cowboys & 49ers). At the time of writing this there wasn't enough users to cover all 32 spots so I had to get bring some people in that I am not sure about (Jake, Kad, Eikam, & Ernest)
I went through every team's 2022 schedule and predicted the outcome of every single game. Attached below is a link to the google sheets if you want to see how I predicted every game for the year.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qwZqrnIC0RjqYlZDilwAIgPPru4TCBv7GkY4eBoXwYs/edit?usp=sharing
Let's get started!
AFC South
1. Jacksonville Jaguars - Montguhmery (8-9)
2. Indianapolis Colts - Rfox (7-10)
3. Tennessee Titans - JP (6-11)
4. Houston Texans - Beech (4-13)
Montguhmery has a bright future in Red Zone and I see him making some great strides heading into Madden 22. I see him sneaking a few surprising wins sometime during the first season while barely winning the division title. The AFC South does not have a top user so really this division is up for grabs and could come down to the final weeks of play.
AFC North
1. Ravens - Ramesu (13-4)
2. Browns - Kad (9-8)
3. Steelers - Longville (6-11)
4. Bengals - Beat (5-12)
I have Ramesu tied for the best record in the AFC at 13-4. Longville is going to need a few seasons to get the Steelers the way he wants them and Kad coming out of retirement might be a little rusty. Nine wins for Kad might be a little too generous, but hey you never know.
AFC East
1. New York Jets - Moji (13-4)
2. Miami Dolphins - Jim (12-5)
3. Buffalo Bills - Andy (9-8)
4. New England Patriots - Weatherbeast (4-13)
I have played with Weatherbeast in leagues in previous Maddens and he was always a top user, but he is going to need some more time getting used to things again before he can even think about getting back his old self. Moji tied for first in the AFC with Ramesu, not much to say there as he has a very favorable schedule. I think Jim comes firing out of the gates with a chip on his shoulder and gives Moji a nice run but barely missing out on the division title. Andy is the true wild card here, while I don’t think he will be ready to take the division yet. I do think he will be able to sneak a win in here and there against Moji and Jim.
AFC West
1. Las Vegas Raiders - BlackMagic (12-5)
2. Kansas City Chiefs - White Greg (10-7)
3. Los Angeles Chargers - Kfox (6-11)
4. Denver Broncos - Eikam (4-13)
BM has shown he can be a playoff team every year and White Greg is up and coming…. Finally. This division should be a shootout between WG and BM while Kfox fights off whoever fills in for Eikam for third place.
NFC North
1. Minnesota Vikings - Adel (12-5)
2. Chicago Bears - Spittah (11-6)
3. Green Bay Packers - Pat (8-9)
4. Detroit Lions - Wa Chin Yu (0-17)
Nothing new here as Adel sits atop the division. Spittah could pose a threat for him since Adel hasn't had much competition in the past in his division. Wa Chin Yu, don’t know much about him but if there was going to be an 0-17 guy it has to be him.
NFC South
1. New Orleans Saints - Spencer (13-4)
2. Carolina Panthers - Astin (12-5)
3. Atlanta Falcons - Theo (7-10)
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Glenn (2-15)
I think this is the cycle where Spencer takes the leap, do I think he is better than Astin even though the record suggests it? No I do not. This division should be a battle between Spence and Astin for the whole cycle. I am really rooting for Theo to take the next step and maybe force himself in the number two spot. Glenn, I really didn’t want to do that to you man but you’ve given me no choice. Hopefully now that you have an ethernet cable things will get better.
NFC East
1. Dallas Cowboys - IJ (11-6)
2. Philadelphia Eagles - Metal (10-7)
3. Washington Football Team - Jake (10-7)
4. New York Giants - Robomonkey (4-13)
Assuming IJ and Metal come into Madden 22 where they left off they shouldn’t have any problems racking up some wins and start fighting for the division title. I don’t know much about Jake, I am assuming that since he has been here forever that he is somewhat decent at Madden and shouldn’t have an issue winning 10 games.
