Open to suggestions / ideas to keep the league fun without feeling like you have to follow a Rules Booklet.  Allow you to have freedom to manage your teams / implement how you like to play much like real life NFL coaches have their own style of playcalling etc.

48 hr advances.
Playoffs would be 24 hr advances.
Offseason would be open for discussion.

New to Madden 17 is the addition of PRACTICE SQUAD

You must designate 10 players for your practice squad on Preseason week 4,
If you do not.... cpu will do this for you

During the season other teams may use 1 of their 2 Free Agent Signings on your Practice Squad Players!

So be Mindful!
Practice Squad Players are included in the Free Agent Signings so if you would rather sign 2 guys from someone elses Practice Squad... That is completely Fine.

Being SIM can mean a lot of different ways.
When I think of Sim, I think of situations that you would see on NFL sundays.
Whether its No Huddle, teams punting on 4th down or kicking field goals.

Its very difficult to translate the game in real life into a video game.
I run a league with 8 admins, and the rules were written on a Microsoft Word Document.
We started with just basic rules with 4th down situations and limiting no huddle to 2times per drive, and overall we have had success with it.
Granted as the League evolved, so did the rules.
Mixing up play calling is always something that I think is fair for a Madden league.
Abusing the same exact play over and over to me is playing online Lobby ball.
Users should have the ability to run the same type of plays or routes if there opponents aren't defending it well. So if HB toss gains 15 yards the first time it was used, I'd expect to see another toss by that team eventually in the game.
I think a lot of the complaints about guys being not SIM are coming from guys that don't play with the same opponents over and over.
When you play in a league with a lot of the same guys, you start to notice their tendencies for plays being called on offense  and defense, and too me makes for a great league.

The word SIM is too broad and has many different definitions.
The very first League I joined on madden, was the POWERSWEEP league.
Its not a salary cap league, and It is ran pretty well.
Its Fun, however you don't get as much freedom as you would a true Salary Cap league.

All leagues are different, and all leagues are subject to scrutiny.
HOWEVER
The leagues that last are ran by a group of Admins
whether that's setting AP's
figuring out complaints
Coming to decisions regarding to the rules or a disagreement.
But even the owners in great leagues make them great because they continue to be apart of the league even if they only win 1 game a year.
Madden leagues are not about winning superbowl games every year, because Team Building is whats the most fun. And see how well you can build and shape the team into your image and your liking.

Not for the guys in Madn Football League.
A group of dedicated users that only want to play in a legit Sim environment.
The guys in this league have been playing together for 2 seasons straight,
and we are looking for more.

4th down rules, no huddle rules
All are as close to what you will see on sundays.

Trades are approved by the 2 commissioners, not by a committee,
Because we trust and know that guys have different values on players, much like they do in real life.

We are in Season 6 --- Week 13.
We did not restart for the XP sliders, We put it to a league vote, and the guys did not want to lose the teams they have built.
