Welcome to Prime Time Football League

Prime Time Football League Is a Sim style league entering it's inaugural season in Madden 21. We are new but we are a team of seasoned members who have been running leagues with fair and unbiased rulings since 2014. We put in the work to ensure our leagues have run smoothly and our tight nit group is diligent and fair. We're looking for new members, our current leagues have become stale and a new league starting up provides that burst of life we're looking for while we continue running the older leagues. League will be running with active rosters. Teams are first come first serve Must be 18+ to join, don't want to deal with kids in here, we're not mature necessarily but we are adults who just enjoy EA's latest plug and play franchise Available teams: Eagles, Giants Saints, Panthers, Falcons 49ers Bears Packers Lions, Vikings Jets, Dolphins, Bills Colts, Texans Browns, Steelers, Bengals

Off-Season Power Rankings

Season 1 Power Rankings
These Ranks are based solely on the math of the 2019 season. There's some room for personal interpretation but let's hear the feedback or the flexes coming up.
The good to great
1. Packers- Flex on em champ.FW but who cares. Cheeseheads beat the Cheese head..such gratification
2. Texans- may not have made the SB but a hell of a season, Defense led the way to a top dog spot keep at it
3. Rams- Blue couldn't handle the Pack but g
4. Chiefs- Ya hate to see it, but the chiefs had a great run despite having less than stellar defense
5. Phins- Well now that Bdillz takes over we should drop em but make way for the 31 1st round picks he bout to get
6. Lions- Speed does not in fact = wins, but it came pretty damn close. Barkley could be the catalyst to exceed top 6
7. Jags- Respect to the new guy coming in mid season and making the push.
8. Vikings- fierce competitor in all games, consistency would be key for playoffs next year
9. Panthers- DangeRuss at it again leading Panthers to a Div title
10. Pats- Well just missed the playoffs despite elite Defense. see if that D stays stiff without a 30 sack contributor

The not so bad
11. Bills- offensevily a sheer force in the league, defenslivey... have fun doing sprints in Buffalo

12. Eagles- middle of the pack statwise but record says they played some close ones not far from a contender
13. Bengals- A stacked Dline didn't stop the offense from putting up all the yards. Trade may drop them from 31-32
14. Browns- This is about as good as the Browns IRL ever dreamed as of late, but the wins just werent there
15. Saints- MVP Cam Newton leads the Saints to a top tier offense, and defense. Just missing that Win column
16. Raiders- RAIDER NATION!!! ....is subpar at offense and defense. who knew 2 years off madden would do that
17. Titans- TBH... I dunno who was using this team majority of season. but their offense moves the chains
18. Da Bears- are surprisingly bad record wise for how stellar their offense and Defense played. Turnovers?
19. Ravens- Flems forgot to get his Defensive stopper badge. Skipped out on the Offensive Scoring badge too.
20. Steelers- RIP Buckeyes, but his defense lives on. still looking back half but maybe it'll turn around post draft

The fuckin terrible

21. Cardinals- team I draft did bad? weird.. Baker set to light the league on fire and stand midfield unphased. GOD
22. Cowboys- defense is the only strong point of the Boys. but it was clearly not strong enough- PAY DAK... wait
23. Chargers- FIDDIE WITH THE MAD DEFENSEEE.. your offense is literally dead last though
24. Redskins- New member of the league with some respectable numbers on offense and defense but  are missing
25. Falcons- that stellar defense and offense ain't no match for them forced losses. Less CPU games and ya golden
26. Broncos-Brissett deserves better than you Bruins.
27. Giants- Hate Gurley all you want, he only led the league, your D was the problem. prob cause theyre like 17
28. Jets- wtf is up with Vicous, running the ball, Good defense? glad you're back, NY Jets -> NY Bombers
29. 49ers- Teddy B out and another scrub in. just press X for hopkins. worked for Jake
30. Colts- loss of ones didnt hurt the Defense much. their record was horrid though. is there a duck to suck for at 1?
31. Seahawks- Even the great Pat Mahomes couldn't stop my dumbass from losing next to every game. shit. i suck
32. Bucs- well good news is you have a high pick, bad news is you can only get 1 guy :) defense is recommended