NFC West
1. Seattle Seahawks - Roc (12-5)
2. Arizona Cardinals - Kelly (11-6)
3. San Francisco 49ers - KingJohn (11-6)
4. Los Angeles Rams - Ernest (11-6)
This division would be the most competitive one in all of Madden 22. I don’t have much to say and honestly would have no idea how this would play out. I could see KJ having a fall off without the user dline but would love to see Roc step up and keep Ernest/KJ/Kelly all at bay.
Kfox’s Final 2026 RZ Mock Draft
#1 New England Patriots
DE Layne Godwin - Wisconsin
HT: 6'2 WT: 264 lbs
The Patriots do not have much of an EDGE threat outside of Rashaun McGee. He's not much of a threat anyways, racking up only five sacks and 11 TFL this past season.
Godwin is the clear-cut best player in this draft and New England can't go wrong with selecting him to pair up opposite of McGee. The combine was a blessing for him causing him to shoot up the draft board and securing himself as the top talent.
#2 Seattle Seahawks
QB Matt Griffith - Texas Tech
HT: 6'0 WT: 234 lbs
With a disappointing two-win season the Seahawks find themselves sitting at the top of the draft. QB Russell Wilson turned down the team's contract offer leaving the team with a huge hole on the roster.
This offseason Seattle signed QB Carson Wentz to a 1yr/$32M deal. Wentz still has some gas left in the tank and hasn't regressed much after his poor stint in New England.
Griffith is a sure-fire lock for Seattle giving them a potential franchise QB to play with during the rest of the cycle. He will need some time to adjust to the pros and that's okay because Wentz will be able to hold things down until he is ready.
#3 Las Vegas Raiders
DE Kazeen Cloud - Wisconsin
HT: 6'3 WT: 276 lbs
Like I stated in my first mock draft of the season this team is way better on paper than their record shows. I previously mocked them a defensive end and plan on sticking with it. The current two starters Collin Bryant and Brian Torrence combined for a total of 7.5 sacks last season.
Cloud would come in and start right away for this team replacing most likely Bryant. He is still a little raw and needs to work on his pass-rushing moves for the pros but his physical traits are fantastic with some solid speed, nice strength, and is pretty agile for 276 lbs.
#4 Chicago Bears
CB Najee Barlow - Purdue
HT: 6'1 WT: 194 lbs
The Bears entered free agency needing some desperate help at cornerback. For some odd reason, they signed Desmond King to a 2yr/$12.4M deal (83 SPD).
Barlow would come in starting opposite of Jaylon Johnson giving them a nice one-two tandem in the secondary. He has a Heisman trophy and a great combine performance on his belt. Bears fans should be excited to see him fall in the team's lap.
#5 Buffalo Bills
T Gavin Hedgecock
HT: 6'3 WT: 321 lbs
Currently, the team does NOT have a starting left tackle after losing Dion Dawkins to free agency. This offense has the potential to be a great one in Red Zone but not without an offensive line to protect their quarterbacks who were sacked 53 times this past season.
This draft class is very weak at the offensive line position, the Bills should reach and take a chance on Hedgecock or look for a trade down. He is the only lineman I have a first-round grade on, should be able to play any position on that line with ease.
#6 Green Bay Packers
WR Victor Haden - Colorado
HT: 6'4 WT: 227 lbs
The Packers moved on from WR Devante Adams this season and are now stuck without a clear cut number one wideout for young QB Nathan Sheldon.
Haden has a big body and some decent speed to go along with it. Selecting Haden allows the offense to not have to rely on 31-year-old running back Aaron Jones as much. The NFC North is the most competitive division in all of Red Zone, it's up for grabs every season so the Packers need to stay strong offensively.
#7 San Franciso 49ers (via DET)
DT Sidney Haywood - Virginia Tech
HT: 6'4 WT: 317 lbs
The interior of this defensive line is the weakest link on the whole roster. I do not believe that Chance Flynn is the answer and should find a replacement ASAP.
Haywood was a monster in the trenches for Virginia Tech. He has a great blend of strength and athleticism, drafting him will allow Nick Bosa to be freed up from a lot of the double teams he receives.
#8 Cincinnati Bengals
DE Chris Shields - Boston College
HT: 6'6 WT: 270 lbs
Something is going on with veteran pass rusher Carl Lawson. He went from 27 sacks two seasons ago to six this past season. Opposite of him is Adrian Bentley who amassed a whopping total of 1.5 sacks.
