After that hot 4-0 start the Panthers cooled off considerably to start the 2nd quarter of their season losing 2 games in a row to division rivals, the Buccaneers in a 14-13 nail biter and 24-10 to the defending champion Falcons. This team ended up rattling off 2 more wins when McCaffrey got back healthy and into the mix to get back on track and leave them 6-2 on the season which is still solid after a great start. Here we are at Week 5 and the Panthers are still undefeated after their first 4 games. Strong performances on the ground in week 1 and 2 made for an exciting first couple of games with Christian McCaffrey rushing for 565 and 5 TD’s before going down in the 2nd half of game 2.