Mid Season Power Rankings

Here we go ya bunch of animals. Been barkin for some power rankings to see who's the top of the leaderboards.
This isn't just a rando biased or purely scheddy based ranking either. some math was involved.
Tryin to run it
1. Steelers- Congratz bruh. ya finally did it. flex if you must but ya still lost 2 in a row so enjoy it while it lasts.
2. Texans- elite defense and a great record is pretty dope but if you didn't have the jags and titans 4 games a year this is wildly different.
3. Packers- maybe his recent offense inflated his rank but Aaron been puttin in work, now keep that bench warm bitch
4. COWBOYSS- love you Fiddie <3 defense has been solid and coming away with some crucial wins early keep it going big dawg
5. The Baltimore Lamar Jacksons- fix your defense you fuckin scrub. you'd be 1 if you didn't give up all the tuddies buddy
6. Bengals- North is tough, Ross is a key component of this ranking with the elite offense and record of team.
7. Eagles- Weird that the TOP OFFENSE IN THE LEAGUEEEE, needs a better record before they keep fliexin.
8. Falcons- Old man may not be able to run with the big boys but good luck scoring on his defense
9. Cardinals- Heyyy gurl heyy. Is what your soft ass defense says to WRs sprinting to the endzone. stop em and ill rank you higher
10. JETS- top tier defense and offense, just been having a weird opening with your record. keep at her and you're on the rise cuzo

Middle of the pack
11. Chargers- Blue? okay record, subpar offense but good defense? sounds about right... not bad for now but try and be better
12. Dolphins- similar to cards, you got some work to do on defense. but given you have the dolphins you're getting a considerable buff
13. Colts- still a little sour I couldn't take the Colts over but at least you're doing it justice. riding defense pulling your meh offense up
14. Raiders-  you are the definition of average.. do something to stand out or bring your defense up a notch. you're so close
15. Bears- what the actual fuck did you do with the vicious we all loved. #1 defense and your offense is dogshit. sort yourself out.
16. Saints- Glad they're not a CPU anymore but lets be real, they'd be better off. Proud of your defense Yeez but the rest is questionable
17. R-Words- I expected more from Breezy, but not so much from the Skins. this feels about right
18. Browns- anything better than 0 wins is godly in cleveland but a big step back from last season. Big win over Pit. Your O needs work
19. Chiefs- Dusty slinging it for a top 10 Offense, turn them points into W's and you're in business big shoots.Trade me Tyreek <3
20. Bills- Bout time Josh Allan gets the respect he deserves, just outside the top 10 offense but he's still a Bill so. what can ya do

Ya'll lookin for them draft picks?
21. Titans- you were actually rated slightly higher but with all the 21's popping up in my math you had to get knocked back a tier
22. Broncos- The Lindsay cheese finally slowed down when that dude left, guess the broncos aren't elite yet
23. Bucs- Defense is holding you back from your full potential. But so is your offense... and your record. Advice- MIKE EVANS... yw
24. Seahawks- Wilsons overpaid offense is subpar.. Legion of Boom/ more like "Lots of Room" to improve. k they're not all gold smd
25. 49ers- Nasty ass Dline is not shining so much in SF, but is doing more than the offense. But that's not saying much.. sorry fam
26. RAMS- Defending superbowl champs!!! lol what happened? offense is top 5 but damn, the rest is attrocious. good luck with the pup
27. Vikings- Divisions a bit tough you right, but you gotta get the wheels turnin or start sellin before your pieces retire
28. Pats- Beat up on the Jags... woo tough guy. since then you're 2nd last in offense in my book. keep relying on defense, it's not working
29. Lions- hey, at least it's not 2008. Suckin it for that Megatron pick? Record is slightly better than your O and D give you credit for
30- JAGS- here we go boys. POWER. FUCKING. BOTTOM. Dibs 1st overall. I'd say I'm tanking but i just fucking suck apparently
31. Giants- I don't even know what's going on, CPU? User? in either case Barkley should be a GOD. use him till he dies
32. Panthers- Offensively and defensivley, middle of the pack! however your record just doesn't balance out

Feedback/ issues? questions? shoot me a line. I won't answer.