Drafting Shields is a safe pick just incase Lawson continues his downward spiral. The draft class is LOADED with EDGE talent this year, Shields is arguably one of the best.
#9 Jacksonville Jaguars
S Jeremiah Hyde - Texas Tech
HT: 5'9 WT: 213
The team's starting safety is getting old and slow (86 SPD) plus entering the last year of his contract. This is another team with a great roster, not sure how they managed to end up with a top 10 pick.
Don't let Hyde's size fool you, he can play some football. Athletic and has great open field awareness. At this point, Hyde is not an upgrade over Ronnie Harrison but could eventually replace him if he plays poorly this season.
#10 Washington Football Team
LB Danny Woodard - Flordia
HT: 6'4 WT: 246 lbs
This was a tough pick to make! There aren't very many holes along in this roster outside of upgrading one of the linebacker positions. LB Cole Holcomb is entering the last year of his deal and is 30 years old.
Woodard dominated the SEC while he was in Flordia. Drafting him allows the team to slowly move on from Holcomb next season. Woodard could earn some snaps sitting behind him and slowly start to take over.
#11 Cleveland Browns
WR Luis Colon - Auburn
HT: 6'3 WT: 222 lbs
Want to know who the Brown's number one wide receiver is? Preston Williams lmao. Williams has had one 'okay' year with Miami but only has one season out of his eight where he caught more than 50 balls.
Colon is the second-fastest receiver in the draft, also has some great ball skills. Drafting Colon should be able to take the Browns to the Superbowl.
#12 Los Angeles Rams
TE Rick Ford - Washington
HT: 6'5 WT: 235 lbs
The Rams signed QB Russell Wilson to a one-year $20M deal (Crazy that he accepted that after Seattle offered him $25M+. No loyalty anymore). Hopes of making a playoff run the Rams need to surround Wilson with as much talent as possible.
Ford may be listed as a tight end but I classify him as an offensive weapon. Amazing hands, big size, very athletic. Should be able to step right in and become Wilson's new red zone target.
#13 Miami Dolphins
CB Isiah Fletcher - LSU
HT: 6'1 WT: 192 lbs
Trying to get out from under the Jets shadow the Dolphins are wheeling and dealing trying to improve this roster. The team just traded for EDGE rusher TJ Watt to pair up with Maxx Crosby.
Draft Fletcher and continue building up a tough defense. Fletcher has the potential to be a day one starter. Solid man coverage and blazing fast speed.
#14 New Orleans Saints
LB Michael Fox - Columbia
HT: 6'2 WT: 228 lbs
The Saints could go a few ways here since they have a few holes across the roster. Looking at the roster on paper LB looks to be the weakest link with 31-year old Alex Anzalone & below-average Romeo Ellerbe starting.
Fox brings new life to this linebacker corp. Don't sleep on him since he played for a small school like Columbia, he's got all the tools to step in and play day one.
#15 Carolina Panthers
TE Marco Burke - Californa
HT: 6'2 WT: 245 lbs
Currently, the team sits without a starting tight end. Young QB Alex Sullivan needs all the help he can get
Marco comes in and immediately gives Sullivan a big red zone target and potential number ONE target. He also isn't scared to do some blocking as he has had great success doing that out in Cali.
#16 Dallas Cowboys
DE Josh Walters - Penn State
HT: 6'4 WT: 275 lbs
Have to go with the BPA approach here. Josh Walters is a top-five talent who is sliding in this mock, Jerry Jones and WG would be crazy not to draft him here.
Walters would go into battle against Sheldon Ellington and DeSean Sheppard for a starting spot. He is one of the most well-rounded pass rushers in this draft.
#17 Los Angeles Chargers
HB Tyron Crockett - Oregon State
HT: 5'11 WT: 203 lbs
Easy pick here! I am not sold on HB Bryon Gray being the team's workhorse number one back and I am not sure the coaching staff is either.
Crockett shot up draft boards with a strong season at Oregon State making him the clear number one back in the class. He is a very well-rounded back with great vision and ball control.
