Jets Reason: As with my previous trade proposal(ref: Jets/Seahawks), the Jets are looking to replace some players on my roster who are on the wrong side of 30 especially on 5 he offensive side of the ball. While Revis does fit that criteria, he still is a number 1 corner on some teams and no worse then a number 2 on most teams in the league. His contract while on the high side yearly has the benefit of no signing bonus so in moving him we hope to pickup a starter or 2 (best case scenario ) with the returning picks.

Packers agree to the above mentioned trade. Already in ownership of several early Rd selections and in need of depth at the offensive line position, we can afford to deal a couple of late selections on this prospect (SS dev).
Packers Reason: The Packers 2 current starting guards are both 30+ in age and command pretty large salaries. With this move the Packers will be more cap flexible moving into next offseason(13 potential free agents) while also giving a younger player(Tretter) the opportunity to move from behind C Linsley and become a starting fixture on the line for the foreseeable future. The incoming 1st will be used as our other additional high Rd picks to bring in potential starters at other positions of need.

Packers Reason: Despite signing Lacy to a lucrative contract a few seasons back, they have been less then thrilled with the production put forth by Lacy (last 3 season's rushing totals: 820yds-516yds-550yds). With this iteration of Madden being closer to the end then to the beginning the organization has decided to go in another direction bringing in ex-Saints RB Mark Ingram to handle the starting duties at RB. With both backs being somewhat similar in running styles and Lacy being angered by our decision we have decided to part ways and allow him a new lease on his career in Baltimore. The 1st Rd pick coming back will allows us to hopefully add an impact rookie to our team who can hopefully come in and start from day 1.

Packers Reason: Shields is a highly decorated veteran, however he is in the midst of a new contract negotiation impasse and with him being potentially replaced with younger options is looking to possibly start somewhere else. The Packers who are in the midst of contract talks with Qb Aaron Rodgers would be saving over $8 M by cutting ties with Shields, and by that same token will be saving an additional $4.5M by moving Bryan Bulaga and replacing him with a younger option at RT.
