The Jets get their 3rd win of the season against the Dolphins. It was another impressive win that shows if the Jets could play like this every time they would be a force to recon with. Unfortunately, we never know which Jets we are going to get. Haskins started the game with a touchdown pass to Locke on the first play of the game. Then he would go on to throw one interception in the game. With a constant ground and pound from Guice it turned into a great game. A long with the Jets defense who played amazing forcing 6 interceptions. With the pressure from the defensive line who was able to get 2 sacks plus just constant pressure they was able to pull out the win.
The Jets came into week 9 on a 3 game skid and was 1 and 6 on the season. They was in a desperate need for a win. Haskins hadn’t looked that great on the season having thrown 33 interceptions through the first 8 weeks. The defense hadn’t looked that great either giving up 33 points a game when the offense was only averaging 21 points a game. In week 9 on a short week Coach Duran had them get extra preparation over rest. It must have paid off because in the week nine game against the bills it was a dominate performance. The Jets’ offense had a game plan. To help Haskins they planned to run the ball. This game they ran the ball extremely well. They was able to run the ball for 248 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. Guice was the work horse this game with 20 rushes for 188 yards and 4 of those touchdowns. He might have had more if Coach Duran had not benched him in the 4th quarter where Smith would come bet another 14 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown. With the rushing game being so effective it made Haskins be able to finally have some time. Haskins only had to throw the ball 9 times in which he was able to complete all of them for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns. He connected with Watkins for a 66 yard touchdown when he was able to catch the Bill defense in an all-out blitz leaving him wide open. The Jets defense also looked impressive. A defense that has given up an average of 100 yards a game in the 7 games played locked down Beverly this game after giving up 100 yards to him in week 2. Beverly carried the ball 10 times for -3 yards. Making it to where it was all on Allen in the passing game. Allen was able to pass for 222 yards but had 0 touchdowns and 5 interceptions due to the defense playing so well. FS Davis returned 1 of his 2 for a pick six. The defense also was able to sack Allen twice. We talked to Coach Duran about this blow out of a game and he said “I’m not sure why we are so inconsistent but we have got to change that. We need consistency and we need it fast.”
MOF S61 Week #8 Game of the Week
Daddy Leagues actually got this Game of the Week right. That would be the first times since I rejoined that I agreed with the website. For week #8 we will have Coach MrWitness and the Browns taking on Coach Portis and the Football Team. Both teams are 5-1 coming into this week and both teams one loss came at the hands of Coach Estrada and the 7-0 Giants. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top this game as both teams look to make an appearance in the playoffs. The Football Team will need the win more as they are in a fight for the division against the Giants and Eagles, whereas the Browns are leading their division by three games coming into week 8.
Breaking down the Browns
So far the Browns are looking pretty impressive. The stats would show that they are either scoring a lot on defense or the defense is giving the offense a really short field. Carr has 87 completions for 1020 yards and 6 touchdowns. He does have 5 interceptions also but that is less than one a game. Chubb and Hunt both have carried the ball 60+ times but both are barely above 260 yards on the ground. It does show that he has balance between his running back committee. Carr spreads the ball around making it hard to target who he is going to throw it to and that can be a problem but from the looks of it Isabella is his main guy with 337 yards and 4 touchdowns on 19 catches. The defense is doing just what we thought. Destroying offenses with its 23 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, and 14 sacks. Oh, did I say of the 23 interceptions that 8 were returned for touchdowns? With Myles Garrett pressuring and a ball hawking defense it surprising that they have one loss on the season.
Breaking down the Football Team
The Football Team is trying to compete in a tough division and already has one loss to the division leader. They are looking to not go back another game so this is a much needed win. With Bayless at the helm and looking pretty good completing 65% of his passes for 1260 yards. He does have 7 interceptions to go with his 7 touchdowns but that means he is only throwing on average one a game just like the browns. Love a running back has carried the rock 102 times this season and is averaging 5.2 yards a carry. Another well diverse receive group coming in with four receivers with over 240+ yards led by McLaurin who has 356 yards on 19 catches. Another outstanding defense is on the field. Led by Apke, the secondary has 27 interceptions with seven of them being pick sixes. The defense has also has nine forced fumbles and 17 sacks. Again we have a defense that has the pressure from Sweat and a ball hawking secondary it will be interesting to see how it goes.