#18 Indianapolis Colts
DE Jason Burnett - Wisconsin
HT: 6'1 WT: 262 lbs
Burnett is not a lock for the first round but he is one of a handful of pass rushers that has the potential to land there. Indianapolis is desperate to add a pass rusher opposite Pat Woods.
#19 Seattle Seahawks (via TB)
S Antonio Frazier - Michigan
HT: 6'0 WT: 212 lbs
Seattle traded away S Jamal Adams this past season and now they land his replacement.
Frazier is a well-balanced safety who has no problem covering the whole field or coming up in the box to make some tackles. He should have no problem starting in this weak secondary.
#20 New York Giants
CB Travis Peters - Stanford
HT: 6'3 WT: 181 lbs
Noah Igbinoghene is THE cornerback on this team, that's it. The Giants must look to the draft on finding some starters/depth for the position.
Peters might be a little bit of a reach here in the first round but he is the best corner available at this time. Great height for a corner and some solid athleticism to go along with it.
#21 Dallas Cowboys (via HOU)
T Damien Crisp - Nebraska
HT: 6'5 WT: 317
The offensive line is a weak spot on this roster. In a division loaded with talent spread across the defensive lines, this needs to be a top priority for the team.
Crisp being only 22 years old is nice and he should be able to be a solid tackle for Dallas the rest of the cycle.
#22 Baltimore Ravens
CB Edward Spence - Texas A&M
HT: 6'3 WT: 184 lbs
The secondary for Baltimore is already an elite unit, I couldn't help but make them stronger by giving them another starting-caliber cornerback.
Spence is a tall corner with average speed, not the best in man coverage but can play zone well.
#23 Tennesee Titans
HB Dwayne Stockton - SMU
HT: 5'11 WT: 185 lbs
The Titans made some big moves this offseason by trading for T Orlando brown and signing veteran TE Travis Kelce. Make that offense even stronger by selecting a new running back.
Stockton could come in and split carries with Jermone Townsend taking this offense to another level. He is the opposite type of back that Townsend so they would complement each other very well.
#24 San Fransico 49ers
WR Cameron Winter - Kansas State
HT: 6'5 WT: 230 lbs
This offense is ELITE! Lamar Jackson, Gerald Blaylock, & George Kittle. I have them adding a new weapon to this team to pair up with Deebo Samuel.
Winter is a big guy standing at 6'5 & 230 lbs, but he moves pretty well for that size. This guy has the next Rich Walker written all over him.
#25 Minnesota Vikings
LB Grant Billups - Richmond
HT: 6'2 WT: 234 lbs
Linebacker is a weak spot for this Vikings team. Not much depth outside of Darron Lee.
Billups is an immediate upgrade over whoever this team planned to start opposite of Lee. He's a fast linebacker who has no problem running sideline to sideline.
#26 Denver Broncos
DE Cordale Meekins - Flordia State
HT: 6'4 WT: 271 lbs
Rumors are that Denver's front office and the coaching staff are pretty happy with their roster and they intend to take the best player available approach.
Meekins is the best player available. He's a top 10 talent who happens to be falling due to the loaded defensive end class. Where do you play him on this stacked front? I have no idea, but I am sure Coach Astin will find a way.
#27 Arizona Cardinals
DE Matt Gholston - West Virginia
HT: 6'4 WT: 265 lbs
The Cardinals have been lacking an EDGE talent for a few years now. They are in luck because they are having a top 15 prospect fall in their lap.
Gholston is a little raw but plays with a lot of power in his game. Let him and Marquez Conley battle it out for the starting spot.
#28 San Fransico 49ers (via PIT)
T Alex Marshall - Michigan State
HT: 6'4 WT: 336 lbs
If I am the 49ers staff I am not feeling safe going into the year with Gary Paulsen starting at left tackle.
Marshall can easily replace him and add some much-needed protection for Lamar so hopefully, he can quit scrambling for his life.
#29 San Fransico 49ers (via KC)
CB Ja'Marr Walters - Flordia State
HT: 5'10 WT: 194 lbs
Surprised that Stephon Gilmore didn't retire this offseason, but regardless it never hurts to get stronger in the secondary.
