Madden 22

Season One Predictions

Welcome to my Madden 22 season one predictions!

I tried to assign teams based on everyone’s favorite team, for the most part I was successful. There are a few cases where I had three users that are a fan of the same team (Cowboys & 49ers). At the time of writing this there wasn't enough users to cover all 32 spots so I had to get bring some people in that I am not sure about (Jake, Kad, Eikam, & Ernest)

I went through every team's 2022 schedule and predicted the outcome of every single game. Attached below is a link to the google sheets if you want to see how I predicted every game for the year.

Let's get started!

AFC South

1. Jacksonville Jaguars - Montguhmery (8-9)

2. Indianapolis Colts - Rfox (7-10)

3. Tennessee Titans - JP (6-11)

4. Houston Texans - Beech (4-13)

Montguhmery has a bright future in Red Zone and I see him making some great strides heading into Madden 22. I see him sneaking a few surprising wins sometime during the first season while barely winning the division title. The AFC South does not have a top user so really this division is up for grabs and could come down to the final weeks of play.

AFC North

1. Ravens - Ramesu (13-4)

2. Browns - Kad (9-8)

3. Steelers - Longville (6-11)

4. Bengals - Beat (5-12)

I have Ramesu tied for the best record in the AFC at 13-4. Longville is going to need a few seasons to get the Steelers the way he wants them and Kad coming out of retirement might be a little rusty. Nine wins for Kad might be a little too generous, but hey you never know.

AFC East

1. New York Jets - Moji (13-4)

2. Miami Dolphins - Jim (12-5)

3. Buffalo Bills - Andy (9-8)

4. New England Patriots - Weatherbeast (4-13)

I have played with Weatherbeast in leagues in previous Maddens and he was always a top user, but he is going to need some more time getting used to things again before he can even think about getting back his old self. Moji tied for first in the AFC with Ramesu, not much to say there as he has a very favorable schedule. I think Jim comes firing out of the gates with a chip on his shoulder and gives Moji a nice run but barely missing out on the division title. Andy is the true wild card here, while I don’t think he will be ready to take the division yet. I do think he will be able to sneak a win in here and there against Moji and Jim.

AFC West

1. Las Vegas Raiders - BlackMagic (12-5)

2. Kansas City Chiefs - White Greg (10-7)

3. Los Angeles Chargers - Kfox (6-11)

4. Denver Broncos - Eikam (4-13)

BM has shown he can be a playoff team every year and White Greg is up and coming…. Finally. This division should be a shootout between WG and BM while Kfox fights off whoever fills in for Eikam for third place.

NFC North

1. Minnesota Vikings - Adel (12-5)

2. Chicago Bears - Spittah (11-6)

3. Green Bay Packers - Pat (8-9)

4. Detroit Lions - Wa Chin Yu (0-17)

Nothing new here as Adel sits atop the division. Spittah could pose a threat for him since Adel hasn't had much competition in the past in his division. Wa Chin Yu, don’t know much about him but if there was going to be an 0-17 guy it has to be him.

NFC South

1. New Orleans Saints - Spencer (13-4)

2. Carolina Panthers - Astin (12-5)

3. Atlanta Falcons - Theo (7-10)

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Glenn (2-15)

I think this is the cycle where Spencer takes the leap, do I think he is better than Astin even though the record suggests it? No I do not. This division should be a battle between Spence and Astin for the whole cycle. I am really rooting for Theo to take the next step and maybe force himself in the number two spot. Glenn, I really didn’t want to do that to you man but you’ve given me no choice. Hopefully now that you have an ethernet cable things will get better.

NFC East

1. Dallas Cowboys - IJ (11-6)

2. Philadelphia Eagles - Metal (10-7)

3. Washington Football Team - Jake (10-7)

4. New York Giants - Robomonkey (4-13)

Assuming IJ and Metal come into Madden 22 where they left off they shouldn’t have any problems racking up some wins and start fighting for the division title. I don’t know much about Jake, I am assuming that since he has been here forever that he is somewhat decent at Madden and shouldn’t have an issue winning 10 games.

NFC West

1. Seattle Seahawks - Roc (12-5)

2. Arizona Cardinals - Kelly (11-6)

3. San Francisco 49ers - KingJohn (11-6)

4. Los Angeles Rams - Ernest (11-6)

This division would be the most competitive one in all of Madden 22. I don’t have much to say and honestly would have no idea how this would play out. I could see KJ having a fall off without the user dline but would love to see Roc step up and keep Ernest/KJ/Kelly all at bay.