Keys to the Game
The only key to this game is who wins the turnover battle. If one of these defenses can get the edge of that then they will win the game. Both defenses are top 10 and it will come down to this. It will be interesting to see how they will play it as both teams are balanced. I image we will see multiple drives with trading punts and it will be a game of ball position. If one Coach makes a mistake it could cost them the game. This being said I believe that the Browns squeak this one out in a defensive battle
Prediction
Browns 17-14
The Jets are looking to get back on track with this season after an early bye week. Multiple players reported that Coach Duran gave them the week off to rest so that they could get their heads in the game and ready to play. As fans we hope the Jets can narrow down and get some wins that are much needed. This week they will take on the Titans who they lost to last season but in a pretty close matchup. We talked to Coach Duran and asked him what he thought about this game. He replied “I believe that we can win this one. We will need to no make some of the mistakes that we made last season against them which included 4 interceptions. Even with those turnovers we was in the game but without them we win the game.” The team is also excited about the return of DE Ford who was hurt early in the week #1. He returns this week to help shutdown RB Henry. If the Jets can stop with the turnovers and get Guice going they have a pretty good chance to win this game but it will take some work as Coach Roclo are looking to make a statement win that they want to make the playoffs.
MOF S61 Week #7 Game of the Week
Week #7 in the MOF has come extremely quick. This week we will have a couple of Coaches that are looking to make some waves in MOF Season 61. The rams made the playoffs last season and are looking to return. The Patriots are looking to redeem themselves after the disappointing second half of their season. This season through week 6 both teams only have one loss and looking to make it to the playoffs. The Rams led the AFC East by 3 games and the Rams are a game back of the Cardinals in the NFC West but still have both the games against the Cardinals to go this season.
Breaking down the Patriots
The Patriots sit atop the AFC East and it appears that they will take it easily. As long as they continue to play good ball it should be. Though it could be a rough road ahead of them. Mayfield is only completing 59% of his passes and is prone to throwing just as many interceptions as he does touchdowns. Through 6 weeks Mayfield has 1173 yards on his 65 completions. The rushing game is looking a little weak as Michel is averaging just over a hundred yards a game. With 561 yards on the season it would seem decent but 330 of it basically was 2 games versus the Jets. Meaning he isn’t producing much against other teams. If you’re playing the Patriots you better watch for Smith in the passing game as he leads the team in receptions and in yards with over 40% of Mayfields yardage at 484 yards. The defense is led by MLB Bowman who is just stumping offenses in the run and passing game. He has 19 tackles with 5 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles. The defense also has Baber in the secondary who is one of seven players with more than ten tackles and also has 5 interceptions.
Breaking down the Rams
The Rams offense has been pretty potent. Goff has completed 111 of his 160 passes for 1326 yards through 6 games. You should watch the short game as hes only averaging 8.5 yards a completion. At the same time you will have to watch the run because Akers is looking good running for 728 yards on his 119 touches and has 9 touchdowns. Goff definitely likes to target Kupp and Thomas who combine for 55 competitions and 706 yards of Goff. The defense is pretty balanced all around. They have 18 interceptions which you would think would be more with the defensive pressure they get. I say that because they have 17 sacks on the season. Eight guys have 10 plus tackles with 5 of them having 20 plus. They are led on defense by Ramsey who has 21 tackles and two interceptions and don’t let that number full you because he is making his team look great by forcing them into other guys because of his X-Factor.
Keys to the Game
For the Patriots to win this game they will have to break the balance of the Rams. They will either need to force the Rams to throw the ball or force them to run the ball. If they can’t stop either then they only have a slim chance to win this game. For the Rams to win this game they will need to make sure to keep the pressure on Mayfield as he is prone to make mistakes, but to do that they will need to make sure Michel doesn’t get his X-Factor going because he is almost impossible to stop when he has it. So if they can stop him from running the ball and force Mayfield to throw it then they will have the best chance to win this game.
Prediction
Rams 31-24

MOF S61 Week #5 Game of the Week
It is already week #5 in the MOF. As we steam ahead with this season we have a power house matchup in the AFC West Coach Enzo and the Chiefs vs Coach Knighnolesand the Broncos. The Defending Superbowl Champions are looking to repeat but have the difficult schedule. The Broncos are 8-1 against the Chiefs but the Chiefs have the talent to take on the broncos. Both teams are looking to make a move and this will be the one that the Chiefs need to help make sure they can make it to the playoffs.
