After an offseason of huge moves throughout the league the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings were set to defend their respective conference crowns. Young players replaced veterans like Peyton Manning, and Charles Woodson in a league where turnover is constant. Names like Cooper Ballard, Tank Sapp, Jaquan Carrington, & Sean Griffin entered the league with promise. However there are two teams that took drastically different paths to meet in this superbowl. Chicago moved draft picks in order build a young core on defense with Ryan Shazier, Christian Jones, and Jason Pierre Paul. They acquired their quarterback Johnny Manziel after a short turbulent stint with the Browns and he had one year in coach Fox's offense. Miami improved their offensive line and Cameron Jordan found some talent no one knew he had before. Lamar miller was as explosive a runner this year as any in his career. Chicago fought off Minnesota a 3rd time to reach the superbowl, Miami turned back the Rookie sensation Cooper Ballard and his formidable Broncos squad.

From the ashes of other sim leagues GFL came to existence to provide a place for sim madden players to get one of the best CFM experiences out there. The Denver Broncos and Peyton manning had been precipice of greatness the last couple of years but came up short in the Superbowl and AFC Championship game. The GFL Season 1 Broncos were not willing to stand pat though, they made a number of huge moves the biggest being trading veteran CB Aqib Talib to the Steelers for All pro Center Marquise Pouncey. Minnesota had largely been out of the playoff mix but the organization felt they were poised for a huge year. So Minnesota sent 1st round project receiver Cordarelle Patterson and a mid round draft pick to the Bills for Robert Woods to bring in some sure hands to their receiving corps.  Both teams fought through tough competition to get to the Superbowl.

Why you are a good fit for GFL: I'm a sucker for sim style madden, I've been apart of a madden league for the past three years, even won a super bowl with the Chicago Bears this madden, though the league sadly disbanded as early as the 3rd season. I have enough time to dedicate to staying active and definitely want to make some solid trades in order to rebuild a franchise.

We are still playing, know you were interested before. We should get a scrimmage scheduled if you still want to play.