Week 17 Matchup

Dolphins(cpu) @ Seahawks(cpu)

Barons(cpu) @ Bills(cpu)

Panthers(cpu) @ Saints(cpu)

49ers @ Cards(cpu)- must win for the 49ers or they are left looking at the playoffs on tv

Bears(cpu) @ Jags

Diablos(cpu) @ Bucs- Hold your spot with a win or let Jesus take the wheel, and risk missing playoffs

Pats(cpu) @ Rams- win first, cross your fingers immediately after and hope the stars are aligned

Raiders(cpu) @ Chiefs

Skins(cpu) @ Cowboys

Steelers @ Browns(cpu)

Vikings @ Eagles(cpu)

Titans @ Packers

Texans @ Colts

Game of the Week

Broncos @ Ravens- 2 top AFC teams going at it, undefeated streak on the line but nothing else. I'ts unfortunate that this is the most exciting game this week. Both teams have established their offensive and defensive stands of the season edging out their competition. With nothing serious on the line but the undefeated season it will be interesting to see how these two power house teams proceed this week. Will their starters stick it out for pride, or play it safe and go into the playoffs and enjoy their bye week without worry of injuries.

THE REAL GOTWs!!!

Falcons @ Huskies!!!! 2 CPU teams with a huge factor by the decision of this game. If the Huskies hold strong and win, they forcibly eliminate a spot and 1 of 2 playoff contenders from the NFC West,  49ers and Rams.

Diablos @ Bucs!!  Bucs currently hold the 5 seed in the NFC, with a win this week they hold their spot and advance to WC weekend and as stated above, lock a spot and keep the rams or 49ers at the door.

It's a tall order but here are the necessities

49ers make playoffs if; they win, Huskies or Bucs lose.

Rams make playoffs if; they win, 49ers lose, and Huskies or Bucs lose.

Both Rams and 49ers make it if both win, the Huskies and Bucs both lose

Week 16 Matchups

Week 16 Matchups

Browns(cpu) @ Dolphins(cpu)

Giants(cpu) @ Cards(cpu)

Panthers(cpu) @ Diablos(cpu)

Raiders(cpu) @ Barons(cpu)

Redskins(cpu) @ Bengals(cpu)

10 Huskies(cpu) @ Vikings- If the Vikings stop the Huskies pass rush and get the W it will end their playoff chances

Patrios(cpu) @ Colts- Rivalry is back on, with a Loss the Pats are looking at losing their playoff run to the Bills.

5 Seahawks(cpu) @  7 49ers- Things are looking good for the 49ers to lock up a playoff spot. with a win this week they could put themselves in an ideal scenario to snag the divsional title week 17.

Rams @ 6 Bears(cpu)- If the Rams want their season to continue a Win here could put the Bucs on the hot seat.

Saints(cpu) @ 8 Bucs- After tying against the Vikings they put themselves a nudge forward but a win this week makes a tighter window for Rams, 49ers, and Huskies to swipe the last Wildcard spot.

Packers @ 2 Falcons(cpu)- the qb play would be the deciding factor here, but nothing relevant changes either way.

Bills @ 9 Chiefs- To keep the season alive, the Bills NEED a win. A Chiefs win for security wouldn't be a bad thing.

Cowboys @ Eagles- Big divisional game could be pivotal in the playoff picture for Eagles. Cowboys win and they seal their fate until wildcard weekend.

Texans @ Jaguars- With their division sealed and a extremely unlikely playoff chance for the Jags, this game is mereley for pride. Will the Texans topple the defending AFC finalists? If they do the AFC South is going to be a tight one next year after these guys improve their roster.

Titans @ 3 Broncos- Broncos have been running rampant over the league the passed few seasons. Can they hold up and continue their dominant season over a wideley undervalued Titans roster that has been coming up strong, overcoming adversity all season despite critics. aka me. sorry.

Game of the Week

4 Steelers @ 1 Ravens- As much as I hate writing this one, it's two top teams in a big game. If there is to be a team that puts a blemish on the Ravens record it's fortunate that Steelers and Broncos are the final 2 games for the undefeated Ravens. Steelers have been stellar only to flop, come back strong to then flop, then we're at a 12-1 season? Any. Given. Sunday.  If the Steelers are to topple the top team in football they need to do 3 things perfectly.

1) Hold the ball, time of possession needs to be a focus.