Breaking down the Chiefs
The Chiefs lost a tough one last week to the ravens but they are still 3-1. With a subpar win against the Steelers and a dominating performance against the Bucs Coach Enzo will have to find a middle ground to get his team to stay on track for the playoffs. Offensively the Chiefs have Mahomes at quarterback who is looking good with a 72% completion and 1,318 yards with 11 touchdowns through 4 games. With Hill and Hardman it’s hard not to have that many yards. They are accounting for 844. The running game could be better but again when you have Hill and Hardman why would you run the ball. Edwards-Helaire is still having a decent season averaging 4.4 yards a carry. The Chiefs defense looks solid. DT Jones is tied for the lead on the team with 10 tackles which is awesome for them because he is getting pressure and stopping the run as the defense is 3rd in the league against the run. The secondary has 19 interceptions which leads the league through 4 weeks.
Breaking down the Broncos
The Broncos look like they could be untouchable with how they have been playing. With wins against the Chargers, Bengals, Bills and Bucs. They will be taking on the Chiefs for the first time this season and it should be one to watch. Jenkins is looking better as this season through the 3 played games he only has one interception with 6 touchdowns. Jenkins only has 49 completions on the season for 663 yards. Seams low for him so far. Hamler and Sutton are accounting for 303 yards of that on 17 receptions. The defense is pretty balanced and is led by MLB Foster who has 16 tackles and 3 interceptions with 1 forced fumble through the 3 games played. Overall the secondary has 10 more interceptions to go along with that and with the ball hawking Coach at the helm it could be more.
Keys to the Game
As much as the Chiefs are going to want to throw the ball. I believe that in this one they will need to get Edwards-Helaire going to open up that secondary. If they can’t do that I think that Coach Knightnoles and the secondary will jump in the interception category. On the other hand with Jones at DT they could also bring some pressure and force Jenkins to throw so interception that could bring the Broncos down also. This game is one of the top games of the season because of the high powered offenses but at the same time the defenses will play a huge factor.
Prediction
The Jets got their first win of the season against the 3-0 Texans. It appeared that they was firing on all cylinders in this game and fans hope this is how it can stay. The Defense looked lights out in the first half against both the pass and the run but eventually gave up some big plays. Though making the Texans one sided was great. They held the Texans to 48 rushing yards which is something we hadnt see from the defense all year. Another thing they did better was forcing turnovers which they was able to force 6 interceptions in this game, of which two was taken to the house. When we say they was firing on all cylinders we mean it. The offensive line didnt even give up a sack which is something that they have struggled with all season long. Not having pressure is one of the main reasons that Haskins was able to go 18-23 for 286 yards and two touchdowns. He did throw two interceptions one of which was also a pick six but that didnt matter as they was putting up points left and right. If Haskins wasnt passing the ball then he was handing it off to Guice who ran it 25 times for 140 yards and 3 touchdowns. Haskins finally was able to hit some of his receivers for toucdowns. Watkins had 6 receptions for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns and rookie locke had 5 catches for 92 yards including the crucial 50 yarder that set up the offense inside the 5 yard line with under 30 secons in the first half. We talked to Coach Duran and asked him how he felt about this game and he replied " The team finally played as a whole and if we continue to do this then we can compete in every game." The Jets do have a challenging game coming up against the Chargers and we will have to see if they can play at the level they did this week against the Texans.
We are still wondering what is going on in the Jets locker room. They finished last season on a 4-game losing streak, which has rolled over to this season and put them on a 7-game losing streak. All three games have been division games including 2 against the patriots, the favorites to win the division. Will they be able to turn it around? The offensive line still shows no improvement when it comes to protecting Haskins in the backfield. If they get behind, they cannot run the ball like they would like to so how can they fix this problem. Through 3 games Haskins has been sacked 14 times and thrown 13 interceptions and fumbled 5 times. The defense is not helping as much as they did last season either. Last season they had one of the top rushing defenses and this season they are allowing almost 150 yards on the ground compared to last season only allowing 75 yards on the ground. It could be that they are without starting LE Ford who is out with an injury but only time will tell. They are going to have to change something up as next week they take on the 3-0 Texans.

