Coach’s Corner (Titans Edition)

What is your name and age?
Jesse, age 23.

Do you have any family? Children, Significant Others, Pets?
I have a 4 month old baby named Salem Lee, who is somehow already 20 pounds. Salem, his mother, and I have began a little family. Can’t forget our Chihuahua Opal either!

Where are you from?
I’m from NC, deep in the Appalachian Mountains.

Occupation?
I’m a manager at a local grocery store, essential worker baby.

Favorite NFL team?
Philadelphia Eagles! Bleed green.

Favorite sport growing up?
Basketball was always number one for me. Football came a little later.

When did you start playing Madden?
Madden 10, my guys were Drew Brees and Greg Jennings! Miss those days.

When did you start playing CFM?
Madden 25, whichever fucking year that was supposed to be. Loved it ever since.

When did you join Zone? For the commishes, when did you start your dictatorship in Zone?
I joined zone during season 2 of Madden 21. Started as the Falcons and got off of that team quick. My current plan to overthrow the dictatorship from the inside out is going perfect as on right now though.

Best Zone member?
Malcolm. A good madden player with a trophy to show for it, doesn’t cheese his ass off every play to get wins, never complains, has built a great roster, and gets along great with everyone.

Least favorite commissioner?
Butler. I’ve never seen a guy get his head as far up his own ass as Butler has been able to in just 24 years.

Favorite person to play?
Jags. Shalton and I always have a close battle and the division has always been even closer. Good division rival and he’s a good guy.

Did you ever play football? What position would you have been best at?
6’6 with no meat on my bones, so I’d probably be a WR or special teams player. I never played in school so it’s all hypothetical. I would have loved to play TE if I had ever hit the weight room.

What NFL player would you be most similar to?
Ifeanyi Momah. A WR/TE tweener that had some talent but could never put it together. I always rooted for that guy as well. Disappointing just like I’d be.

Favorite NFL player of all time?
Mike Vick. As a young Eagles fan he brought so much excitement and energy to a team loaded with exciting players. He brought it all together. The only jersey I have ever bought to this day, still hanging up.

Favorite NFL moment of all time?
The Eagles 2017 SB win has to be, but the miracle in the meadowlands has to be a close second, it was my favorite moment as a young fan.

Favorite Madden moment of all time?
My Dolphins CFM SB win in Madden 19. Tough league with a team I built up from the ground featuring a 99 Mike Gesicki and 98 Jerome Baker. Runner up is a moment from Madden 10, couch co-op franchise with a buddy. He drafts Drew Brees with the top fantasy draft pick and he retires one game in due to a spinal injury, we still laugh about it. That’s probably the beginning of my love for Madden Franchise.

Favorite food?
Nothing beats a rare steak with good sides.

Drink of choice?
Sweet Tea! I’m a Southern guy, you can’t beat that.

You’re going to be stranded on an island for a month? What are 3 things you’re bringing aside from food?
I’m bringing a machete, a fire starter, and a Robotic Japanese Sex Doll of course.

If you become the GM of the Jets, what is the first move you’re making?
I’m calling the Texans about Watson and I’m not letting them off the phone until a deal is done.

How has the pandemic affected you?
As an “essential worker” it hasn’t affected me financially, so I would say the biggest thing has been my families hesitance to visit my new born due to spreading germs. My grandparents hasn’t got to see my little guy nearly as much as I’d like but what can you do?

Thank you everyone for your time! Glad to be here and glad to be a part of Coach’s Corner!

Player Profile: Denard Bost (Browns)

It all started off at Rutgers for Denard Bost. The 6’5 190 lb receiver only had two stars coming out of Ridge high school. The New Jersey native originally wanted to stay true to where he was from, and due to the low star rating, he pushed for one of the worst d-1 teams, Rutgers. Although when it came time to play for Rutgers, Bost got the nod but really struggled. Over the first three games, he totaled 2 catches for 13 yards. After realizing that he was not going to help the program get a chance to win games, head coach Greg Schiano stated, “Although it is hard for me to say, we are going to be benching Denard Bost next week. The kid is just not working hard enough, and that is showing on the field.”. After hearing of this benching, Bost was furious, but eventually came to terms with why it happened. Although, at some points throughout the year Bost thought, “Who are some of these receivers? Did they even have any stars?”. The end of the season eventually came, and as furious as Bost was, he knew what he had to do, he had to transfer. Although at first teams had little interest in him, Bost worked hard. He gained over 20 lbs in the offseason (not the Eddie Lacy way), and got one inch taller. After realizing that he did have his moments in high school, and also seeing the hard work he was now doing, Bost ended up going to UCLA.

