Da Chicago Bears secured their 4th straight victory after a 31-21 win over the LA Chargers. After falling 21-10 in the first half, Da Bears scores 21 unanswered to clinch the win. QB Micthell Trubisky compiled 200 yards and 2TDs. Both TDs going to TE Trey Burton. RB Kerrith White ran 15 times for 108 yds and 2 TDs. For the majority of the season so far, the huge X-factor for Da Bears was their defense. By forcing 5 total turnovers, 3 coming from the hands and speed of FS Troy Apke, Da Bears were able to rally and come back from the 1st half deficit. HC Barry McCockinner spike after the game, “TWO MORE WEEKS TILL TARIK COHEN RETURNS!”
Da Bears (6-1) host the Philly Eagles in week 9
Da Chicago Bears continue to display stellar defense. They capped off another win with another shutout. This one was against the New Orleans Saints by a score of 48-0. The defense thrived on turnovers, and they forced 7 of em. 3 interceptions came by way of Troy Apke. QB Trubisky was near perfect by going 7 of 8 passing 229 yards and 4 TDs. All 4 of those touchdowns went to WR Taylor Gabriel, who scored every time he touched the ball. The running game remained solid by way of RB Kerrith White. He compiled 139 yds and 2 TDs on 16 carries. It was a great ass team performance all around. HC Barry McCockinner briefly spoke after the game, “Love the tenacity this group of guys are bringing every week. We have the best defense in the entire league. One more thing, where tf is Tarik Cohen???”
Da Bears (5-1) host the LA chargers next week
Da Chicago Bears complete a shutout win for the second week in a row by defeating the Oakland Raiders 26-0. Da Bears utilized another slow paced game and relied on their defense for the win. QB Mitchell Trubisky is in somewhat of a groove after completing 6 of 9 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown. RB Kerrith White had a solid game of 87 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. But once again, it was the defense that outshined the offense. The defense forced 3 turnovers and held the Raiders to a total of 118 yards of offense. After their second shutout in a row, Da Bears are currently holding their opponents to 10 points a game, which is the lowest in the NFL. One big shoutout goes to Bears kicker Eddie Pineiro for going 4 for 4 on field goals for the game. HC Barry McCockinner commented after the game, “The team looked solid out there, but they’d look more solid with Tarik Cohen in the backfield. Who needs a collarbone to play football anyways?”
Da Bears (4-1) are taking a week off for their bye in week 6.
After a disappointing 3 point loss to the Washington Redskins, Da Chicago Bears bounced back and shutout the Minnesota Vikings 24-0. QB Mitchell Trubisky had a consistent day with 94 yds passing with 2 TDs and an INT. Completing 75% of his passes, his highest mark on the season. The run game was dominated by backup running back Kerrith White; 15 carries, 166 yds, and 1 TD. The biggest factor of the game was Da Bears defense. The defense held Dalvin Cook to 19yds rushing and Kirk Cousins to only 64yds passing. They compiled a total of 4 sacks and caught 3 INTs. Overall, it was a great game for the group. HC Barry McCockinner commented after the game, “Tarik, we miss you. Please heal.”
Da Bears (3-1) travel on the road to face the Oakland Raiders in week 5.
It started out as just an ordinary football game. The broncos got off to an early 7-0 lead off an 80yd run by Phillip Lindsay. After two 3 and outs, the worst fear of every Bears coach, player, and fan came true. Superstar Tarik Cohen BREAKS HIS DAMN COLLARBONE. QB Tribusky was the most concerned Bc he may actually have to throw the football now. Putting the injury aside, the entire Bears football team stepped up (besides the QB....don’t wanna get into that....cough cough only 22 yards passing) and won in dominating fashion. It was a 52-24 victory over the Denver Broncos. A huge thanks to the defense who forced a total of 4 turnovers and only allowed Lindsay to 35 yards after the first drive. Shockingly the running game of Da Bears didn’t miss a beat without Cohen. They had a total of 376yards and 6 touchdowns on 21 carries. Huge shoutout to no face rookie Kerrith White for producing 243 yards and 4 touchdowns on only 8 carries. HC Barry McCockinner commented on Cohens injury after the game, “FUCKKKKKKKKK.”
Da Bears head on the road to play the 2-0 Washington Redskins next week!
Medical staff reported Cohen will be out for 8 weeks.....
Da Bears started the game on the right foot with an opening drive Pick 6 by converted safety Buster Skrine. QB Mitchell Trubisky struggled heavily throughout the game with only 90yds, 2 INTS, and one 59 yd TD to WR Taylor Gabriel. Da Bears were forced to heavily rely on star running back Traik Cohen. He delivered with 317 yards and 3 TDs on only 18 carries! The defense also had an outstanding effort in stopping the run game of the packers, allowing only 34 total yards on the ground. Packers QB Ryan Tannehill produced a statline 281 yds, 1 TD, and 2 INTS. Overall Da Bears should be satisfied with their dominating 38-13 win over the Green Bay Packers. In the post game press conference, Head Coach Barry McCockinner reflected on his teams win. He stated, “We need to work on our passing game, but overall both the run game and defensive play was outstanding. Let’s run it back next week in Denver. GO BEARS!”