MOF S61 Week #4 Game of the Week
We are already in week #4 of MOF Season 61. The Coach Estrada and the Giants continue to have the Game of the Week. This week they will be taking on the 3-0 Rams who are Coached by Vlade. Both teams are looking good to start the season and this is a primetime match up. This will be the first test of the season for Coach Vlade and the Rams though so we will just have to see who comes out on the end.
Breaking Down the Rams
The Rams are 3-0 have beaten the Seahawks, Bears, and Panthers. With 2 of the 3 not producing much in the last couple seasons. That is why he will be tested against the Giants. Though Goff is looking good completing 73% of his passes for 659 yards and Akers running the ball effectively for another 451 yards on 68 carries it will be hard to know what he is doing. The Giants will have to defend against the Kupp and Thomas in the pass with Akers running could also be a real problem for them. Kupp and Thomas have caught 30 of Goff’s 55 completions which totals for 390 of his passing yards. The Defense appears to be strong also with 5 guys above 10+ tackles through 3 games. They havent produced as many turnovers as some teams in the league with just 8 interceptions but what does that matter when you are winning games. Except for in this game, they will need to produce some to make the most against the Giants.
Breaking Down the Giants
Three straight weeks the Giants are in the Game of the Week. So far it appears that they have one of the strongest schedules in season 61. With wins against the Cowboys, Browns and Football team. Where two of the three made the playoffs last year. Qb Daniels is looking good so far only having to throw the ball 64 times of which he completed 48 for 715 yards. The only flaw is he has just as many touchdowns passes as he does interceptions at 4. Rb Breida is carrying the load at running back with 68 attempts through three games for 322 yards. It will also be hard to target which receive that Jones wants to throw to because he spreads the ball so good. Engram, Campbell, and Anderson all have 10 receptions for 100+ yards. The defense is pretty sturdy with Alexander at the middle linebacker spot. They have forced 7 interceptions but also forced 5 fumbles so far this season. This could potentially be a defensive battle between the two teams
Keys to the Game
I believe that the Rams are going to have to force some turnovers to stay in this game. Coach Estrada always seems to have the right answers and continues to play great ball and not give it way to many times. If they Giants can stop Akers and make the Rams one dimensional then they should take this one with ease.
Prediction
Giants 35-21
MOF S61 Week #2 Game of the Week
Week #3 has a premier match up in the NFC East with Coach Portis and the Washington Football Team vs Coach Estrada and the New York Giants. Both coaches are 2-0 in season 61 but one shall not be this week. That being said we have to take a look at both teams. Both coaches are known around the league and both make the playoffs regularly. Problem is both struggle to finish in the playoffs. The road to the playoffs is on them and this is going to get them started. The Giants are 6-3 in madden 21 against the Football Team. One of the losses was in the playoffs the one time they played in the playoffs. It will be interesting breaking down these teams.
Breaking down the Giants
The Giants are in the GOTW for the second straight week. They beat the Browns 21-10 last week by containing the run and stopping Carr from passing the ball. They played Giants football by running the ball 21 times for 113 yards which for sure means that they chew some of the clock and gave the Browns little possessions. The Defense was on point for the Giants as they was able to force 4 punts and 2 takeaways. This sets them up for a showdown this week against the Football Team. Jones this season has completed 73% of his passes for 442 yards but only 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Breida has been the work horse so far rushing the ball 37 times in 2 games. He is averaging 5.9 yards a carry but again only 2 touchdowns. It looks like if it wasn’t for the defense so far the offense is struggling. The defense is keeping them in the game by forcing turnovers and punts but how long will they be able to hold up.
Breaking down the Football Team
The Football team is a quite team around the league. You don’t hear much from Coach Portis unless he is bagging on Coach Knightnoles. Other than that he quietly works around the league causing havoc for some. They are 2-0 though so far this year. They barely survived against the Panthers. Last season Coach Portis traded Haskins for Bayless. Some thought it was a questionable move but none the less it was done. Bayless hasn’t really proved he was worth the trade as he is completing almost 70% of his pass but has thrown 3 interceptions to his 1 touchdown pass. Thankfully they have a pretty decent running back core pounding the ball. Love carrying the load by rushing for 30 times over the 2 games but is only averaging 3.9 yards a carry. On the other hand Gibson is averaging 12.8 yards a carry but that is probably because of his one 92 yard run. Bayless is having trouble connecting with McLaurin and Brewer as both are under 150 yards for the season. The Defense is another one keeping them in the game as they are playing great ball. They have already forced 13 interceptions of which 3 was returned for a touchdown.