2) Make big defensive plays, get pressure, you can't play it safe and expect to walk away.

3) Force the pass on defense, Ravens are a top running team with an underwhelming QB.

Edge Ravens, the above is a necessity, it's a tall order and even then the Ravens still make good teams look bad and great teams look alright. End of the day, Ravens advance to 15-0.

2018-02-09

Playoff Bracket week 16

Division Leaders- Unlikely to drop from their playoff positioning

AFC

1 Ravens (14-0)

2 Broncos (12-1)

3 Titans (9-5)

5 Steelers (12-1)

NFC

1 Falcons (12-1)

Cuttin er close- On the bubble and the squads looking to sneak their way in last second

AFC

4 Patriots (7-6)- 1 win locks them in playoffs

6 Chiefs (9-4)

Jaguars (8-6) - Must win out while Chiefs loses out for sure- could already be mathmatically eliminated-

Bills (5-8)- must win out, Pats must lose out-

NFC

2 Seahawks (11-2)- a win this weeks locks them at 2 seed

3 Bears (10-4) Win out and clinch division- Huskies close behind ready to nab the spot

4 Cowboys (8-6)- win one more game and you're a shoe in, Eagles can still upset

5 49ers (10-4)- can take division, but a win holds them in the Wildcard anyway

6 Buccaneers (9-4-1)- win out and you don't have to worry about anyone but Rams

Huskies (9-5)- lots can pop this team up to div lead

Rams (9-4) it's complicated, should probs just win out. but with a win this week you're in WC

Hey you get to draft early, :)

Barons (0-13)

Giants (1-11-1)

Bengals (1-11-1)

Packers (2-11)- Quarterback- figure it out. dial that in and develop some pressure in FA or draft and you're back in order

Vikings (2-11-1)- should have kept Dabbs- stop throwing picks and get a Dline and maybe you're back in business

Redskins (2-10-1)

Raiders (3-10)

Browns (3-10)

Dolphins (3-10)

Diablos (3-10)- Oh Capt my Capt- abandon ship. Your team is old, but at least they're bad too. Get your squad in order cause your proxy isn't doing a thing for them. Biggest needs: point at the team, replace it.

Panthers (5-8)

Texans (6-8)- offensively your team doesn't look perfect but a few additions to the Oline and it's up there. Your defense has more holes than the Colts coaching staff. Improve your defense this draft and you're a playoff contender next year fo sho

Cardinals (6-7)-Just being here would help, but so would allowing less than 53 sacks- it's called an Oline and it comes in handy. Adding some youth/strength in the secondary wouldn't hurt

Colts (7-7)- Lewis has been sacked 60 times- fix your Oline and you're making a run

Saints (7-6)

2018-02-08

Week 15 matchup

Week 15

49ers @ Cowboys- Since coming into the league both players have made significant impacts, Clutch has proven to be a top contender out of nowhere, and Matty has proved that you don't need to keep a single member of your origninal roster, or any of those guys you aquired with them. May need to trade a guy or two for a win this week but hey, looking forward to it. 49ers by 10

Bears(cpu) @ Titans- After sticking it to me by a long shot last week titans gets a chance at a CPU bears roster. While it's not a user, it's still a bitch of a team to play. In the end Titans takes it easy.

Bengals(cpu) @ Barons(cpu)- who cares.. both teams blow

Broncos @ Bills- Stoned cold has come a long way since last year as a top contender and statics old roster may not hold up. Both players could have a shot but I'm leaning more to the Broncos riding the south park cows talent and getting the W.

Bucs @ Vikings- Typically these games go one of two ways, lots of picks and fumbles, or no defense and high scores. Is there an option for both? Famous Jamies or Kramer, the team with better pressure will pull away with a W this week.

Cards @ Seahawks(cpu)- Merica's still on auto, should be an opportunity for Otto to succeed in his stead, unless of course Berc steals the show.

Colts @ Huskies(cpu) Superstar QB vs an elite defensive line, cpu or not, the Lewis will have to be quick on the trigger to walk away with the W on the Huskies stellar defense.

Dolphins(cpu) @ Raiders(cpu)- noone cares- but Joey Bosa still looks good.

Giants(cpu) @ Panthers(cpu)- nothing special here, A-A-Ron Rogers still looks good at 50.

