Packers Reason: The Packers 2 current starting guards are both 30+ in age and command pretty large salaries. With this move the Packers will be more cap flexible moving into next offseason(13 potential free agents) while also giving a younger player(Tretter) the opportunity to move from behind C Linsley and become a starting fixture on the line for the foreseeable future. The incoming 1st will be used as our other additional high Rd picks to bring in potential starters at other positions of need. |
