Prime's Season 70

Primetime Player Spotlight (Pt 4)

Back like MJ when he won 3 more! Back like Neo and The Matrix! Back like Coach Mayne Event, Coach Nick and Coach Tiko! RED ZOOOOOONE! It's PRIIIIIIIME! And we BACK for the Last Dance! I got Part 4 of my Season 70 Defensive Primetime Players. I’m bout to wrap this thang up like a carne asada burrito at ya favorite taco stand, man. Oowee! Lemme get extra green sauce, Miss Lupita! Ride with me RZ. Let me show you somethin’...

LA Rams

Aaron Donald is the Best Defender in the League, man. He’s been regarded as the Most Dominant Player today, and is virtually unstoppable in a 1 on 1 situation. But the problem is, even 2 people are outnumbered when they square up with the “Cheat Code”... He is the leader of the Rams Defense. And he makes 10 other guys better whenever he is on the field. Rams success depends on him. And he is always a favorite for MVP as a Defender, man.

B-More Ravens

The Ravens were a hard nut to crack, man. I coulda went a couple ways with all these Vets here. But I went with the youth movement here. Pat Queen is destined for greatness I don’t think even HE knows about yet, man. This season really could be his coming out party. He’s got solid teammates around him, that offenses hafta avoid, at each level. And they will basically funnel playmaking his way on a weekly basis. I’m looking for him to make a huge leap into Stardom!

Nawlins Saints

Another HOFer just waiting for his Green Jacket, man. And that’s a BIG Green Jacket, ha! He is the Unstoppable Force AND the Immovable Object. He is..

Cam Jordan. Thru all the changes the Saints defense has had thru the years, Cameron Tyler Jordan has been a mainstay. You build around that type of player. Day in, day out, you getting all the Cam you can stand. And THEN he heats up. Good luck, man. You really gonna need it.

The 12s

Most of yall got Wagner here I’m sure. And that wouldn’t be wrong. But hear me out. Mal will be your Hawks MVP on the D-Side. His coach has him lining up EVERYWHERE. He plays in the secondary. In the box as a extra LB. And in your backfield causing major problems. That’s gonna translate to Major Stat Stuffing, man. Mal is a True Gamer. Somebody better get him. Cuz yall made him mad on the East Coast. Now he’s in Seattle exacting Revenge with the 12s. SMH, man...

Steel Curtain

Trent Jordan Watt is a man possessed. Who wouldn’t be when you gotta uphold the Watt Family Name. TJ looks like the little brother that finally got fed up with the big bro bullying him. And kicked his butt. And then he went to the pros to kick some more. I would hate to be a signal caller opposite of this guy. I bet every QB in the league is looking at him saying “Water sucks.. It really really sucks!” And he’s just out here trying to give them some High Quality H2O.

Houston Texans

Yes I know what you thinking, man. A Rookie with “minimal skills?” How Prime?? So to answer that I gotta ruffle a few feathers. This Texans Defense is bad. They can’t get after the QB. So there’s gonna be a lot of passes flying around. Aashari Crosswell is a undercover playmaking safety. He flies to the ball. And he will get plenty of chances to do just that cuz QB’s are gonna test this young man. Big Mistake. His catch phrase to QBs prolly gonna be.. “You tried it.”

Remember the Titans

Kinda a recurring theme for this segment. A Safety making plays. Titans are in that position where they need players to cover up where they are lacking, man. Again, QBs are gonna test this secondary with Rookie DB Farley on that side. But that’s Kevin Byard's domain. And he protects it like a Male Lion protects his Pride. Kev B will be one of the TOP Free Safeties in the league this year. And he could help Nashville win the AFC South.

Minn Vikings

Find the ball. Take it away. Repeat. That’s what defenses are meant for. And Eric Kendricks is pretty good at it, man. The WHOLE middle of the field is his to roam. And he’s one of the best in the game doing it. And I mean the WHOLE Middle. You can’t throw in his area, or several yards behind it, without a violent collision or a swipe and go! His Play Rec puts him right in the mix of what you trying to do. So you might wanna rethink it, man. It’s up to you...

RZ! That’s it! We are done here! Thanks for sticking with me thru this journey! Cuz I know you didn’t have to. But I know you love ya boy Prime. And I love you back. I’ll be with y'all at the end of the season to review these Season 70 Primetime Players.

As always, Stay Safe out there my people. And may all your days and football games be…

Smoooove Like Priiiimetime..