Bost’s first year at UCLA went ok. He was always their third option, as he tallied around 250 yards on 21 receptions. But this was enough to keep him as a starter for the next year. In this year, Bost got a promotion to the second option, and he produced more. This time around, he got 697 yards on 56 receptions and three touchdowns. Yet again, this improvement kept the staff happy, and for next season, Bost would be UCLA’s best receiver.  Bost exploded in what would be his last season in the NCAA. He tallied 1158 yards on 65 catches, 11 of them being touchdowns. Although, bad news would come in Bost’s bowl game. Bost was going up for a catch, took a hard hit, and landed hard on his shoulder which would end up needing surgery. This surgery made it so Bost could not participate in the NFL Combine. Originally expected to be taken late 2nd-early 3rd, there now was no range for Bost, some even saying there is a chance he may not go at all.

Draft night came and Bost’s family had no clue what was to happen. On the first night, Bost was so nervous just with the hope that he would get drafted. He did not have high expectations though as he knew he wasn’t even projected to go in the first round at all. Then came the second night, Bost now knew that this was when he was supposed to be drafted. He thought, “If a team does see how much I have improved, they really should take a chance on me.”. This would not pan out though as Bost heard, “With the 96th pick in the draft, a bum team selects, A BUM”. This is when the emotions really kicked in for Bost, as he knew he had one more shot. The third day came, and Bost knew what was on the line. The fourth round started, and… nothing. Bost was so worked up now until he got a phone call. Oh no, it was a scammer. Then he received the actual phone call from John Dorsey. He then looked at the TV and heard, “with the 142nd pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select, Denard Bost, wide receiver out of UCLA.”. Oh the joy that Bost had. But he knew that he was to recover from his injury, and get straight to work. The browns did state the they did not originally want to take Bost, but they had no other option, so they took a chance.

Bost was still hurting from his injury when training camp came, and he would end up not playing until week 2 of the regular season. It did not take long for him to catch his first touchdown as he ended up getting it in his first game, but that was his only catch. It ended up being a below average season for bost, only tallying 412 yards on 20 receptions, with 5 of them being touchdowns. The only good game Bost has was against Minnesota in week 5 where Bost had 3 catches for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns. He did get some tips from Odell throughout the season who Bost views as a great mentor, “He really is a great guy, he is willing to help me so that the team can be better. What other guy would you want for a mentor than the best receiver in the league?” This was not enough for Bost though as he wanted to be a star in the league. He knew he needed a mentor for the offseason.

With how big Bost was, he knew he needed a receiver similar to his size for the best help. His mentor ended up being Calvin Johnson. Johnson taught Bost everything that he needed to know. Whether it’s how to get off the press better, or even how to correctly use his size, Bost learned so much from Calvin. Bost now felt so much more confident going into his second NFL season.

Training camp came around yet again, and Bost was ready this time. Rumor had it that Bost actually kept a tally of every drop that he had, and for every drop he would have, he would have to do 20 pushups. Truth is though, Bost did not have a single drop the whole time. Bost has currently produced much more in his second season. He has now become the number two receiver over Jarvis Landry, and is a huge part of every Browns win. With the season not even being over yet, Bost has doubled production. He currently has 845 yards on 48 catches, and has caught 8 touchdowns. Will Denard “prime” Bost eventually become the number one in Cleveland over Odell?

Rodgers and Thielen

In a shootout between the chargers and the dolphins, the dolphins emerged victorious with a score of 44-38. Although both defenses struggled, for the dolphins, the QB-WR duo of Aaron Rodgers and Adam Thielen dominated. Rodgers finished with 520 yards with 6 touchdowns to add onto it. Thielen took in 235 of those yards along with 2 of the touchdowns. In the last 4 games, Rodgers has thrown for 1,409 yards and 14 touchdowns. Thielen exploded after his first outing in which he only totaled 12 yards. The dolphins have won 3 straight and are looking for playoffs. When asked in an interview of what kind of guy Adam Thielen is, Rodgers stated, “He is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met, and I’m glad that showed on the field. I’m excited for what the future holds with this guy, and I think we can do big things.”  Could Rodgers enhance the play of Thielen, or is Thielen a one hit wonder? That will be determined in the next few weeks.