#30 Atlanta Falcons
DE Isac Weston - Texas A&M
HT: 6'5 WT: 275 lbs
This was a hard team to make a pick for, this roster is stacked with talent all over and has very few holes.
One thing it does lack is an ELITE pass rusher, Weston has the potential to be that.
#31 Seattle Seahawks (via PHI)
DE Marurice Hazelton - Rice
HT: 6'5 WT: 255 lbs
Reggie McDonald is a nice pass rusher but this team needs more help.
#32 Seattle Seahawks (via NYJ)
WR Cory Whittaker - Washington State
HT: 5'11 WT: 195 lbs
Whoever is starting at QB whether it be Wentz or Griffith needs some weapons to throw to. Devante Adams was signed in the offseason but he's not a long-term answer.
Whittaker can bring some explosiveness to this offense.
Kfox’s Way to Early RZ Mock Draft
*Draft order is generated based on the "Draft Picks" tab under the ream roster section.*
Here is a way to early RedZone mock draft. Running out of time I got a little sloppy with my grammer and write-ups but hope you all still enjoy!
#1 New England Patriots
RE - Kazeen Cloud - Wisonsin - 6'3 - 276 lbs
Defensive line is the worst looking unit on this Patriots team. It doesn't help that two of the best players on the defensive line are not under contract for next season (Frank Clark & Rashaun McGee).
This draft class is loaded with EDGE talent but Cloud sets at the top and is viewed by most as the best player in the draft. Selecting him will add a much needed presence along the line.
#2 Seattle Seahawks
QB - Matt Griffith - Texas A&M - 6'0 - 234 lbs
It's looking like the Hawks & Patriots will be batteling it out this season for the number one pick, right now now both teams are sitting winless.
The Seahawks new front office/coaching staff are entering full rebuild mode this season. The team is currently a nursing home with an average age of around 28-29 years old on the roster. What better way to kick it off than selecting the new franchise QB to be the heir apparent to Russell Wilson?
#3 San Fransico 49ers (via DET)
S - Jeremiah Hyde - Texas Tech - 5'9 - 213 lbs
49ers lucked out last season trading down with the Lions, now they currently hold the number three pick in this draft. Looking at niners current roster the offense looks set for years to come outside of the offensive line needing some upgrades. On defense the saftey position is by far the weakest link, both starters (Tarvarius Moore & Jaquiski Tartt) are both on expiring contracts and are not looking like they are deserving of an extension.
Hyde is on the smaller side for a saftey, I do not think he will be your protypical in the box saftey but I think he can have very good success in the NFl as a deep zone saftey with top notch speed and atheleticism.
#4 Oakland Raiders
RE - Chris Shields - Boston College - 6'6 - 270 lbs
On paper this team is a lot better than their record shows. Not a whole lot of needs on the offense side of the ball, the team could look to bring in a new WR to pair up with Henry Ruggs since four of their top five guys are on expiring deals. I look for them to fix that issue in free agency and instead look to shore up that defensive line in a loaded class.
Shields is arguably the best EDGE player in the draft. He is a very versitile player able to move anywhere along that front and have success. RE Brian Torrence needs some help along that line, drafting Shields will sure free up Torrence to start wrecking havoc.
#5 Miami Dolphins
WR - Victor Haden - Colorado - 6'4 - 227 lbs
Offensivly this team has got it going on, very little needs and star talent everywhere.
I have the Dolphins adding another big body receiver for QB Tua Taovailoa. Preston Williams spent most of last season hurt and he's not getting any older. Williams has only had one season with 50+ catches in his 6yr career.
Haden is the perfect replacement for Williams, big body and very athletic.
#6 Buffalo Bills
LT - Alex Marshall - Michigan State - 6'4 - 336 lbs
Josh Allen needs some new protection in Buffalo, he has been sacked a total of 14 times so far this season which is unacceptable.
Selecting LT Alex Marshall allows the team to move on from T Dion Dawkins who is on an expiring contract and has not progessed much through his 8 year career. Marshall is the sure fire top offensive lineman in this class.
