Quantcast

Offensive Rules:
• You can only run the same play a maximum of THREE times per game. If it's a different formation, it's not the same play. Basically, you must mix your playcalling
• No exploiting the game mechanics. For example, serpentine before a catch
• No chewing clock unless it would be done in the same manner in real life
• You can go for it on in any 4th down scenario only if it's a realistic play call situation
• No money plays or anything you would see in YouTube cheese videos

Defensive Rules:
• No nano/turbo blitzing
• Moving players out of position pre-snap to cause AI manipulation is illegal
• You must rush at least 3 players
• Users must mix up their defensive formations. It is unrealistic to run dime formation or 3-4 base defense throughout the game. (A good rule of thumb is matching personnel when applicable)
• No YouTube defenses/strategies

General Rules:
• Individual player substitutions must be realistic
• You cannot abuse reasonable statistic achievements when playing an autopiloted team
• Do not restart vs autopiloted teams
• You cannot change a QB’s throwing motion
• Record any dispute/gripe you may have during a game
• If your opponent violates a league rule during the game, pause and let him know about it. Sometimes it could just be an innocent mistake that can be easily fixed
• REALISTIC gameplay is the goal so anything deemed manipulation of the AI or game itself is illegal

Position Rules:
• DO NOT change the position of players with Superstar or X-Factor dev traits
• DBs can be used interchangeably
• Stand Up Linebackers can be used anywhere but DT
• Rush linebackers can be changed and used at any DL spot
• HBs cannot be changed to FB
• WRs cannot be changed or used at TE
• OL can be used anywhere
• DL can be used anywhere
• Safeties can be moved/subbed to LB if they are AT LEAST 6'1 AND 220+ lbs with a max speed of 88

Important Details:
• This is NOT a 48 hour league, the HOPE is always to play every game within a 24 hour period but you do have more than 24 hours. You are given a max of two nights to play each week
• If your game is not scheduled within the first 24 hours, we will not wait to advance if most of the other games have been played
• You must appear online when playing
• This is an ACTIVE league so it shouldn't be difficult to get in contact with you via DM each week
• The league's goal will always be to play 5+ games per week
• When Joining the League:
1. Everyone must create a coach
2. The name of the coach must have your GT or an easy identifier in the last name

Abilities:
• Users must report when their player receives the X-Factor dev trait. The admins will then vote on what XF ability the player will be given. The votes are based on the archetype and play style of the player in question
• Abilities can be replaced when a user unlocks a new one that the player does not have available from stock. Users can replace any ability one time. Any swapped ability is gone forever
• Example: Deebo Samuel unlocks a new ability such as Mid Out Elite as the league progresses, the user would then have one opportunity to replace one of his existing abilities to Mid Out Elite. If down the line a user replaces Mid Out Elite with Juke Box, Deebo can never be given Mid Out Elite again. For those who played it's basically the same logic as Fight Moves system in any of the Pokemon games

Awards:
• Winners of Best Position awards will automatically be given Superstar development, whether they are Normal or Star development. X-Factor will never be given out by us, that remains in the hands of Madden dev opportunities
• Winners of OROY & DROY will also automatically be given Superstar IF they make the Pro Bowl as well
• Leaders of major statistical categories will also be given Superstar development, whether they are Normal or Star development. (They're also likely to be the winner of Best in their position)
• Pro Bowl OL development will be upgraded by one

QB Evaluation:
XF will never be given by the admins BUT XF or SS can be taken away if a QB doesn't have a good season by these standards

The stats will be judged by the admins and PA leads with importance being in this order:
1. Total TDs (passing AND rushing combined)
2. Interceptions thrown
3. Yards/Completion Percentage
4. Team record

• Any QB who throws 6 or more interceptions in two separate games in the same season will have his development trait dropped by one level each time this occurs. A QB who is Normal when this occurs can still have his development trait dropped if he later progresses up in the same season. Basically, Normal QBs are not immune. Playoff games DO NOT count
