MLB Thaddeus Fitzgerald may have the highest ceiling of all season 37 rookies. The 3rd overall draft pick hopes to solidify a Cleveland Brown's defensive unit that is on the cusp of catapaulting the team into playoff contention.  Fitzgerald combines a rare skillset of strength (88pow, 86str), speed (85spd, 90acl) and instincts (92tak, 87pur, 86bsh) to come in as the day 1 starter at the middle linebacker spot. Through the first two games, Thaddeus has...

WR Iran Bodiford may be the most impactful rookie thus far through the first two weeks of the season. He currently leads the league in receptions (17), 3rd in yards (296), T-2nd in yards per game (148) and is T-4th in touchdown receptions (2).  The San Francisco 49ers were so confident in this kid's abilities that they nabbed him with the 14th overall pick in this year's draft.  He has elite speed (95) and acceleration (94). The Ballad of Rich Jameson

Rich Jameson had an illustrious football career at the University of Louisville, where he set school records in passing yards and TDs, which led him to be known as the Big King on Campus (BIG KOC).  The game of football came to him with ease, so much so that he was able to be out on the town every night and down a sixer of West Sixth IPA, throw back a few Old No. 7s, slay a college floozy, and be at practice the following morning th...

I hope everyone enjoyed my stats columns this Madden. I had a lot of fun making them and I appreciate all of the compliments a...

As always, I have sat down at the end of the season to take a stab at trying to predict the remaining outcomes to figure out who will be playing in the playoffs. Here is my predictions:

Of course I get to deal with tie-breakers with both Cleveland/Oakland as well as Carolina/San Francisco. Since they did not have head to head games ...

There has been much debate on whether your offensive line really matters in Madden this year. To find out, I looked at each team's starting offensive lines, and compared the average's of their starting 5 against their team's total rushing yards. By using the total yards instead of individual RB's stats, it will better offset the RB's overall rating by averaging it out with the backup RBs abilities, giving us a better outlook of line play vs. RB abilities.

It ...

Award Picks

OPOY

Brandon Cooks (94 catches, 1812 yards, 16 TD)

Not only did Cooks run laps around the rest of the receivers in RedZone, he did so with Blaine Gabbert and a rookie QB throwing him the ball this season. He was the best player of the 14-2, #1 seed, New Orleans Saints.

DPOY

Stephone Anthony (92 ta...
