MOF S61 Week #4 Game of the Week
We are already in week #4 of MOF Season 61. The Coach Estrada and the Giants continue to have the Game of the Week. This week they will be taking on the 3-0 Rams who are Coached by Vlade. Both teams are looking good to start the season and this is a primetime match up. This will be the first test of the season for Coach Vlade and the Rams though so we will just have to see who comes out on the end.
Breaking Down the Rams
The Rams are 3-0 have beaten the Seahawks, Bears, and Panthers. With 2 of the 3 not producing much in the last couple seasons. That is why he will be tested against the Giants. Though Goff is looking good completing 73% of his passes for 659 yards and Akers running the ball effectively for another 451 yards on 68 carries it will be hard to know what he is doing. The Giants will have to defend against the Kupp and Thomas in the pass with Akers running could also be a real problem for them. Kupp and Thomas have caught 30 of Goff’s 55 completions which totals for 390 of his passing yards. The Defense appears to be strong also with 5 guys above 10+ tackles through 3 games. They havent produced as many turnovers as some teams in the league with just 8 interceptions but what does that matter when you are winning games. Except for in this game, they will need to produce some to make the most against the Giants.
Breaking Down the Giants
Three straight weeks the Giants are in the Game of the Week. So far it appears that they have one of the strongest schedules in season 61. With wins against the Cowboys, Browns and Football team. Where two of the three made the playoffs last year. Qb Daniels is looking good so far only having to throw the ball 64 times of which he completed 48 for 715 yards. The only flaw is he has just as many touchdowns passes as he does interceptions at 4. Rb Breida is carrying the load at running back with 68 attempts through three games for 322 yards. It will also be hard to target which receive that Jones wants to throw to because he spreads the ball so good. Engram, Campbell, and Anderson all have 10 receptions for 100+ yards. The defense is pretty sturdy with Alexander at the middle linebacker spot. They have forced 7 interceptions but also forced 5 fumbles so far this season. This could potentially be a defensive battle between the two teams
Keys to the Game
I believe that the Rams are going to have to force some turnovers to stay in this game. Coach Estrada always seems to have the right answers and continues to play great ball and not give it way to many times. If they Giants can stop Akers and make the Rams one dimensional then they should take this one with ease.
Prediction
Giants 35-21