Keys to the Game
Both of the teams are defensive giants. The only keep to this game is which offense can do better against the other defense. Both teams like to run the ball. So we are going to have to say if one of the teams can stop the run and for the other to pass it could be the highlight of the game. Washington appears to be playing a little higher level of defense based on stats but that could be a showing of lower level coaches he has played against. This should be a great game to watch and something we might see 3 times this season.
Prediction
Giants 17-10

||
This week in the MOF we went from 3 injuries to 16. I believe that this new fatigue factor is really playing a role and teams are going to have to start rotating players. Three HB got hurt including two from the Bears. A lot of Stars got hurt including RB Chubb, LOLB Dillon, and LOLB David. Offensive Lines may also have to be rotated as they are falling like flies. |

The Jets offensive line needs some help. Against the Bills they looked horrible and they also lost starting RT Robinson. How will they go about getting the line better when they have no trades left. It looks like they will have to turn to free agency. Against the Bill the offensive line allowed Haskins to be under constant pressure. That pressure was mainly from Bibbs who just tore up the Jets backfield when it came to passing the ball. Haskins was picked off 4 times with the pressure not giving him enough time to make the reads. Not only did they allow that but they also allowed him to be sacked seven times. Its hard to be a quarterback when you have that kind of pressure Coach Duran said. We are hoping to make some improvements this week but only time will tell and we hope the Jets dont start the season 0-3 with all being against the division. They take on the Patriots for the second game against them. Hopefully Coach Duran can figure it out.

Week #2 of Season 61 is going to be another great game. We have Coach Estrada and the Giants versus Coach MrWitness and the defending NFC Champions. Both Coaches made the playoffs in Season 60 and that makes this a primetime game. Coach Estrada is looking for some redemption after his loss to Boobie and the Eagles in the divisional round of the playoffs. Coach WrWitness is also looking for redemption after his loss in the Superbowl to Knightnoles and the Broncos. Coach Estrada and the Giants are 1-0 against Coach MrWitness and the Browns on madden 21.
The Giants have a lot of work to do to prove that they are a contender in the NFC. They tied down home field advantage last season but lost to the Eagles in their 3rd game of the Season. QB Jones is the commander of that offense and he is going to have to have a better season then Season 60. The Giants QB Jones looked pretty good in the season opener going 19 out of 25 for 276 yards and 2 touchdowns, he did have 2 interceptions but overall it was a pretty good game. Breida ran the ball 16 times for 106 yards and a touchdown, while Jones favorite target was WR Campbell who had 6 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown. The defense stood solid picking off Prescott 3 times and was led by FS Mckinney who had 5 tackles and 2 interceptions. So going into this week they look pretty solid overall and decently balanced.
The Defending NFC Champs are looking to repeat and make it back to the Super Bowl. Question is do they have what it takes to get back there. They started the Season off last week with a win over JFon and the Bengals. QB Carr didn’t have to do a lot but did his part going 14 out of 20 for 103 yards and 1 touchdown. The only flaw was he got sacked 4 times. RB Chubb was the work horse this game and who can blame him. He ran the ball 26 times for 89 yards and 1 touchdown. Carr may want to get on the same page with his receivers as his favorite target was RB Hunt for this game with 5 receptions for 38 yards. The defense is the main factor of why they look so good. DT Garrett led the charge on defense with 5 tackles, 3 of which was sacks and two forced fumbles. While the rest of the defense focused on the passing game which they took care of with 4 interceptions. Overall the Browns defense seems to be the strong point through game one.
The Giants are 1-0 against the Browns this madden. On paper it appears to be a great game with not many mistakes. The Giants defense did a little better at forcing punts where the browns defense gave up some scores. That being said, I do believe the key for the Giants to win this game is to have another great game on the ground and not turn it over. On the other hand for the Browns to win they will need to force some turnovers, stop the run, and extend drives. The Browns seem to be playing at a high level and so do the Giants. At the end of this game I expect that we will see one of the cleanest games we have seen and close.