Jags @ Browns(cpu)- After me giving him the benefit of the doubt last week, he kind of flopped, so I'm thinking he's going to bounce back big this week against the Browns. They still have a decent group so the work still needs to be put in.

Pats(cpu) @ Diablos(cpu)- tours of duty < madden franchise. come back Bruins.

Ravens @ Texans- Ravens on a roll again, Texans has been showing signs of big plays. Hoping flems tunes into the stream, gets distracted, and Texans slips away with the biggest upset of the season. Fingers crossed

Rskins(cpu) @ Steelers- Back to back CPU games? does morrell look to his 2nd loss of the season? probably not, the skins are awful.

Saints(cpu) @ Packers- Chandler Bing, or CJ Beathard, who starts? Who finishes? Who stays on the roster next season? Not even Fiddie knows, his front office is as sporadic as either starting QB's passes. Will they be denied this week or will the Saints come up short?

Game of the Week

Eagles @ Rams- Wilson vs Mahomes, old bull, young calf. Both of these guys are middle of the pack, top 15 in offense and similar defensively. There's lots of positives one can say about both rosters and moves the users have made. This one ultimately comes down to 3 factors,

Biplay ability, advantage Rams, Deese is crazy athletic and will be a huge asset.

Defensive pressure, advantage Rams, they boast a strong line on both sides of the ball

Ball control, Advantage Eagles, keep the Rams offense off the field and increase your success

Brideau's Bet

I give it to the Rams, roster is better and stick skills about equal, unless Gecko pulls out all the stops Rams take it in a tight one by 12 points.

5 or less touchdowns on the game

8+ sacks on the game

Hope I didnt' jinx it for you.

Rough outing with Da Bears

On an upswing from last years terrible finish the vikings have bounced back to lock up a fourtunate wildcard spot. Week 17 was a heavily exciting ordeal given the severity and how impactful the games would be. The vikings failed to top their division rival Bears, thus leaving their wildcard spot to chance. With a win by the Bucs over the Steelers, the last NFC spot goes to Tampa and the Patriots lock the last AFC wild card as we know. After having lost the previous 2 games to the bears it was on the shoulders of Dabbs and company to push through adversity and topple the divisional champs. The vikings season came to a bitter end when Dabbs was picked off on a deep ball to breakout superatar Breshad Perriman by none other than Manti Teo. "I truely did not think he could have gotten there. It wasn't a risk it was a clean look. Teo just balled out and got the better of us" -Josh Dabbs. when asked if he would be considering changing his name back to his family nane, he had mentioned something about the lack of poop emojis to do so, whatever that means. But one things for sure, without a firat round pick the Vikings will be gearing up for next season through FA and potentially the front office trade market.

2017-09-19

Vikings, progressively unprogressive

"What do you want me to say? Everything is gonna turn around next week against the bears? We've got 2 of the best edge rushers in the game and can't get pressure. We have 1 guy (Jamal Adams) in the secondary playing lights out and we still can't force a punt. We've got Derrick Johnson leading a LB squad with a combined age of Shawn Oconners back up running back, they're kids for Christ sake. Offense? Did you mean arm punt? What's a first down. We've been outscored by 20 points in almost every contest. Our alopecia Neanderthal of a qb we were relying on has played almost none and is the leader in interceptions. Who changes their name legally to Josh Dabbs, clever, creative, grow up!! I've got a veteran qb that should be taking the leader role of this team but he has yet to have been to practice, chain smokes on the sidelines and has literally shit in my hat. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!" Head coach Kyle gass has not been having the best time in his new town. Is the pressure getting to him? We spoke to a few players on the team to see how things have been under the reigns of the new head coach. I saw him crying in his car after practice Tuesday. -Joey Bosa-- Coach? What have you heard? - Josh Dabbs-- I'm the coach now -James Harrison-- Who dat? -Jay Cutler-- - - The NFL is a tough ground to prove yourself as a head coach. It doesn't help that they have the toughest schedule in the league this season and it is proving overwhelming with this squad. Only time will tell if they can turn it around. As they prep to face the bears the team looks like they're on the ropes but let's hope this big division rivalry will get the fire lit under the asses of this treacherous squad and get the ball rolling onward as they so dearly need.
