2023 BL Mock Draft Top 10

#1. Tennesee Titans

Needs: Quarterback, Tackle, Edge

The Pick: Dillon Chapman, Quarterback, Vanderbilt

- The Lions clearly need a franchise Quarterback to build their future around. Dillon is as clean of a prospect we have seen and possesses every trait you expect from a modern quarterback. He has a huge arm, throws an accurate football, a Pro Ready Frame standing at 6'4" and enough mobility to escape the pocket when needed.

#2. Denver Broncos

Needs: Offensive Line, Edge, Defensive Back

The Pick: DeAndre Hazelton, Defensive End, Boise State

- Many peoples #1 rated prospect falls in the Broncos lap due to quarterback need. Pairing Otis Blackburn up with Hazelton will provide the Denver Broncos a potentially elite pass rushing duo to go along with their formidable Corners.

#3. New York Jets

Needs: Defensive Back, Edge. Quarterback

The Pick: Deon Grant, Cornerback, Wisconsin

- This pick will come down to either Grant or James Hunt. I have the Jets turning in the card with Deon Grants name on it due to his 6' 204lb frame and elite 4.35 speed.

#4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Needs: Defensive Tackle, Linebacker, Safety

The Pick: Connor Fenderson, Defensive Tackle, Texas A&M.

- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need a force on the interior of their defensive line and Connor Fenderson is elite. In a deep Defensive Tackle group Fenderson clearly sits on top. He finished the combine at the top of nearly every drill and the tape does not lie, the dude can play football.

#5. Los Angeles Rams

Needs: Edge, Tight End, Defensive Tackle

The Pick: Monty Barnes, Defensive End, Utah

- If im left in this spot, the pick will be Monty Barnes. I have aging talent on the defensive side of the ball and I will look to bolster my pass rush by adding Barnes.

#6. Carolina Panthers

Needs: Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver

The Pick: Adrian Valdez, Quarterback, Geogia.

- The Carolina Panthers must address quarterback if they want to compete this upcoming season. I beleive that Greg Carpenter is the better prospect but a strong arm and the ability to run will convince the Panthers to take Valdez early. Valdez will clearly become the first reach in the Draft but with the right development can become one of the most dangerous playmakers in Better League.

#7. Baltimore Ravens

Needs: Edge, Defensive Tackle, Line Backer

The Pick: Cordell Tate, Edge, Colorado

- The Baltimore Ravens have both a hole in their Linebacking core and Defensive Line. Cordell Tate had decent enough speed to play off ball lineback but his real value as a pass rusher. He can either play outside rush lineback in a 3-4 or Defensive End in a 4-3 Defense.

#8. Atlanta Falcons

Needs: Quarterback, Tight End, Tackle, Corner

The Pick: Greg Carpenter, Quarterback, Louisville

- Quarterback Matt Dobbins has not been what the Falcons expected and I expect them to move away from him quickly in favor of Carpenter. Carpenter does not have the same mobility as Dobbins but has a much more accurate deep ball and a cannon for an arm.

#9. Arizona Cardinals

Needs: Corner, Linebacker, Tight End

The Pick: James Hunt, Cornerback, University of South Florida

- The Cardinals will solve their cornerback problems with a prospect who has 4.39 speed and a 39.7 vertical. He is also a potential hidden development player which will entice the Cardinals to act quickly. Pairing him with Luke Seawright, they have a chance to compete on the outside.

#10. Detroit Lions

Needs: Wide Receiver, Defensive Tackle, Linebacker

The Pick: Ron McKenzie, Defensive Tackle, Texas

- Ron McKenzie has some potential to become a dominant pass rusher but what makes him elite is his ability to eat up space and defend the run. This immediately fills a hole on their defense and provides them a path to defending Saquon Barkley, Aaron Jones, and Dalvin Cook.
