2024 BL Mock Draft Top 16

Kiings Mock Draft

1. Los Angeles Rams

Needs :QB, TE, OL, DT

The Pick: Colton Pascoe, QB, San Diego State

Verdict: I traded Levi Cason, knowing that I would receive the #1 pick and have the quarterback of my choice. Colton will surely need some developing but adding another rushing threat hopefully proves to be valuable.

2. Washington Football Team

Needs :QB, OL, S, OLB

The Pick: Kenny McMillian, QB, Florida

Verdict: The Football team must replace Jordan Love, and adding a quarterback with good throwpower and speed will prove valuable.

3. Dallas Cowboys

Needs :DE, S, RB

The Pick: Antonio Edwards, FS, Boston College

Verdict: The Dallas Cowboys need to replace Micah Hyde before it is to late. They are drafting the best player in the draft here and can't wait till their next pick to snag him, or he will be gone.

4. Baltimore Ravens

Needs:  LB, DT, G, CB

The Pick: Mitch Spriggs, OLB, Oklahoma

Verdict: The Ravens need to find LBs, and Mitch Spriggs may be the best of the bunch.

5. Philadelphia Eagles

Needs: RB, LB, OL

The Pick: Ben Stoudemire, RB, Oklahoma

Verdict: Myles Sanders was shipped out of town, but is replaced with a better player. Stoudemire has the makings of a BL HOF if used correctly in philly.

6. Minnesota Vikings

Needs :QB, LB, OL

The Pick: Steven Halen, MLB, LSU

Verdict: Simply put, the Best User LB available on a team that needs help at LB.

7. Los Angeles Rams

Needs: TE, OL, DT

The Pick: Nazir Knight, DT, Michigan

Verdict: Defensive Tackle is the last big need on this defense, and plugging Nazir Knight may immediately solve that need.

8. Dallas Cowboys

Needs: DE, S,  RB

The Pick: Will Breeland, DE, Auburn

Verdict: Will Breeland is a speed rushing defensive end that will provide the front seven of this defense with an explosive pass rusher.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Needs: OL, OLB, S

The Pick: Harold Lewis, DE, Tennessee

Verdict: With no OLB on the board worth taking, the Buccaneers take Harold Lewis, use his speed, and convert him to OLB.

10. Dallas Cowboys

Needs: DE, S, RB

The Pick: Dwayne Allen, RB, UCF

Verdict: An aging Phillip Lindsay is the only thing the Dallas Cowboys have left in their back field. Being able to take Dwayne Allen will provide the Cowboys with a workhorse in the backfield, setting up deep shots to their explosive Wrs.

11. Houston Texans

Needs: TE, DE, CB, S

The Pick: Jaron Stringer, DE, UCF

Verdict: Another team that needs pass rush is benefitted from a deep Defensive End class.

12. Detroit Lions

Needs: WR, DE, OLB

The Pick: Aaron Ellis, WR, Tennessee

Verdict: Aaron Ellis is the best Wr in this class.

13. Pittsburgh Steelers

Needs: QB, OL, DE

The Pick: Stanley Cohen, DE, Oregon State

Verdict: Stanley Cohen fits perfectly into the Pittsburgh 3-4 Defense and provides youth and upside to this dominant front 7.

14. Jacksonville Jaguars

Needs: TE, S, OL

The Pick: Martin Bigby, CB, Nevada

Verdict: Jacksonville needs to remake their safety position, as their current starters simply cannot compete in this league with their lack of speed. Adding Martin provides them an opportunity to convert a CB to Safety.

15. Miami Dolphins

Needs: LB, CB, WR, OL

The Pick: Delvin Johns, WR, Boise State

Verdict: The first "Reach" in this draft but I beleive it is worth making for the Dolphins as it provides them with an unique weapon. Doom is a user that many respect and pairing his user with a fast receiver that needs development, in my mind, is the perfect fit.

16. Buffalo Bills

Needs: OL, DE, LB

The Pick: Jonathan Kirkpatrick, DT, Penn State

Verdict: The Buffalo Bills add to their strong Defensive line with the addition of Jonathan Kirkpatrick.

2023 BL Mock Draft Top 10

#1. Tennesee Titans

Needs: Quarterback, Tackle, Edge

The Pick: Dillon Chapman, Quarterback, Vanderbilt

- The Lions clearly need a franchise Quarterback to build their future around. Dillon is as clean of a prospect we have seen and possesses every trait you expect from a modern quarterback. He has a huge arm, throws an accurate football, a Pro Ready Frame standing at 6'4" and enough mobility to escape the pocket when needed.