#7 Los Angeles Rams
WR - Luis Colon - Auburn - 6'3 - 222 lbs
This Rams team has been searching for their franchise QB for years now, and it looks like they will be missing out on one yet again forcing them to go the best player available route. I feel like this team's success relys on the the defense and with Aaron Donald turning 35 this next year I almost mocked his replacement but instead went with a WR due to an aging unit there.
Selecting Colon adds some youth to this old WR unit. Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, and Devante Parker are all going to be 33 years old next season. This team needs to be ready when they finally find their franchise QB.
#8 Chicago Bears
DT - Sidney Haywood - Virginia Tech - 6'4 - 317 lbs
I do not expect Chicago to bring back DT Eddie Goldman this offseason. From what I can tell it looks like he was hurt the last two seasons or he just under performed that much.
Selecting the best interior defensive lineman in the draft is a a safe pick for the Bears. Haywood has great athleticism and stregnth for his size and should be able to slide wherever the coach wants along that front.
#9 Minnesota Vikings
HB - Dwight Miller - Virginia Tech - 5'11 - 208 lbs
The Vikings have rode on the back of Dalvin Cook for the last 8 season, I think it's time for the team to look forward in a new direction. Cooks will be 31 next season and will be asking for a lot of money.
Dwight Miller is the best back in this class, his play style is very similar to Cook's so the Vikings coaching staff should love that!
#10 Cincinnati Bengals
LG - Gavin Hedgecock - LSU - 6'3 - 321 lbs
The Bengals could go multiple routes this draft, I have them going best player available and seleting G Gavin Hedgecock to come in and replace againg DJ Fluker.
Playing in a tough user d-line division the Bengals can't go wrong on improving that weak offensive line in any way that they can.
#11 Green Bay Packers
HB - Dwayne Stockton - SMU - 5'11 - 185 lbs
Almost the same situation as division rival Minnesota Vikings, the Packers have rode on the back of HB Aaron Jones for the last 8 years. Jones will be 31 years old this next season and also on the last year of his deal.
In a division that's always up for grabs you can't go wrong with bringing in offensive talent to score more points. Stockton is a little smaller than the typical running back but his speed and athleticism is top notch.
#12 Jacksonville Jaguars
RE - Josh Walters - Penn State - 6'4 - 275 lbs
The staff in Jacksonville has developed this defensive unit really well over the years. I look for them to continue building towards the success of this defense. Yannick Ngakoue is 30 years old and on the last year of his contract for a team that is strapped for cash I look for them moving on from him after this season.
Who better to to replace Yannick other than EDGE defender from Penn State Josh Walters? Walters isn't as athletic as Yannick but he does have a way bigger frame and more stregnth. Walters is the second player on the default big board rankings so this is very good value.
#13 New York Jets (via PHI)
HB - Tyrone Crockett - Oregon State - 5'11 - 203 lbs
I am not sure what's going on in the Jets running back room but the top three guys will be over the age of 31 next season. Sure to some running backs don't matter and they may not to the Jets user. But I am still new and don't know everyone's views just yet.
I think it is time to find a new running back. The team has a young QB, nice WR's, and an okay offensive line so why not look to evolve that offense?
#14 Cleveland Browns
RT - Damien Crisp - Nebraska - 6'5 - 317 lbs
Every position on this Browns offensive line could be upgraded except LT. The Browns play in a tough user d-line division, you can not go wrong with any offensive line pick here.
Drafting Crisp allows you to let go of 33 year old RT Rob Havenstein and plug him in immediately there. Crisp also played every where along that Nebraska oline so the Browns can kick him inside if needed.
#15 San Fransico 49ers
TE - Rick Ford - Washington - 6'5 - 235 lbs
Retirement rumors are stirring up about George Kittle who will be turning 32 years old this offseason. Kittle has been such a BIG part of this niners offense, he has amassed 1,000+ yards each season of his NFL career exepct for two.
The front office couldn't be more excited with the number one tight end in the draft still avaiable at pick 15. Ford can do it all from blocking to lining up out wide, he has great hands and athleticism for his size.