Week 5 matchup of the week

Week 5 matchup of the week:

Patriots vs. Chiefs

The patriots come in at 2-1 after a bye week, and the chiefs come in at 3-1 with their only loss coming to the raiders. The chiefs are second in their division, so a win here would help them out. Patrick Mahomes already has over 1000 passing yards, and 10 touchdowns thrown. Tyreek Hill has 400 receiving yards along with 4 touchdowns. On defense, Kendall Fuller is having a great season with 10 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and two picks. He will be key to shutting down the patriots passing game. With a very great offense, the Patriots will have to play good defense if they want any chance to win. The patriots are first in their division, but the jets are not far behind. In his second season, Lloyd has tossed 6 touchdowns and 862 yards. Hopkins is their leading receiver by far as he has 200 yards more than the Patriots second best receiver who is Devin Stovall. Similar to the chiefs, the patriots have a great offense. Neither team has a great defense so the game can go either way. Who will win, the chicken boy or the old man?

My prediction:

Chiefs win 27-24

Power Rankings

Power rankings:
#32: Ravens - We are going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship, ZOOMING THROUGH THE SKIES, I'M NEVER COMING BACK. See ya next year, Lamar.

#31: Raiders - Who?

#30: Lions - Of course Jake switched off of them, have a new owner, can’t put them higher yet.

#29: Bucs - The Bucs only have one win on the season and are coming off a loss to the giants. The Bucs do not have a good offense, and they also don’t have a good defense. Jameis Winston has thrown 5 more touchdowns than interceptions.

#28: Seahawks - The Seahawks are currently sitting with a record of 3-10. The Seahawks do not have a great offense as Russell Wilson has thrown 7 more picks than touchdowns, and their lead running back TJ Yeldon only has 289 yards and one touchdown. Earl Thomas is their lone star on defense and he leads the team in tackles and interceptions. The seahawks are last in their division and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

#27: Jets - The Jets are currently in a battle with fins for last place in the afc east, and they are tanking for bock. The New York fournette's... I mean jets... can not really pass the ball, they don’t even have a consistent qb. Fournette remains to be a beast over 1200 rushing yards. On defense, the jets aren’t great but they have some good players in Jamal Adams and linebacker Raekwon McMillan. Will the jets be great with bock, or will they just be the same.

#26: Niners - The niners have an average offense with Paul Nicholson at the helm. On defense, they do not really have any stars that can get them to the playoffs. The niners are 3rd in their division, and at this point, their playoff chances are very small. In the offseason, if they add a couple stars, they could be contenders.

#25: Packers -Aaron Rodgers is having a pretty good season with 2900 yards, but he has thrown one more interception than actual touchdowns. Linebacker Blake Martinez has emerged as a leader for their defense, with 76 tackles and 5 sacks. They even got double doink as their kicker. The packers are in a tough division with Vikings, but with time they could get into the playoffs.

#24: Dolphins- The dolphins are a team with an owner in his first full season. Their offense is below average with quarterback Pat White throwing the ball to the other team like it’s a hot potato. Minkah Fitzpatrick remains a stud as he leads the team in tackles and interceptions. If the dolphins can fix their offensive struggles, they can make some noise. They are in a tough division with patriots and bills always competing for the top spot, will they be able to get into the mix next year?

#23: Bengals - The bengals have plenty of star power, but they still can’t pile up wins. They have the number one passing offense, but their run game is a liability. The bengals also do not play great defense, which teams attack and that is why the bengals only have 5 wins. With the Steelers being the one seed in the afc, the bengals are going to need to fix their defense fast.

#22: Titans - The titans are a long way from being good. Both offense and defense are ranked below 25. The titans don’t have enough weapons to win games and that showed this year. At this point, a total rebuild may be needed to patch every weakness of this team. The titans aren’t in too tough of a division but jags are the leaders with their stellar defense.

#21: Browns - The browns have a below average offense and defense coming in with a record of 5-8. The browns are officially eliminated from the playoffs and have a long offseason ahead of them. The browns do have some pieces to build around though including Baker Mayfield, Myles Garrett, and Todd Gurley. Baker has thrown for 3,392 yards and 20 touchdowns, but he also has 28 picks. The browns may want to look at o-line in the offseason with Baker Mayfield getting sacked 32 times. Star edge rusher Myles Garrett has 12.5 sacks on the season, and is looking for more.