#2. Denver Broncos

Needs: Offensive Line, Edge, Defensive Back

The Pick: DeAndre Hazelton, Defensive End, Boise State

- Many peoples #1 rated prospect falls in the Broncos lap due to quarterback need. Pairing Otis Blackburn up with Hazelton will provide the Denver Broncos a potentially elite pass rushing duo to go along with their formidable Corners.

#3. New York Jets

Needs: Defensive Back, Edge. Quarterback

The Pick: Deon Grant, Cornerback, Wisconsin

- This pick will come down to either Grant or James Hunt. I have the Jets turning in the card with Deon Grants name on it due to his 6' 204lb frame and elite 4.35 speed.

#4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Needs: Defensive Tackle, Linebacker, Safety

The Pick: Connor Fenderson, Defensive Tackle, Texas A&M.

- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need a force on the interior of their defensive line and Connor Fenderson is elite. In a deep Defensive Tackle group Fenderson clearly sits on top. He finished the combine at the top of nearly every drill and the tape does not lie, the dude can play football.

#5. Los Angeles Rams

Needs: Edge, Tight End, Defensive Tackle

The Pick: Monty Barnes, Defensive End, Utah

- If im left in this spot, the pick will be Monty Barnes. I have aging talent on the defensive side of the ball and I will look to bolster my pass rush by adding Barnes.

#6. Carolina Panthers

Needs: Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver

The Pick: Adrian Valdez, Quarterback, Geogia.

- The Carolina Panthers must address quarterback if they want to compete this upcoming season. I beleive that Greg Carpenter is the better prospect but a strong arm and the ability to run will convince the Panthers to take Valdez early. Valdez will clearly become the first reach in the Draft but with the right development can become one of the most dangerous playmakers in Better League.

#7. Baltimore Ravens

Needs: Edge, Defensive Tackle, Line Backer

The Pick: Cordell Tate, Edge, Colorado

- The Baltimore Ravens have both a hole in their Linebacking core and Defensive Line. Cordell Tate had decent enough speed to play off ball lineback but his real value as a pass rusher. He can either play outside rush lineback in a 3-4 or Defensive End in a 4-3 Defense.

#8. Atlanta Falcons

Needs: Quarterback, Tight End, Tackle, Corner

The Pick: Greg Carpenter, Quarterback, Louisville

- Quarterback Matt Dobbins has not been what the Falcons expected and I expect them to move away from him quickly in favor of Carpenter. Carpenter does not have the same mobility as Dobbins but has a much more accurate deep ball and a cannon for an arm.

#9. Arizona Cardinals

Needs: Corner, Linebacker, Tight End

The Pick: James Hunt, Cornerback, University of South Florida

- The Cardinals will solve their cornerback problems with a prospect who has 4.39 speed and a 39.7 vertical. He is also a potential hidden development player which will entice the Cardinals to act quickly. Pairing him with Luke Seawright, they have a chance to compete on the outside.

#10. Detroit Lions

Needs: Wide Receiver, Defensive Tackle, Linebacker

The Pick: Ron McKenzie, Defensive Tackle, Texas

- Ron McKenzie has some potential to become a dominant pass rusher but what makes him elite is his ability to eat up space and defend the run. This immediately fills a hole on their defense and provides them a path to defending Saquon Barkley, Aaron Jones, and Dalvin Cook.

The Kiings Mock

1. Bengals, Needs: QB,RT,LB

The Pick: ROLB, Renee Southward, Clemson

- Southward is a big, fast, strong linebacker with great hit power that the bengals desperately need. They will live another year with their QB situation.

2. Chargers, Needs: QB, TE, OL, LB

The Pick: QB, Matt Morton, Louisville

- The Chargers instantly fill the Qb need with morton who has a strong arm and great accuracy for a young QB. He is 21 years old and will be the centerpiece for the super bowl contending chargers.

3. Lions, Needs: TE, DL, QB

The Pick: RE, Vintize Humes, Wisconsin

- The Lions pair this young runstopping de who is extremely strong and plays with good hands taking on offensive lineman. This is a need position and with little depth at defensive end in the draft, the lions take the only 1st round talent.