#16 Tennesee Titans
LE - Jason Burnett - Wisconsin - 6'1 - 262 lbs
The Titans have a really well built roster and are in a great spot to draft best player available here or trade down. Since I am not doing any trade downs I have them selecting the 7th ranked player on the default draft board in pass rusher Jason Burnett.
Burnett is smaller than what the Titans like on their defensive line but I think this could be a good thing for them to add a little versatility.
#17 Dallas Cowboys
CB - Najee Barlow - Purdue - 6'1 - 194 lbs
The Cowboys staff would love to find their new quarterback here with Dak's contract expiring. They are going to have to look elsewhere for that since there isn't any QB's worth drafting available.
The team cannot go wrong with selecting Purdue's star cornerback Najee Barlow. Chidobe Awuzie is on tha last year of his deal and will be 31 years old this offseason. In a division that has Stephon Diggs, Terry Mclaurin, & Darius Slayton Dallas needs to stay on top of keeping that secondary top of the line.
#18 New York Jets
TE - Marco Burke - Californa - 6'2 - 245 lbs
Five picks before this I had the Jets selecting their running back of the future now I have them going offense yet again by selecting TE Marco Burke from Cali.
Zach Ertz is most likely retiring this offseason leaving a big hole on that roster. Burke has great size and can block very well which is a great sign for their new runningback.
#19 Seattle Seahawks (via TB)
LB - Michael Fox - Columbia - 6'2 - 228 lbs
I have a very hard time seeing Coach Fox passing on his own son Michael Fox from the University of Columbia. Seattle will be in full rebuild mode for the next few years, they selected their franchise QB with the second overall pick so they cannot go wrong with picking a possible defensive leader on the opposite of the ball.
#20 Washington Football Team
LB - Danny Woodard - Flordia - 6'4 - 246
This Washington Football Team roster is top notch around the league, very few holes. Linebacker has to be the weakest leak looking at it on paper.
I have them selecting LB Woodard out of Flordia to come in and be the new middle linebacker on this already stackecd defense. Anthony Barr & Shaq Thompson are getting old and are not the answers looking forward.
#21 San Fransico 49ers (via KC)
DT - Joel Anderson - Michigan - 6'4 - 291
I am getting tired writing about this 49ers squad.
With their third pick in the first round I have them selecting DT Joel Anderson from Michigan. This pick might be a little bit of a reach but this allows the team who is VERY strapped for cash to move on from interior defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt.
Anderson is a great 3-tech interior guy who should have no problem playing beside star player Nick Bosa.
#22 Atlanta Falcons
LE - Layne Godwin - Iowa State - 6'2 - 264 lbs
Atlanta two staring pass rushing outside linebackers are both on the last year of their deals. I don't see the staff bringing one of them back in the offseason.
Layne Godwin should be able to transisiton from 4-3 end to 3-4 outside linebacker with ease and plug into a starting role no problem. Godwin is also the 8th ranked player on the default draft board so this is very good value if he truly falls this far.
#23 New York Giants
CB - Isiah Fletcher - LSU - 6'1 - 192 lbs
The Giants have a lot of expiring contracts in that cornerback room with only one player under contract past next season.
Fletcher is a great corner who can come in and play in the number one spot in a division with some nice wide recievers. He went up against great competition playing in the SEC so he seems to be very pro ready.
#24 New Orleans Saints
LE - Cordale Meekins - Flordia State - 6'4 - 271 lbs
This roster has been lacking a top EDGE threat for a few season now. With Christopher Logan on the last year of his deal I do not see the team retaining him since they are in bad cap trouble.
Meekins really became big name in Flordia playing in the SEC, I see him coming in and starting day one on that defensive front.
#25 Indianapolis Colts
RE - Matt Gholston - West Virginia - 6'4 - 265 lbs
Just like the team above in this mock draft, the Colts have lacked a talented EDGE player for some time now. The Colts offense is STACKED but that defense is a little iffy.
Gholston may not be ready right away but eventually he should be able to come in and replace four year player Jonathan Bowden on that line and provide some nice pressure up front.
#26 Los Angeles Chargers
WR - Grant Hendricks - UCF - 5'9 - 184 lbs
Chargers traded away WR Keenan Allen early this season and have WR Mike Williams on the last year of his current deal, this leaves a big hole at receiver for this offense.