#20: Falcons - Next up on the list is the falcons. Rip Brad :(. The falcons have an odd aspect to their team where they have a great passing offense, but also a very bad passing defense. The falcons are in a tough spot in their division with the leader being the undefeated panthers. Tevin Coleman has officially become the teams main back with 881 rushing yards, Devonta Freeman is now just in his shadow. T.Y. Hilton is having a solid season with nearly 800 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. Deion Jones is having a great season with 68 tackles, 11 sacks, and 4 interceptions.

#19: Texans - The texans have a subpar offense and defense. One key upcoming free agent for them is J.J.Watt. If Watt somehow does get to free agency, he will be a very large target within free agency. The texans are in a competitive division along with Jaguars and Colts, and although they are eliminated this season, they can always fight next year. Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller V are both having wonderful seasons. Watson has thrown 30 touchdowns on the year with a passer rating of 97.3. Fuller has 825 receiving yards and also 9 touchdowns to go with it.

#18: Broncos - The big pad boys have a great overall offense, but strangely have a horrible defense. Defense was what won the broncos the super bowl vs. the panthers in super bowl 50, and the defense has faded ever since. For the offense though, the broncos can both run and pass the ball against you. Offseason-acquired Breshad Perriman has been balling for the broncos with 1068 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. His speed has been well put to use. On defense, Von Miller has 12 sacks, three forced fumbles, and also 36 tackles. Technically, the Broncos aren’t eliminated just yet, but they will have to solve their defensive issues if they want to make some noise.

#17: Giants - Jake’s new team until the end of the season when he switches again. The giants have had all odds against them this season with little talent on the roster besides running back Saquon Barkley, and the giants actually have not done too much. They are sitting at 6-8, while being tied for last in the division with Cowboys, and having no chance to make the playoffs. Statistically, the Giants do not have a good offense or defense. Quarterback Devin Booth has thrown 3500 yards, but it has not been enough to rack up wins. If the giants can add a good piece to their secondary in the offseason, they can be for real.

#16: Cowboys - Something appears to be wrong with the cowboys. This will be the first season this year that they will miss the playoffs. They are normally a very dominant team who is typically a lock for the playoffs, but not this year. The reason for this losing may be to blame for their offense who is ranked 21 overall. Somehow, the cowboys are currently sitting in fourth in their division with a record of 6-8. Is this sudden losing enough for me to drop them way down, no, but if they want to remain a top team, things will need to be fixed fast. Dak Prescott has only thrown 16 touchdowns on the season, which is not enough for this competitive league. Zeke does have 11 touchdowns on the season with nearly 900 years, he has been their one bright spot. Jaylon Smith has 55 tackles, but the Cowboys are in dire need of another playmaker on defense.

#15: Saints - The saints have a new owner, so who knows how the direction of this team will go. Does the new owner want to build off the pieces he has, or will he go on a total rebuild quest in in the offseason. The saints are sitting behind panthers and their division, and are eliminated from the playoffs. The saints had a balanced offense and defense, but not being top 10 in either category is hurting them. Ryland Ridgeway may not have a ton of passing yards, but he does have plenty of touchdowns with 22. Alvin Kamara has been a dominant back with 1323 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns. Linebacker Renardo Holt has had a solid season for their defense with 51 tackles, 4 sacks, and three interceptions.

#14: Jaguars - How about that defense? The Jaguars have one heck of a secondary that is very tough to throw against. The Jaguars also have a good passing offense, but they are not as consistent as they would like to be running the ball. Dede Westbrook has absolutely went off for the Jaguars this season. He has 1427 receiving yards with 6 touchdowns. Myles Jack has 57 tackles along with 8 picks on the year, another great player for this jags defense. The Jaguars are currently tied for first in their division, so they will have to win out if they do not want to be eliminated.

#13: Redskins - Sony has been the definition of inconsistent this season. He is either playing good, or just garbage. The redskins have an on-par offense, but their defense is close to being top 10. They may lose a piece of their defense after this season with Vontaze Burfict being a free agent. The Redskins aren’t eliminated from the playoffs just yet, but they are going to have to win out for a chance. Derrius Guice is having a great season with 1399 yards and 15 touchdowns. On defense, linebacker Jordan Hicks is balling out with 39 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 5 interceptions. If the Redskins want to make the playoffs, their inconsistency can not show.