4. Cardinals, Needs: QB, OL, LB

The Pick: MLB, Ben Spencer, Wisconsin

- Without a great mobile QB available here, the Cardinals live with the risk and solidify their young LB core with a great talent.

5. Seahawks, Needs: OL, CB, SS

The Pick: RT, Jason Eaton, Ohio State

- The Seahawks need OL desperately and get in my opinion the best offensive lineman in the draft. Simple pick and the seahawks need this guy.

6. Vikings, Needs: QB, OL, FS

The Pick: LT, Demetrius Williams, Tennessee

- The Vikings need a qb, but it doesnt matter who your QB is if he doesnt have time to throw. I feel they need to take this dominant offensive lineman to solidify their QBs blind side. I think they do this and then go QB later in the draft.

7. Steelers, Needs: QB, OL, LB

The Pick:

The Kiings Mock Draft

1.       Chargers – Derall Fuller, 5’11 22 Year Old FS, Tennessee

“Probably not the best player, but he is the best secondary player. Immediate Starter”

2.       Seahawks – Jaqwaylin Stewart, 6’5 23 Year Old ROLB, Oklahoma

“Freakish Athlete, Don’t find many 6’5 humans who run 4.55 in the forty and put up 30 reps, also a need”

3.       Broncos – Cameron Vines, 6’3 23 Year Old QB, FIU

“The team is solid at every position, but if I were the Broncos I take the next Michael Vick.”

4.       Jaguars – Spencer Chambers, 6’0 21 Year Old MLB, Wisconsin

“Spencer Chambers, Couldn’t resist his speed and age, but the top 3 MLBs are very talented, and will have everyone excited to see where they go.”

5.       Saints – Craig Booker, 6’2 22 Year Old MLB, Miami

“The next youngest, and the next fastest, out of the trio of MLBS and the saints could use him. “

6.       Lions – Ahmad Sawyer, 6’1 23 Year Old WR, Penn State

“Doesn’t have the speed of some other WRs but is super polished and would be the #1 Threat immediately for the Lions.”

7.       Cowboys – Rashad Semple, 6’5 23 Year Old LT, Florida

“Cowboys add the missing piece to the best Offensive line in football and gash the Better League with Zeke.”

“Lions have to protect Stafford, Blackwell does that and opens up run lanes.”

9.       Patriots – Walker Saturday, 6’1 23 Year Old MLB, Notre Dame

“The last MLB to come off the board here for the Patriots as it is a need position, Will Walker be the best?”

10.   Cardinal – Ali Berry, 5’11 22 Year Old WR, Clemson

“Ali Berry steps in and adds to the speed Arizona already has at the WR position, steps in as there biggest threat other than David Johnson.”

11.   Colts – Jaleel Kirby, 6’0 22 Year Old CB, Clemson

“Went cb last year, will do it again and give them solid pieces that they can build around on the outside.”

12.   Packers – Cy Kaesviharn, 6’6 23 Year Old TE, Penn State

“The Packers need a TE and this is the best prospect at that position that BL has seen in quite some time, easy choice and great fit in my opinion.”

13.   Broncos – Deshun Butler, 6’3 22 Year Old MLB, Idaho

“Our first major reach but with Butlers 4.5 speed and 6’3 frame, he could be developed into a nasty mlb. Would also be a great fit immediately for phils user lurks”

14.   Rams – Curtis Enis, 6’0 21 Year Old CB, Pittsburgh

“Rams desperately need youth at the Cb spot and Enis is just that, has a high ceiling if he can be developed quickly, just a tad bit raw.”

15.   Raiders – Carter Hauschka, 6’2 21 Year Old RG, Ohio State

“The Raiders will take the best guard in the draft here in my opinion, given his age and strength.”

Hot Spots For Trade Down

#2- Cardinals need a lot of help and don't have a lot of picks. If the #1 player on their board is gone, I'd expect someone to make a great offer.

#3- Another team that needs quite a bit.

#11- Has a history of trading down. Must hit if he trades down as his roster is pretty solid.

#15- If their QB of the future is gone, I'd expect them to trade down.

The Kiings Mock Draft

1. Bills - Antwan Mullins, Cb Florida State 6'4 210, 22 years old

Antwan has the highest ceiling of this draft. The Bills need another corner to pair with rookie Tre'Davious White.

2. Cardinals - Frank Udeze, Rolb UCLA 6'2 251, 23 years old

By far, the weakest part of this Cardinals team is at ROLB. Udeze is an instant impact player and day 1 starter.