Drafting Hendricks would have me give the Chargers an "A" for this pick. He is one of the most explosive players in this class which would become a HUGE weapon for Justin Herbert. Doesn't have the size but sure makes up for it with everything else he does well.
#27 Baltimore Ravens
S - Antonio Frazier - Michigan - 6'0 - 212 lbs
Saftey is looking like one of the biggest needs on this roster if Malik Hooker & Landon Collins are not resigned this season.
Frazier is your more balanced saftey who can do it all... and well!
#28 Dallas Cowboys (via HOU)
LB - Joshua Harriott - Oklahoma - 6'2 - 250 lbs
With this pick the Cowbosy continue adding pieces to their defense by selecting Joshua Harriott from Oklahoma. I had them selecting a starting corner with their first pick in the first round and Harriott has the potential to come in and start right away replacing Jaylon Smith if he is not resigned.
Harriott is a true 43 pass coverage linebacker who has the ability to run sideline to sideline with ease adding much needed athleticism to this defense.
#29 San Fransico 49ers (via PIT)
CB - Travis Peters - Stanford - 6'3 - 181 lbs
So far the niners have selected a S, TE, & DT in this mock. Selecting Travis Peters from Stanford adds more youth to this defense.
Stephon Gilmore retirement rumors are starting, so bringing in Peters is a solid choice.
#30 Carolina Panthers
CB - Edward Spence - Texas A&M - 6'3 - 184 lbs
In a division that is loaded at the wide receiver position drafting Edward Spence is not a bad idea if they want a chance to continue their success.
Spence could start opposite of star Donte Jackson potentially replacing Chris Robertson since he is on the last year of his deal. Even if they do decide to resign Robertson its still not a bad idea drafting Spence.
#31 Denver Broncos
DT - Nate Gardner - Alabama - 6'4 - 304 lbs
The Broncos EDGE defenders are great but the interior line could use another piece to go alongside Terrelle Bozeman.
Gardner is your typical 3-tech DT who plays wih great size and power. Can't go wrong with an Alabama defensive lineman.
#32 Arizona Cardinals
LE - Isaac Weston - Texas A&M - 6'5 - 275 lbs
The Cardinals have a couple expiring contracts along that defensive line which isn't a top unit on this squad anyways.
Drafting Weston from Texas A&M brings in an immediate starter to this front adding some more versatility.

Way to Early Awards
Kfox93
Happy Friday you chumps, I am bringing you some way to early season awards. Let's get started!
MVP: QB Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Allen is performing rather well in Buffalo this season while expectations were pretty low for this offense due to having a poor supporting cast. Allen has thrown for 1,382 yards, 14 TDs, and a 66% completion rate. I look for the Bills to continue this early success behind Allen’s arm.
Runner-up: QB Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
OPOY: WR John Ross III, Cincinnati Bengals
John Ross is FINALLY living up to the 1st round pick expectations! He is taking this league by storm in Cincy reeling in 25 receptions, 643 yards, & 8TDs. He is also averaging 128 yards a game.
Runner-up: WR Odell Beckham J.R., Cleveland Browns
DPOY: DE Tank Lawrence, Dallas Cowboys
Tank is wrecking offensive lines in Dallas! He has accumulated a sack in every game this season. In the five games he has 19 tackles, 5 TFL, and 10.5 sacks.
Runner-up: CB Pierre Desir, Indianapolis Colts
OROY: QB Kyler Murray, Arizona Bloods
I never was a big fan of Kyler, I was one of his biggest haters. But man was I wrong! This kid has a POOR team around him and is still lighting these defenses up as a rookie. Stats: 1,194 yards, 12 TD, 8 INTS and a 65% completion rate.
Runner-up: RB Josh Jacobs, Oakland Raiders
DROY: LB Drue Tranquil, Los Angeles Chargers
The stat line speaks for itself: 25 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 3 interceptions. Drue has had a huge impact on this already strong defense and should continue this pace of high play.
Runner-up: LB Devin White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Best Offense: Cincinnati Bengals
Best Defense: Indianapolis Colts
Best Offensive Line: Philadelphia Eagles