#12: Patriots - The Patriots are going to have to fight for a playoff spot. They are second in the division 2 games behind the bills, but they play the bills next week which will be a big game. The Patriots have a top ten offense and defense, but they can not pull out in some of the close games. David Andrews is an upcoming free agent for the Pats (plz no reserve again). Qb Joey Lloyd is the future for them with 36 touchdowns and nearly 3600 yards. The Patriots also have the star wideout that pairs well with Lloyd in Deandre Hopkins who has 5 touchdowns and 1048 yards. Outside linebacker Marquis Flowers who has been unnoticed by teams has 30 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions. Flowers is a dangerous player all around and should be looked at more. The Patriots will need to win the close games if they want to make the playoffs.

#11: Eagles - The eagles are winning their division, but are still placed at 11. The eagles do not have a great offense, but their defense is what is winning them games. They may lose a key part of their offense too in Alshon Jeffery with him facing free agency after this season. The eagles can not give up the division if they want the playoffs in a tight nfc race. The eagles do not have any standout stars on offense or defense.

#10: Chargers - The chargers are tied for first with the chiefs for their division. The chargers have a top 15 offense and defense, but are not dominant on either side. Hunter Henry who is a 99 overall has been the best pass catcher for the chargers with 746 yards and 8 touchdowns. Jatavis brown also has had 10 interceptions for the chargers. The chargers have actually used two different qbs this season in Jimmy Garoppolo, and Mason Rudolph. Joey Bosa has not lived up to his elite end status as he only has 7 sacks on the season. Star corner for the chargers Desmond King has 6 interceptions on the season. The chargers will need to fight hard for their playoff spot.

#9: Bills - Oh the Bills. Every week they are either bragging about how good they are, or they are raging threatening to quit every time. The bills do have the number one defense in points allowed, but the twelfth overall offense is hurting them. Unless the Bills can figure out offense fast, they are not capable of getting wins in the playoffs. They are going to be losing tight end Zach Ertz into free agency, so they will have to make moves in offseason. The Bills are first in their division, and must win 1 of 2 of their last games to actually clinch playoffs. They have a tough matchup vs. Patriots and play texans week 17. If the Bills can get a steady passing offense, they can be a problem, they just can not get consistent with it. Running back Kareem Hunt has over 1000 rushing yards on the season and 13 touchdowns. Rashard Rainer has emerged as a star corner for the Bills with 46 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 5 interceptions. The Bills must find a passing game to win.

#8: Colts - The Colts are coming off a huge win over the Bills. They are tied with Jaguars for their division, so playoffs are there for them, they just need to take it. The Colts have the 10th offense overall, and 15th overall defense. The top free agent they may lose is Brandon Graham. Graham is an elite edge rusher, so he will be a major piece in FA. Keenan Allen has 987 yards on the year, so he has performed to expectations. Andrew Luck has been a beast this season with 3887 yards and 38 touchdowns. The colts have the opportunity, they just have to take it.

#7: Rams - The Rams are shockingly not first in their division. The Rams have the 8th overall ranked offense, and the 14th overall defense. The Rams top players are Jared Goff, and Aaron Donald. Jared Goff has 3488 and 30 touchdowns on the season. Aaron Donald has been a force on the d-line with 10 sacks. The Rams may lose a key piece of their offense with Rob Gronk being an upcoming free agent. Believe it or not, the Rams have to win out to make the playoffs.

#6: Chiefs - Sammy Boy comes in at #6. He has been taking some losses recently, but we all know his offense can explode at any minute. The Chiefs have so many weapons on offense including Francis Turner and speedy Tyreek Hill. mahomes has thrown around 2900 yards on the season and 31 touchdowns. Mahomes leads the number one offense in the league. Both tyreek and Francis Turner have over 1000 yards at their position with Turner having 1474 yards rushing. The chiefs defense is average and is led by kendall Fuller who has 5 picks and 35 tackles. The chiefs control their own destiny, and they have a very solid chance for playoffs.