3. Raiders- Mack Victorian, Mlb Auburn 5'11 251, 23 years old

The Raiders have been vocal about how upset they are with the MLBs currently on their roster. Lucky for them, Mack Victorian is one of the most talented players in this draft.

4. Seahawks- Lawrence Meers, Rt UCLA 6'5 317, 22 years old

Everyone and their moms know that the Seahawks need offensive lineman.

5. Colts- Ray Manning, Hb Stanford 5'11 213, 22 years old

The Colts can go many different ways here but considering the two best lbs are off the board and their young secondary that they hope to develop, they take my favorite RB in this class.

6. Panthers- Kierre Pead, Fs Louisville 6'4 203, 24 years old

The Panthers will live and die by their defense. They need to look to replace both current safeties but take Kierre Pead, who has the chance to be a once in a generation talent.

7. Giants- Eric Jennings, Lolb Wisconsin 6'0 242, 22 years old

The Giants need offensive lineman as bad as anyone, However their LB corp is awful and Eric Jennings is an underrated, Day 1 starter.

8. Cowboys- Eduardo Costa, Wr Stanford 6'2 215, 21 years old

My favorite player in this draft, falls to 8???!??! Dallas needs defense but considering they don't want to reach, they take the best player in the draft at number 8.

9. Browns- Rashard Coley, Cb Stanford 6'0 205, 22 years old

The Browns have drastically improved their team and look to patch up a leaky secondary here.

10. Saints- Parker Anunoby, Qb Auburn 6'6 234, 23 years old

The Saints go with the future and upside here with this pick. Anunoby is a physical freak with a cannon for an arm but is unpolished.

25. Cincinnati Bengals - Trash Qb.

27. Indianapolis Colts - Gonna end up last in his trash can division

28. Oakland Raiders - 0-4 With one of the better teams? Soon to be 31.

29. New Orleans Saints - Don't know him, but who expects anything from him?

30. Arizona Cardinals - Enough said, Competing each week to move further down this list.

31. Buffalo Bills - Hasn't won a game since he joined, still beats FrontalChaff609.

32. Seattle Seahawks - Anyone could have guessed it, at this point why does he even play games?

Tampa Bay Season in Review

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a very successful bounce back year under Coach King Ding Aleeng. They finished the season 14-2, only losing to the bears and the packers. After having a bye in the first round of the playoffs the Buccaneers had a very tough opponent in the Chicago Bears who handed them their second loss of the season. The Bears dominated the game as many expected and ended the Buccaneers season. The Buccaneers Head Coach, Coach Ding Aleeng had this to say in their end of season pressed. "I came into this league talking a lot of shit and I feel that my team backed it up for the most part. I wanted to make a name for our team and create some conversation around our team. I feel that we earned some respect and we hope to build on the success that we had this season. This offseason we will look to become a better team up front on both sides of the ball and hopefully it will pay dividends next season. Expect changes, possibly drastic changes.

Starting Small

Offseason Press Conference Highlights

"We want to approach this offseason correctly and add some much needed talent to our roster. My offense is a vertical offense and we love to throw the football. That being said we will use the draft and free agency to improve our offensive line and possibly add a vertical threat."

"We need speed on our defense and guys with high motors, and also some toughness."

"We are not going to let our division push us around this upcoming season as we hope to build for the future. "

"Being a rookie coach is often times difficult but I hope to earn some respect in this league."

"You always strive to be in a Super Bowl but being realistic, I hope to compete in games, get guys to buy into our system, and I would honestly be super happy with a 7-9 or 8-8 season"

A New Day

Today the Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially announced the hiring of their new head coach. King Ding Aleeng has accepted a 4 year offer from the team which was agreed upon late last night. Ding Aleeng had a controversial first press conference yesterday. Continue reading for his press conference in full.

"Today I would like to announce that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and I have agreed to terms to become the head coach of their football team. I am extremely honored and excited to be apart of this desperate franchise. Over the last couple of seasons they have failed to find a head coach who knew a damn thing about football. I feel that I am the right guy for the job and that with me at the helm, the Buccaneers can rise to greatness and began competing for championships immediately. The talent on this team can compete with any in the NFL, if I can put them in the correct position to get the most out of them. For the Buccaneer fans out there, Today is a new day, Today we will began to improve , Today we will strive to become the best, and as for tomorrow, well I guarantee a division championship next season. Thank you and Siege the Day!"
