With a first round bye and a game at home versus the 5th seed Panthers, Coach Dale and the Cowboys looked prime to advance to their first conference champioship under their current head coach. They had top 5 scoring offense and defense but the defense didn't show up. Cam Newton had one incomplete pass in a 45-38 win over the Cowboys. Many rumours swirling around the Cowboys HQ about major changes coming on offense and defense. With departure of 31 year old Dez Bryant Dak Prescott with ...

The Colts fell just short of their goal, the Lombardi. They felt good going into the post season, and knew their passing game was on par with the higher echelon of talent. There was a buzz around the facility about the Superbowl, and all the players felt they had a chance to redeem the ghosts of the past, and reclaim the prize as their own.
Once the game started, Coach Beastwood realized that his matchups were not as favorable as he felt they could be, th...

Alright SFL Squad. The Eagles have been a laughing matter these past few years after our heartbreaking super bowl run. We have slacked off and didn’t have the heart like we used to as a team. Head Coach Vince Papali made a comment earlier today about the state of the team. “We started off at the top and have done nothing but fall since then. We have to pick up the intensity in practice, and come at teams with all that we have instead of what we can give. We will take the divisi...

The Minnesota Vikings offseason is already off to a rocky start. They are entering Free Agency with no Quarterbacks on the roster. The Jared Goff experiemtn is over as he did not resign with the Vikings. The Vikings clear biggest need is QB will they get it in Free Agency or through the draft? Only time will tell what will happen in Minnesota, they're hoping to get a plan in place by the start of the first free agent signing period.

Here we are again in the offseason. Once again, the Raiders have lost in the first round of the playoffs after an 11-5 season. This seems to be a recurring theme this cycle for the Oakland Raiders aside from the first season when they went 4-12. There were many similarities for this Oakland team compared to last season. The offense was once again stagnant in the passing game and they wer...

With the 2019 SFL season winding down, I decided to start a new end of the year tradition and honor some various users in the league. Some of these are real, some are slander.....they are not in order.
Enjoy.
*Best Owner - Q - Atlanta Falcons
*Worst Owner - Robb - Denver Broncos
*Most Active Owner - LB - Buffalo Bills
*Least Active Owner(s) - Chan and Gabe or as we call them "Chabe&q...

LAC had the worst season in the history of GamblerLife's reign in Charger land at 6-10. The season was a total disappointment in all areas. The front office is preaching focus and preparation for the 2020 season.
The upsetting part is it might have been the last season that star DE Melvin Ingram puts on the uniform and starts for the Chargers. He's been a nightmare for AFC teams for many SFL seasons. If he's done, he will be sorely missed!!

What a tumultuous season it was for the Falcons. Losing damned near the entire offense to injury during the course of the season. Plus, coming off a Superbowl loss to the Texans was definitely a stinging loss to the psyche of the Falcon players. Atlanta didn't win a Superbowl lasy cycle at all. They've never won a title in season 3. As early was week one, Atlanta dropped a game to division rival, Tampa Bay. Then lost right after to the Colts. Three straight losses (including the Su...

This list is as of end of the season standings, order subject to change after Super Bowl. Just my outlook on each team for its needs in the first round.
1. Redskins- CPU team for now, a very old team best on the board says LT Joey Butkus Oregon. With a very old line I think the CPU take best available so I think Butkus goes number 1.
2. Rams- JD is going QB at number 2
3. Broncos- if the Redskins don’t ruin Robb’s plans ...

Now that the Wildcard Round is behind us, the tension between teams as well as the stakes have risen with the Divisional Round approaching.
Last week we saw some close calls with the Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers pulling out some late game heroics to propel them one step closer to their goal of a Super Bowl.
This week brings in even more excitement and another slate of solid match ups, the Cleveland Browns host the surging New York Jets, the Atlanta Falcons...