#5: Cardinals - How about the Cardinals? They joined after a 2-2 start by the previous owner and they have taken every opportunity they have had for the better. They now sit on top of the division with a record of 9-1 since joining. They are even on top of the rams. They have the 9th overall offense, and the fourth overall defense. Their offense is led by signal man Josh Rosen. Rosen has thrown 3422 yards and 29 touchdowns. The Cardinals can score when it counts, but they can also get the stops they need. As long as they do not choke, the Cardinals should make the playoffs.

#4: Vikings  - The Vikings are one loss behind Bears in the division. The Vikings have the 4th overall offense, and the 6th overall defense. And Boy their roster is stacked. Rookie qb Big Arm Throw Guy has 38 touchdowns on the season to pair with 3285 yards. Running Back Melvin Gordon has over 1100 rushing yards along with 6 touchdowns. The vikings do not have a 1000 yard receiver yet, but they have options with Odell and Diggs. Danielle Hunter has been an absolute monster for the Vikings. He has 22 sacks, and the Vikings linebackers and secondary give the d-line time to get to the qb. If the vikings do in fact make the playoffs, watch out nfc, they are a very talented roster.

#3: Steelers - The Steelers come in at number three riding the number one seed in the AFC. Rumors are that Steelers have the easiest schedule, but still, only having one loss is a good thing. The steelers have the 5th overall offense and the third overall defense. The steelers have already clinched playoffs, they are just fighting for the one-seed, but as long as nothing goes wrong, it should work out for them. The Steelers have 39 touchdown passes on the season to go with Leveon’s 989 yards and 5 touchdown season. The steelers have two receivers over 1000 yards receiving in JuJu, and Robby Anderson. The Steelers have a strong defense led by Shazier and Telvin Smith. The steelers are currently the favorites for the super bowl from the AFC side of things.

#2: Bears - The Bears have been a great team all season. After the previous owner quit after starting 3-1, the 2-2 cardinals took over and have done nothing but good with them. The Bears have the third overall offense, and they also have the second best defense behind the Bills. The Bears offense is led by Donterius Haynes who has 3254 passing yards, and 24 touchdowns. Allen Robinson has been a great receiver for the Bears with 1163 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. After Tarik has gone down for basically the whole season, Robert Kelly has taken over and has been a very solid back for the Bears. The Defense is led by Roquan Smith with 46 tackles and five interceptions. Watch out for the Bears in the playoffs, they will be making some noise.

#1: Panthers - And finally, we get to the number one spot, The Panthers. The Panthers have shown every aspect of being the top team in the league. They Are currently undefeated and have defeated opponents such as the bills and the patriots. The Panthers are already in playoffs so that is not a priority for them. The only tough game they have left is the bears. The Panthers have the second best offense behind the chiefs, and they also have a top 5 defense. There is no weakness to the Panthers game. With no big name free agents coming up, the Panthers will be a force for years to come. Cam Newton has 24 touchdowns on the season along with 3103 yards. D.J. Moore has been a great receiver for the Panthers with 1343 yards and 9 touchdowns. On defense, Ukeme Eligwe (yes, you read that right) has been a star. He has 32 tackles and 14 interceptions. Will anybody be able to stop the Panthers, or will they go undefeated and win the super bowl.

Power Rankings

32: Dolphins - a cpu team can’t win...

31: Lions - a newer owner, the team does not have a win this whole season. Nothing else to say.

30: Falcons - A major disappointment this season. The falcons have young players at almost every posistion, and plenty of star power, and they still are unable to win.

29: Raiders - Another disappointing team here as they have so much star power on offense with Antonio Brown and amari cooper. They are in a tough division along with broncos, chargers, and chiefs. Future wise, their top free agent they may lose is Gareon Conley, so they should be able to build off their team with a good draft, without losing too much of their future.

28: Steelers - Another shocking team to be this low. They have a pretty good offense with juju, Leveon, and Big Ben. They also have a good defense led by tj watt. Their top free agent after this season is Big Ben so they will possibly be in the running for a high pick so that they can get a high pick.

27: Seahawks - Although the hawks don’t have a great offense, they still have a defense that can get some wins. Bobby Wagner is the leader of the defense and is typically all over the field. Seahawks are in a tough spot though in their division with rams flying high, and the upcoming cardinals.

