1) Bears realize they are sending a big haul for an unproven player but plan to base an offense around mobility and speed at the QB position. Additionally, cap space continues to be a priority for Chicago as they gain a scheme fit QB on a rookie deal. Interior defensive line is also the deepest position on the Chicago roster, making Goldman expendable.
2) Murray’s offseason story from his second year will be voided upon commish approval due to him not playing for the Ravens in year 2 (benched for rookie QB)
3) It’s season 5 and the Bears are looking to spice things up and have some fun.