26: Browns- at 2-5, the Browns come in at the number 26 spot. The Browns are coming off a loss to the colts, and have not played up to their potential. The division is still up in the air though for the browns as their isn’t a huge leader in the division as of now. They have plenty of firepower with Todd Gurley, and a great defense lead by Myles Garret. The browns also have a couple key free agents for the upcoming season in Malcolm Jenkins and Josh Norman.

25: Bucs - The Bucs are here at 25 coming off a bad loss to the bears. The Bucs really do not have a great offense, but they do have some stars on defense. The Bucs star receiver mike Evans if having a great season, along with linebacker Lavonte David. Their top free agents for after this season are Lavonte David and OJ Howard.

24: Cards - The Cards come in at spot 24 coming off a loss to the rams. Although they lost, they showed potential keeping up with the rams, they just aren’t there yet. The cardinals are a balanced team so they do not have standout stars on offense, although Christian Kirk is having a very solid season. On defense, their star edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue is having a monster season. The main thing holding them back is the rams in their division.

23: Vikings - The Vikings come in at spot number 23 after just recently playing the Saints in a close loss. The Vikings are 12th in the league with scoring points so their offense is not a huge problem. Everson Griffin is having a nice season with 7 sacks. Stefon Diggs is on track to have a very good season currently sitting at 560 yards.

22: Eagles - The eagles are coming off a win against the panthers. The eagles have a top 10 defense led by  Fletcher Cox who has 7 sacks on the season. Their offense is just not consistent and that is where they are flawed. One of the main targets of the offense is Zach Ertz who was  shut down by the panthers and Ertz is having a down season. If the eagles better their offense, they can become a very solid team.

21: Giants - The giants are coming off a loss to the rams before their bye week. The giants have a top 5 offense overall in the league led by Odell who is having a pretty good season. Their defense is hurting them overall as they have the 21st overall defense, with their main star being Landon Collins who has not played great this season recording zero fumbles forced or interceptions. The giants defense may take a blow after this season with Damon Snacks Harrison becoming a free agent.

20: Titans - The titans went into their bye week after giving up 42 points to the bills in a 42-28 loss. The titans stats prove that they are suffering right now as they are not top 20 in either offense or defense. Their best player is safety Kevin Byard who has 18 tackles and an interception on the season. The titans do not have any major free agents as their top free agent is Brett Kern.

19: Chargers - The Chargers could be seen as a lower spot since they just lost to the 2-6 raiders, but they have plenty of star power. They have a top 10 offense overall led by Hunter Henry who has 570 yards and 5 touchdowns. The defense isn’t overall that great as it is ranked at 25th, so that is a major change that needs to be made. The chargers offense may take a major hit this season as both Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon are going to be free agents.

18: Ravens - The Ravens are placed at 18 resulting from a win against the cowboys. Their offense is ranked at 13 who is led by the young qb Lamar Jackson. The Ravens have a major problem on defense ranked at 31 led by Michael Pierce with 4 sacks. If the ravens want to become an elite team, they have to fix their defense fast. They have zero notable upcoming free agents.

17: Bengals - The Bengals are coming off of a dominant 30-12 win against the jaguars. The bengals have a top 15 offense led by Colton Nelson. Like the Ravens though, the bengals have a bad overall defense ranked at 27 led by Carl Lawson. The top free agent for the bengals is Vontaze Burfict, a well known dirty player.

16: Jets - The Jets are coming off of  a horrible 20-6 loss to the rams where they showed almost no offense. The jets aren’t top 15 in offense or defense this season. Although the offense is not exactly that great, they have a good run game led by Lenny Fournette. Their defense is led by safety Jamaal Adams. Their top free agent for this season is Zach Brown.

15: Niners - The 49ers are coming off a 17-10 loss to the redskins. The 49ers have one of the not so good offenses in the league ranked at 29th overall. The defense is 14th overall who is led by Deforest Buckner who has 13 tackles and 5 sacks on the year. Their top upcoming free agent is Richard Sherman so possibly a big blow to the defense.

14: Packers - The packers last game was a win against the win against the saints where they showed potential on offense and defense. The packers have an average offense and a top 10 defense which is led by Kenny Clark who has 4 sacks and a forced fumble. The packers may lose a very key player on the offensive line in David Bakhtiari if not resigned.

13: Texans: The Texans are coming off a solid 35-24 win over the lions. The Texans have a below average defense, but have a solid defense that is getting them their wins. Their offense is led by deandre Hopkins who has almost 700 receiving yards this season. The Texans offense and defense may take blows if they are unable to resign free agents Deshaun Watson and safety Andre Hal.

12: Chiefs: The Chiefs offense has been on fire lately, but they are 4-3 showing that they aren’t among top teams just yet, but they are very close. The Chiefs have the number one ranked offense with Tyreek Hill putting up monster numbers already having 1080 receiving yards on the season and 10 touchdowns. The only way the chiefs lose is in shootouts with others teams that can expose their defense. A notable upcoming free agent for the chiefs is linebacker Justin Houston. The chiefs will be a top 10 team very soon with how great their offense has become.

11: Saints - The saints are coming off of a close 17-13 win over the Vikings. Their offense hasn’t been over the top this year, but that defense is on fire. The defense is led by star corner Marshon Lattimore who has 4 interceptions in the year and has led his team to become the #3 ranked defense. Both sides may take a hit for the saints though as Ty Hilton and Cameron Jordan might become free agents.

10: Broncos - The Broncos are coming off of a high scoring 37-31 win over the fins. The broncos like many other teams, have a top offense which is #7 overall, but have the 3rd worst defense. The offense is led by Josh Cherry with 6 touchdowns. There are no real notable free agents for Denver.

9: Jags: The Jaguars lost their last game against the bengals 30-12. The jags have the 14th overall offense led by the goat Blake Bortles. The jags also have the 5th overall defense led by star corner Jalen Ramsey who has 18 tackles, 2 picks, and a sack. The jaguars secondary is stacked with Ramsey, Bouye, Eric Berry, and Patrick Peterson. A notable free agent for the jags is Calais Campbell.

8: Cowboys - The cowboys are coming off a close loss to the Ravens. The cowboys have a top three offense led by Zeke who has 545 yards and 7 touchdowns. What is holding the cowboys back is their defense. AJ Green is a huge upcoming free agent for the cowboys that may make the offense take a big hit.

7: Patriots - Patriots are coming off of a win over the dolphins. The patriots have the 2nd best offense with their high speed receivers. While also having the 11th overall defense, the patriots are vying to make some noise this year. Bradley Chubb also has 5 sacks, Chubb, is a major key for the patriots defense.

6: Bills - The Bills are coming off a 31-13 win against the jets. The bills have a top 10 offense and defense overall showing that they are another team trying to make some noise in the playoffs. Their offense is led by newly required running back Kareem hunt. The defense has been led by cornerback tru white who has played very solid this season. Sean Lee and Jordan Poyer are the top upcoming free agents for the bills.

5: Panthers - The panthers are coming off a bad loss to the eagles which holds them to 5 instead of being higher. The panthers have a top 10 offense and defense, so they can beat almost anybody if they play well. Their defense is led by linebacker Luke Keuchly, and their offense is led by Christian McCaffrey. Janoris Jenkins, and Marshal Yanda are free agents for the Panthers.

4: Redskins - The Skins are coming off of a close win over the 49ers. The redskins don’t have a great offense, but they have a top 5 defense which has got them here. The redskins offense is led by Derrius Guice who has 300 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns. Their defense is just balanced all around. A major key to their o-line might become a free agent which is Trent Williams.

3: Colts - The colts are coming off a decent win against the browns. They have a top 10 defense and a top 15 offense. Their offense is led by Andrew Luck who has passed for 18 touchdowns this season. Jabaal Sheard is one of the top free agents for the Colts.

2: Bears - The bears are coming off of their bye week after defeating the Bucs by 10 points. They have the 22nd overall offense. The reason why they are ranked this high though, is because of their 2nd overall ranked defense. Although they may not keep scoring on offense consistently, they can hold their opponents to little points so they are always in the game. Their defense is led by Adrian Amos who has 22 tackles and an interception. The offense is led by Allen Robinson who has 6 touchdowns and 676 yards. Their main free agent is Tarik Cohen.

1: Rams - The Rams are coming off a win against the jets. They are dominating on both sides of the ball with having the 8th overall offense, and the number one defense. They can stop any offense, and can also score with those stops they make. For this reason, the rams are the best team in the league. Their offense is led by Gronk, who has 373 yards and 1 touchdown. The defense is led by Aaron Donald who has 8 tackles and a force fumble. Gronk free agent.
